Anya works for Zach, who owns a big company. Loved the reason she tries to seduce him – if he has sex maybe he will be kinder to the employees. She needed it, too, though and afterward, they seemed to work better together. He tries to keep everyone away from him while he is looking for proof his father, who he ousted as owner of the company via the board, was doing illegal things and taking the company down. The storyline was a roller coaster of the couple getting closer and the FBI moving in to take someone – likely him – down. Toward the end, they were very close and had committed themselves to each other, but with still so much left to do before the company was finally safe, the relationship was on the back burner, in second place. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. The suspense regarding his father was very realistic and I kept expecting Anya or her son to be affected out of vengeance. The ending was sweet and bonding.
Other people did not like the promise ring idea, but I thought it was a nice gesture. It showed he was serious and he gave the time line of a year. People in their thirties or higher do not wait once they get engaged so an engagement ring would not work if you are talking years. Older couples do sentimental things like promise rings, anniversary rings, special necklaces or bracelets that have special meaning, like a charm bracelet of their favorite activities.

They slowly fall for each other, while he tries evidence his Dad used the company to launder money. But what he found makes him Zach looks like the guilty one.

This was a steamy hot romance. Anya decides to seduce her grumpy boss Zach, and did sparks ever fly! He starts to become infatuated its her, and his attitude starts to soften. However, with the troubles his company is facing, he definitely is demanding as ever, and this causes issues with their relationship. I thought this story was cute and fun to read.

An “intriguing” love story
Anya works as Zach’s assistant in the real estate management firm he took over from his father. His father’s operations had not been above board, and Zach was determined to restore the firm’s excellent reputation. Her first priority is her son Ryan, and she’s raising him only with the support of her friends. When the government starts investigating the business Anya encourages and helps him find out what is going on and proactively helps him.

I didn’t know what to expect. It’s my first book from this writer. But I wasn’t disappointed. I love the banter and the teasing she does to her grumpy boss. Because grumpy he is. But underneath he’s a caring and big softy. He just doesn’t know how to act like it due to his problems and upbringing.
The writer discribed the story and background very well and I really like the time is spend getting to know the characters.
Only one thing I really wanted was that you got to know more about when they finally found the evidence against the culprit(don’t want to spoil who it is) the ending was a bit rushed but that’s purely my own opinion. I do loved the epilogue though to get some closure.
Although I do have a tine bit of hope that there will be a follow up story of the both of them.(hint hint )
I highly recommend this book and I’m going to read more from this writer for sure

This is the second book in the Billionaire Bosses Series. Anya and Zach will take you on an emotional roller coaster for sure. He her billionaire boss who’s a jerk to all his employees. She opens up to him to change his ways and finds herself attracted. Drama, angst, forbidden romance. The characters are ok but nothing spectacular. The book is a quick read that is entertaining. I read a free advance copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

The author has given us characters that we can care about. Anya, single mother, is secretary to Zach, new owner of the company. Not only do they have to deal with the sexual tension between them, someone is trying to take down the company by framing Zach.

Boss Me Forever was just an okay book. I didn’t feel the connection between the characters and maybe I am old school but I didn’t like having the female going after the male. It felt weird. And Zach was a horrible character. I did not find anything remotely good about this book.

I absolutely loved this new office romance book from Miley Maine. Zack is an uptight, jerk of a boss. Anya is his secretary who takes it upon herself to help Zack loosen up. Zack and Anya are an awesome couple and I loved the dynamic between the two. A great new quick read that will have readers right from the very beginning.

Anya is a secretary to billionaire Zach. Zach is above everyone and knows it. He treats everyone the same, nasty. There is no reason to get involved in his workers lives because they are nothing to him. Anya sees something in him even Zach can not see. Anya decides to push him to see where this can go. She knows she has to be careful, she has a young son and needs this job to afford to raise him. Sparks fly but Zach pulls back. This can not happen. He never opens up to anyone. He took this company from his father and needs to keep fighting for it. As the battle ensues for the company so does the battle of hearts between Zach and Anya. Who will win? Who will get hurt? Will Zach loose the company and Anya? This is a great book for quick wit, twists and turns and lots of fun when it gets to Ryan, Anya’s son. He may be the only one who knows what is really important.
