“Will you do me the greatest honor of all time and be my bridegroom?” she asks, hope in her eyes . . . How did I get here? My assistant, bent on one knee, holding my hand, her expectant face waiting for an answer.Just . . . how?How did I go from being insulted by Charlee Cox to hiring her to be my assistant? How is it that she’s chaos in color – making me crazy and my life better at the same … and my life better at the same time?
I never thought I would be staring down at her bright blue eyes begging me to go along with this ridiculous scheme I suggested.
Yes, I suggested. Like the idiot I am, I thought hey, why not start an HR nightmare and have my assistant ask me to marry her?
Confused? Don’t worry, so am I.
But try to follow along, because this is how I became Boss Man Bridegroom.

I have been waiting to hear Rath’s story since he first hit the scene in The Secret to Dating Your Best Friends Sister. In case you haven’t read that one, Rath is the best friend of that hero, Bram, and they have the best Bromance that I love to read, along with Roark from Diary Of A Bad Boy. These guys make an amazing threesome!
But when Rath is at work, its all Boss Man Crusty Pants and keeping his business manner professional and that is the total opposite of Charlee Bag of Dicks! Well actually her name is Charlee Cox but…. you see where the nickname comes from. And I will be totally honest, she did grate on my nerves at the beginning as I felt she was just so over the top, I couldn’t see any connection between the two… but hang in there peoples, it all comes to light and she isn’t as crazy as her first week on the job. She is a vibrant and voracious woman who loves her job and anything relating to Planners. By chapter eight, I was in love with her!
All in all, I had a great time reading this book. I cherished the way Rath learnt to relax and have fun but also how he grew within a relationship. He was an exceptional Bridegroom and Charlee was the absolute right gal for him. There were a few little storyline segments that didn’t feel right to me, but it didn’t sour the tale so I can live with it. There was however a little too much of the back and forth that had me wondering if it was advantageous or not, but that is the beauty of reading a book, the choice is yours to make. And I say, give this one a go!
4.6 stars
One of my favorite things about this author is her ability to have me smiling as I read a book. Literally smiling and getting lost in the moment, the characters, and all of their antics. I live for the laugh out loud moments, the banter, the sexy good times, and the connection that all of her characters have. I loved Roark/Sutton and Bram/Julia but they have nothing on Rath and Charlee.
Charlee had me smiling from the first page. Perhaps, because I see a lot of the author in this character with her love of office supplies and an overabundance of joy (Every time I see Christmas cookies and baking I think back to this author and her videos on her over the top baking and it makes me smile). I think it is also because she is just a fun character. It is also why I liked Rath even more, not that his bromance with Bram didn’t already own my heart, because I could relate to him struggling to keep someone so joyful and infectious at bay. I hate happy people (not really) but it takes me a while to warm up, therefore it felt natural to be watching him wonder, “WTF” as the antics of the day started. Friday’s at the office cracked me up.
I loved the premise of the story, grandma, and their slow-building connection. That being said, I missed the hilarity of the relationship as the fake relationship was going on and had it been there all through the book this would have easily been a five star because that is what drew me to the characters. However, the ending did make me feel good again. Still a very good book and reminded me of all the times that I smiled in The Mother Road.
Absolute rom-com perfection that is what Boss Man Bridegroom is! Meghan Quinn gives all the feels once again in this book!
This is a standalone and if you haven’t read “The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister” and “The Diary of a Badboy”- they are amazing as well and introduce us to Rath!! Go read them next because they 3 guys are amazing! Rath, Roark and Bram may be the funniest yet real group of guys! I love their relationships and their gals!
Charlee is one of my favorite book gal! I love how quirky and fun she is and real she is with herself! I loved watching her grow within herself! Rath is a sweet alpha- watching him see things within himself was so fun and real as well!
Rath and Charlee together are such a great story! I laughed so much throughout the book, I was mad at them, I cried for them and loved watching the story develop!
Meghan Quinn once again delivers all the feels. Perfect scenes in all the right places. I could not put this book down. I didn’t want it to end and I want to hang out with Rath, Bram, Roark and their gals!
Charlee is my soul sister! She is an organization superhero. She is spunky, spirited and doesn’t back down. Poor poor Rath doesn’t know what hit him. He is the boss, a boss who sets out to put her in her place. Unfortunately, he’s like a fish out of water. He may be a stern businessman, but he really does have a heart of gold… it just takes a lot to get it to show. This book has so much humor! I had to keep stopping to dry my eyes! There is also an emotional element that kinda slides in now and then. Its a fun story and especially fun trying to watch Rath come to grips with everything that is going on around him. This alpha is starting to crack. Such a good fun, wonderful story! Well written, as expected. Easy to read. Alternates between POV. There is some sexual content that may be deemed suitable for mature readers.
Charlee and her love of all things office supplies!! I haven’t decided who I love more- Charlee or Rath?!? I not only laughed almost the entire time but I laughed so hard I was shaking. I couldn’t breath during the Pictionary scene! I always enjoy Meghan’s humor, but she outdid herself on this one!! It was very hard to put into words how amazing this book was. I laughed, I cried, I loved! I have been waiting for Rath’s story and I was not disappointed!!
Just the title alone had me giggling – Boss Man Bridegroom…where does Meghan come up with this stuff?? From quirky and sweet to rigid and sexy – Charlee and Rath could not be any different but they were exceptional together!
Just how does one become a Boss Man Bridegroom? Well, I know, but what fun would that be if I gave it all away! Dive into Rath’s world head first and see for yourself, you won’t regret it!! And when you are done, check out Bram and Roark’s books! They are just as delicious!!
Ok, Ok, I think this one is my favorite. Rath gosh, my heart, and Charlee. They are so great together. I haven’t laughed that hard in such a long time. I’m not telling you why nope. You have to read it yourself, and you will not at all regret it.
Rath the millionaire, who comes off as a grump. But inside, he is nothing but the most loving man. When he finally lets his vulnerable side show. Charlee was a force to be reckoned with and her obsession with office supplies. So much fun to read about these two. The passion in this story was genuine, and you couldn’t help but root for these two. They are just special.
I’ve probably said this a million times about Quinn. But her writing ability is just all-consuming. You can’t help but get lost in the story. The characters play in your mind like a movie (and this would be a hilarious movie). It’s incredible how I can be laughing, and the next few pages, my heart is pounding in my chest, and I’m on the verge of tears.
And I have to have this book in Paperback. I loved it. That. Much. And plus it’s gorgeous.
Overall, Five Boundless Stars

This is hilarious rom com at its absolute finest!!! I kid you not!
Ive fallen in love with fictional characters and I can’t get up!!
Warning: this book will cause you to laugh so hard you will snort, have tears and maybe a coughing fit as you cant breathe through all that laughing!
This book is downright funny! Best rom com of the year hands down!
I literally cant even from all the hilariousness!!!
Rath is this force of a man. He is truly something else but Charlee is a bright spark that will make his world light up! A real breath of fresh air!
Meeting each other in a rather abrupt moment, but.then when Charlee becomes his executive assistant, needless to say Rath is in for the ride of his life!
Don’t even get me started on Rath with his friends Bram and Roark! I mean come on, ridiculous crazy billionaires that still act childish?? Count me in especially with their hotness factor!
Towards the end my heart just couldn’t take it!! OMG!!!
Anyway this book is an absolute MUST read and highlight of my year!
Read it, you must!! Truly, you will be over the moon that you did!!
And I want one!
I want my very own Bridegroom especially if it is Rath!
Rath stole my heart.
I loved everything about this book.
Author Meghan Quinn brings us another book boyfriend to love and never want to let go.
Rath and Charlee’s story is funny, sexy, loving and all around a swoon worthy book you need to read.
I totally loved how this crazy idea of these two characters came together to give one fun loving unforgettable romance.

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start on my review for this book because I was dying laughing throughout it! In fact, I first started reading when I had gone to eat lunch on a Sunday at Applebee’s by myself. I was sitting in the restaurant giggling so much as I read, because these characters, especially, Charlee, are hilarious! I loved how Charlee would get all spastic and just run on at the mouth whenever she was nervous. For instance, introducing herself and her last name was Cox, so she basically said it was like a bag of dicks, but not spelled that way. Of course, then Rath had to keep calling her as if that was her last name throughout the story, in a way, it was definitely a funny endearment.
The second time I was reading this in public was in a Wendy’s restaurant, and the exact same thing happened, I was giggling and I’m sure everyone around me thought there was something wrong with me. You see, they played Pictionary at a game night, and while Rath was drawing a cannon, Charlee was assuming it was a penis and her guesses just got worse and worse, especially because it was a cannon shooting, so, yeah, I’m guessing you can figure out just where her crazy ideas went to. One thing I know though, if the author is getting me to giggle that much, Quinn will soon have me crying when she brings on the big drama. Which she almost did this time. But, one thing that always annoys me is when one of the main characters doesn’t even give the other a chance to explain something, they just jump to conclusions. And that happened, so honestly, I have to really rate this book a 4.95 stars. But it was so good I can’t drop a whole half a star, just the tiny bit.
In the end I saw where Rath was repeating a pattern he had before. I had wondered about her grandma and what exactly was wrong pretty quickly, so that bit fit into the puzzle at the end perfectly for me, and made for a bigger blow up at the end. Meghan Quinn also does this thing where she will start with you with an event from later in the book, but it’s not the last scene, like a lot of times you’ll see, it is something from later in the story that when it pops up, you still have more to go, and I like that! I also love that while this isn’t a series, we did get to check in with some characters from other books by this author, Bram and Julia from The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister (which I kind of need to read again now) and Roark and Sutton from Diary of a Bad Boy.
Finally, I have to say that I love the author’s style of writing, I’d love to be that good. But, I did get an idea to help me with my own writing, and I love when that happens!
I loved this book so much! It had the signature Meghan Quinn humor, but it was also very sweet. I picked it up and had a hard time putting it down.
Charlee might be my favorite female character that Meghan has ever written. She is a whirlwind of positive energy (almost to the point of being annoying) and hilarious. That first scene where she shows up on her first day of work had me laughing out loud and I just pictured Rath standing there, open mouthed and in a state of shock. It. Was. Fantastic.
Once Rath became used to Charlee and her quirks, it was very clear that he needed her in his life. And it turned out, she needed him as well. I loved how their relationship evolved throughout the book to become more than either of them anticipated. It was lovely to watch unfold.
And of course Rath, Bram and Roark are still in the best bromance around. This book has a lot of scenes between Bram and Rath and I lost count how many times these two cracked me up. I’m sad that we won’t be seeing these guys in anymore stories, but I am sure that I will find myself rereading their books when I need a good laugh.
I was sold by the second page. Charlee going to an office supply convention, she loves to organize, plan, color code and watches New Girl… SHE’S MY PEOPLE!!! I hands down love her so much. I personally have an inappropriate relationship with pens so I truly get her. I love me a good pen. I loved her personality, the way she was towards Rath and bringing him out of his closed off shell. Their chemistry and banter just had it all going on for me AND this one was extremely funny. I could not stop laughing at her grandmas couple counseling. So funny. I also think Bram and Rath have the best bromance in the biz. I could read a whole story just on them alone. Hands down one of my favorite books by this author.
I’ve only recently discovered this author her books and can’t believe I waited this long to read her. I’ve read a few before but damn this one just takes the cake! I smiled so much I thought my cheeks were going to start wrinkling but there were also a lot of emotional scenes that had me almost bawling my eyes out. This book just had a bit of everything and also had it all! It’s definitely one of my favorites reads of this year and an absolute must read. If you haven’t read this author yet, I’d definitely recommend reading this one!
Charlee is looking for a new job after the last company she worked for merged and has left her without a job. When a new opportunity arises, it will change everything. Although she and her new boss, Rath, got off on the wrong foot, she tries to do the best job she can. With her bubbly personality she’s driving Rath nuts but somehow along the way he seems to notice how different everything seems to be and their relationship slowly is changing. When something life changing in Charlee’s life is turning her world upside down, Rath makes her a suggestion she can’t refuse. Although they are getting closer, Rath’s past looms over them as a dark cloud that may start a rift between them. Will Rath’s walls come down?… And will they get a happy ending in the end?…
Get cosy, settle down and prepare for this laugh a minute book, it was hilarious, the funniest book I have read in a long time and I loved every minute.
Rath has been needing an Executive PA and Charlee is the woman for the job. She comes into his life and completely changes everything he knows. I loved their interactions, you would think Charlee was the boss with the way she handled him.
Charlee’s has had a failed relationship and was jilted at the altar. Her grandmother’s dying wish is to see her walk down the aisle to her true love and this is where the great scheme for Charlee marrying her ‘Boss Man Bridegroom’ comes from.
I don’t really like when the MC’s in books take too long to get together and although they took their time, I honestly didn’t notice as this was such an enjoyable read. There was a good build-up of angst and sexual tension between this pair the more time they spent together and it drove me crazy!
I loved Charlee ‘Bag of Dicks’, she was fun, quirky and had no filter. She was a breath of fresh air, although if I knew her, I would probably think she was crazy but she did make me laugh so hard.
Rath is the grumpy boss who slowly starts to fall for his assistant and her weird ways, he made me swoon so bad. I loved him! Especially the way he took care of Sir Dragomir.
This book is a standalone but previous characters do make an appearance and it was great to see that the Bromance between Rath and Bram was still alive and kicking!
The minute you sit down with this book it will suck you right in. It’s an office romance with a marriage of convenience thrown in but it’s clear from the start that these two are meant to be together, and when they are together it gets steamy quickly. This book is why Quinn is my favourite Rom-Com author and her books a one-click! A must read for any reader!
ARC received for an honest review – thank you

Where to start and what to say about a book that is just perfect, Boss Man Bridegroom is one of those books you know is going to be special from the moment you pick it up and it’s not just the laugh out loud moments and there’s plenty of those, this book touched me on so many levels and I will certainly be reading it again and again because I can’t enough of Rath Westin and Charlee Cox…..
Charlee Cox is the girl we would all love as a friend, she’s funny and quirky and says exactly what she is thinking and she loves to brighten everyone’s life including her new boss……
Rath Westin doesn’t know what hit him when Charlee walked into his office and turned his life upside down and this quirky woman definitely gets under his skin in more ways than one…..
Please make sure you have time to read this book because once you pick it up you won’t want to put it down and please be warned don’t be drinking or eating when reading because there are a lot of laugh out loud or should I say snort out loud moments and I found myself laughing so hard the tea I was drinking ended up down the front of my hubbies shirt. I laughed so much I cried at this couples antics but I also loved the secondary characters roles because this is a book where every character has a part to play. A sure sign of great read is not wanting it to end and I really didn’t want this book to end I wanted more of Charlee and Rath but in the end I was left smiling like a Cheshire Cat and I highly recommend this book to all romantic comedy lovers and all lovers of romance.
A few things:
1. Its been a year since The Secret to Dating You Best Friend’s Sister
b. It’s been 9 months since Diary of a Bad Boy came out.
I have been hotly anticipating Rath’s story and ladies and gentleman, look no further…. it has finally arrived.
I laughed so hard throughout this book that my stomach ached and I could barely catch my breath. I had to stop reading this, because I’m getting old and needed to sleep, and the struggle to put it down was real.
Rath cannot keep an assistant. Linus (Bram’s assistant (the BFF book)) has the perfect girl for him. There is only one way to describe Charlee as Rath point out “she looked like miss fizzle”. Charlee is bright and cheerful, not to mention extraordinarily organized. After all that was Rath and Charlee’s first encounter… an Office Supply Convention.
Charlee flips his world upside down and he finds himself doing everything he once though ridiculous… even color coded pens for different days. Case and point:
“he grabs the correct color pen for the day and then holds it out to me. We “cheers” our pens like we do every weekday and get down to business.”
So, fake engagement (it’s in the story, you need to read it) and now they want to make it real. But Charlee and Rath are harboring past hurts that holds them back.
So what happens? You’ll definitely want to one click to find out.
Meghan Quinn writes stories those make my stomach hurt from laughter and then my chest ache with extreme emotional overload. Boss Man Bridegroom was exactly like that. My heart got inflated and dizzy with the sweetest, swooniest and most witty moments. And in the very next moment I felt my heart getting shredded with all the heartache. If you have never been to an emotional rollercoaster, this is your chance!
This is an office romance with twist and I promise this is unlike something you have ever read in this trope. Meghan Quinn created two amazing characters those will refuse to leave your heart and soul! Charlee and Rath cannot be any more different personality wise. Charlee is the most cheerful, bubbly, funny , witty, smart and obscenely organized girl EVER. And the boss who hired her as executive assistant is broody and grumpy. But there is a charming and fun loving and compassionate and swoonworthy man behind hia hard exterior. And Charlee is slowly breaking him down with her persistent and crazy as hell way of lighting up his day. Enter Charlee’s sick grandma who doesn’t want to die before erasing her memory of Charlee being left at alter and the marriage of Rath’s sister who is also friends with Rath’s ex assistant aka fiance and Rath’s best friend Bram. Things are about to get very complicated. Very very complicated.
The chemistry between Rath and Charlee will drag you deep inside the story immediately and you will soon find you are more invested in their story probably more than your own. I have gone through heaven and hell in this story. It was pure romance magic. I loved every second of Charlee’s quirky and unbelievably innovative way of working with Rath. It was simply amazing to experience how Rath fall for her even when his instincts were screaming otherwise. They form this mesmerizing and captivating camaraderie which transforms into this all consuming need and longing and craving. And like all great love stories, I had to feel the pain of heart break and angsty feelings breaking me down. Rath’s inability to be open about himself and Charlee’s insecurity created some truly dangerous emotional twists. I cried from sadness and happiness. If that makes sense.
Boss Man Bridegroom by Meghan Quinn was the all inclusive, high end and delicious spread of emotions for every romance lover. The author had my heart in her palms instantly and pulled the strings masterfully by her genius writing. In one word..ALL THE FEELS you won’t be able to escape!
Received ARC for Honest review
I absolutely loved this fabulously funny sweet adventure with Charlee and Rath ! The lovely and talented Meghan has once again given me the reader exactly what I am looking for in a book. Charlee is a smart, very detailed, quirky woman that has been left at the alter and that is one too many times for her! She is a Super Duper Extraordinary Executive Assistant . She knows what you need and want before you do. When she finds herself at the most wonderful office supply convention ever she happens to run into a snarky stoic fun sucker and that is not what she needs right now . She tells him what she thinks of him and off she goes but they shall soon meet again.
Rath is a man on a mission he is running a high profile company and is a rule follower . When he runs into a sassy, sexy , fibber of a woman that is not afraid to call him out he is a bit more intrigued that he wants to be.
As fate would have it they become boss and employee and now Charlee is on a mission to insert some organization, pizazz and knock him off his snooty pants routine.
When they each find themselves in need of a marriage of convivence let the games begin.
This is so sweet, funny, sexy and wonderfully emotional ! Loved it !

Not many books make me laugh but Charlee, with her love of colored markers, planners and Kool and The Gang, had me laughing so hard that my eyes began to water. She
was always happy and upbeat and I wished that we were best friends. Charlee was like sunshine on a Summer day and was the kind of person we all wish we could be.
Rath knew Charlee was special when they first met but he never envisioned the effect she would have on his life, his heart and his soul. She warmed him up, brightened all of his days and chipped away at the mask he wore that kept him safe from heartbreak. Rath may have felt that his blood pressure would cause his head to burst with all the adjustments Charlee made to his life, but he accepted that she was right about everything, and that made the time he spent with her even more special. Charlee was exactly what he needed, and Rath knew he had to dig deep to find the best way to show her how he felt. He had to be honest, truthful and forthcoming with his past or he would push her away, and that was not an option.
Okay, so I finished BMBG this morning and I……LOVED…….IT …….SO……..HARD!!!!!
I have been waiting for Rath’s book since “meeting” him on The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister…when Boss Man hit my kindle, I literally dropped everything…chores were forgotten…hubby left me alone….and I dove right in….I will tell you it felt like coming home….
I adored Charlee (she is my spirit character), she was quirky and absolutely hilarious! I connected with her on many levels (I am a planner freak!), she spoke to me through out the book. Rath did not disappoint; to be able to “see” a different side of him was fascinating.
As I was reading, I had a sudden urge to re-read The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister and Diary of a Bad Boy….because it wouldn’t be Rath’s story without Bram and Roark!
Thank you to Ms. Quinn for bringing Rath and Charlee to life for me and all your readers. It is truly an honor to have been able to read an advanced copy.
I will leave you with my favorite highlight:
“I was born with a piece of your soul inside me”
Oh what a wonderfully refreshing, laugh out loud read. Fun, flirty writing, Meghan has a way with words that actually enables you to visualise the moments. I love her writing style. So many funny moments, so many sweet moments, oh yes, let’s not forget the grouchy pants moments, and the super sexy moments. Got to take the rough with the smooth though, so we have a few of those pesky emotional moments and a few of them there lies. All these mix together to make a super enjoyable, addictive story, with adorable characters, great family and wonderful friendships. Don’t get me started on ‘bag of dicks’, where does she even come up with these hair brained ideas? Hilarious! Fake engagement, office romance. Full on five star read for me. I want more. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.
