He’s her boss…and she’s a human. Love comes with a price, but is Oryn willing to sacrifice everything? As the oldest of the four Dragon Princes, Oryn Veskovic had gotten used to being alone. He has his multi-billion dollar company to keep him busy, and lives in a luxurious house on the water in Auckland. Despite the tales he was told as a young boy, he had given up searching for his True Mate, and … his True Mate, and he was happy on his own, or so he thought.
When Adley Murdoch comes into his life like a hurricane, Oryn quickly discovers how much of an impact a fragile human can have on his life.
However, he never expected Adley to teach him about life, love, and the sacrifices people make to keep people they care about safe.
Oryn is well aware that love comes with a price, but he never anticipated it would be this high.

Lonely dragon meets his mate. Unfortunately she’s been in a bad relationship and isn’t looking to get into another one. The author does a great job building their story and pulled me in with her descriptive writing. I enjoyed reading their story.

A fast fun read that is novella length. I liked that the characters were pretty normal. I also liked that there wasn’t really insta-love. Oryn knew she was his mate, but pursued her as a human. Time went by and they dated. So that when they did declare their love it was earned and believable. I also liked her reaction to the supernatural being real. Basically this book was a realistic urban fantasy.

I read and enjoyed the first book in the series so I went straight on to read Oryn and Adley’s story and it was just as good as the first book. It did take a little while for me to feel the connection between these two but once I did I could not put it down and the ending was just great I would recommend this series.

Oryn was a dragon prince and own a multi billion company that stored data for other companies. He hired a marketing team to help with getting more business, he met Adley who had many great ideas for marketing. They dated in secret until the month was over that he had hired them for, and they fell in love and realized that they were soulmates. Then they had problems with the wolves from Russia and the alpha killed Adley but Oryn’ s personal assistant was a rare witch and turned Adley into a dragon to save her life. And they have their happy ending!
