From there things gets interesting and complicated Matt gets a phone call about his ex wife has died and goes get his son and takes him to the family ranch.Matt hires Kayla to be his attorney and invites her to the ranch to stops James his ex wife boyfriend to take Kevin away.
While reading this book you get to meet and know other members of Matt family.I really like that you get to read Kayla’s and matt’s povs from when they dating to the present. The chemistry between them is consistent though out the book.

Whopper of a secret!
Boss Daddy by Suzanne Hart is a well written second chance romance. I really enjoyed Kayla and Matt’s story. Kayla, her youth especially, was somewhat of a mystery. While she and Matt have a history, they really didn’t know one another very well anymore, the exception being their chemistry. In this they are very much on the same page!
The plot of Boss Daddy is multifaceted and I enjoyed reading as the pieces began to fall into place. It’s secretive and in the end wonderfully surprising.
Overall, this second chance romance is full of heart and heat with a healthy dose of family, long lasting love, closure and perfection in the form of a HEA.
I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
Boss Daddy is a story about second chances, following your gut and family. The author takes us through emotions with mystery, secrets, and love with a plot twist you didn’t expect.
I received this as an ARC thru Booksprout and voluntarily give my review.
He needs help to fight a custody battle against his nasty ex. She feels guilty over breaking his heart ages ago. The chemistry is stronger than ever. Such is the basic story behind Suzanne Hart’s Boss Daddy. A standard enough basic plot, but it’s standard because when done well it’s thoroughly enjoyable. This book is done far more than merely “well”. More like superb, and totally fun to read, so I’m happy to highly recommend it.
I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!

You should never give up – No matter what.
This story is an example of this.
Kayla and Matt were together in college, but then Kayla choose school over love.
At sixteen Kayla had to do something really hard and she regretted it since then, even if she couldn’t have done it in any other way.
Will everything fall in the right places, or…
It was a warm story with good characters.

Full of Twists & Turns!
There’s a shroud of mystery when reading this book. Enough twists in it, leaving you wanting to read more to find out if your guesses are right. A refreshing new spin to a Boss Daddy theme as I expected something else. Kayla struggled in her young adult life & for most of the story not much is known about the full history between Matt & Kayla. Everything does fall into place with a HEA. Well-worth reading this great novel.

Together Again
by Brenda L.
Kayla went for a interview and there met again her ex-boyfriend from college. Needless to say Matt was astonished to see her. He still felt the pull for her after all those years separated from her. Only Kayla had researched the company and knew he was there. After the short interview, he asked her work for them and she agreed. He gave in and kissed her and she allowed it. The feelings were there. They heard a tap on the office door and stepped apart. She realized she had to stay separate, which was hard. He asked her to come to dinner at his place. While there, he received a phone call which changed their lives. I read this book in one evening because it was so interesting. The characters and sub characters were so well written along with the plot. I voluntarily chose to read this early copy and give my honest opinion. I loved the story. Must read.

This book is a well written novel about a second chance romance. The book is about Matt Cole, technology business CEO, and Kayla Walker who is hired by him as his legal representative. Kayla and Matt had once been together as a couple earlier in their lives. Ten years later, they are still attracted to each other, but both Matt and Kayla each have their own personal secrets. This novel has steamy chemistry, drama, unexpected twists and turns, romance, and wonderful characters. Suzanne Hart has written another wonderful romance. I highly recommend this book!

I absolutely loved this book! It was a joy to read and took me on an incredible journey through the story of Matt and Kayla. The two dated in college but she broke it off in order to pursue her studies. Years later, they meet again when she interviews at his company to be the firm’s lawyer. The two find that the spark is still there but there are secrets held by both. His world turns upside down when his ex-wife dies, leaving their adopted son Kevin without his mom, who had sole custody. Immediately, Matt goes to her home and gets Kevin, taking him to his grandparent’s ranch. Kevin isn’t comfortable with him and there is more trouble as his ex wife’s boyfriend, James presents a letter saying that he is to be granted guardianship of Kevin. Matt calls Kayla to be his personal lawyer to help him get custody. It’s a battle with James and in the mean time, Kayla gets some information on a personal case she has been working on for years. She is searching for a child she was forced to give up for adoption. James threatens to get Kevin and in the end, they find out it was only for money, not out of love for Kevin. Through all of this, Kayla finds the true identity of her lost child, she and Matt fall in love again and the three get to finally be a true family!

The drama, uncertainty, intrigue, danger and suspense keep you riveted on a razors edge. Toss in turmoil and distress and you have one explosive adventure. Pushing through the trials and tribulations keeping pace with a slew of twists and turns along with bumps and bruises fuse this baby together sleek, shiny and tight. A Family Lost and Found
Veteran turned tech genius of a startup that has morphed into the most-talked-about new-comer in the technology world, Matt Cole can’t believe the degree of success he has achieved. His goal was to take his knowledge of the technology needs of the active-duty soldier and to provide a safe-to-use tool for the soldier in the field. So, when his past walks into his penthouse office, on the legs of new hire Kayla Walker, he is stunned. Ten years of life have passed since those shared college days. He had enlisted, gone to war and founded a multi-billion-dollar tech company, and started a family. She had stayed in New York, worked and developed a resume that made her eligible to rise above all the others seeking this job. Now, past and present collide when Kayla, whom he remembers fondly as “a cheeky little minx” applies for the position of legal representative for Matt’s company and as the best candidate, wins the position. Little do they understand how deeply and unknowingly they are bound together.
Hired to provide legal guidance for Matt’s company, he needs her talents more directly as his personal lawyer when his ex-wife unexpectedly dies, and at her funeral, Matt is informed by her boyfriend that he, not Matt, has been granted guardianship of Kevin, Matt’s son. True, Matt had not had been in close physical contact with the boy for most of his life—he had been deployed overseas in service of his country, and since his return, he had been using his understanding of the needs of that deployed soldier and his knowledge of technology to create his tech company. Now, his dead ex’s boyfriend is claiming Matt’s son! Not gonna’ happen! Not with the help of his new legal advisor!
Author, Suzanne Hart has woven a complicated detective story with a second chance romance. Possessing a vision of a complex plot, she sets up many threads that the reader needs to hold to tightly in order to successfully follow the plot. But the treads are not as tightly and convincingly woven as the reader would wish. Some threads are not fully realized—hints and clues from the past are not managed in a satisfactory fashion, dropped or underdeveloped. Central characters are not fully fleshed out and their stories become teasers that don’t progress the current story. Even the conclusion hints of a new relationship evolving from the grouping of friends. This is a novel, that while having good bones, needs another revision or clever editor to achieve its full potential.
