Blue: When my ex walks into the resort bar with his new husband on his arm, I want nothing more than to prove to him that I’ve moved on. Thankfully, the sexy stranger sitting next to me is more than willing to share a few kisses in the name of revenge. It gets even better when those scorching kisses turn into a night of fiery passion. The only problem? Turns out the stranger’s brother is marrying … is marrying my sister later this week.
Tristan: I have one rule: no messing with the guests at my vineyard resort. Of course the one exception I make turns out to be the brother of the woman my brother’s about to marry. Now we’re stuck together for a week of wedding activities, and there’s no avoiding the heat burning between us.
So fine, we make a deal: one week. One week to enjoy each other’s bodies and get it out of our system. Once the bride and groom say I do and we become family, it’ll all be over between us. Right?

I love Lucy Lenox’s Made Marian series! It’s such a sweet, funny, heartwarming collection of stories. I loved following the adventures of the Marian family. Borrowing Blue will always be my favorite. I laughed out loud, sighed, and cheered for these fellas.
I’m reviewing the audio edition. There are so many “really” moments in this story. It was fun to listen to a “straight” guy come out. The attraction between these two characters was enviable. The relationships made the family dynamics enjoyable. Michael Dean’s narration brought the story to life. I’m anxious to hear more.
Very good book. You will probably want to read the entire series and the related spin-off series.
A great book to while away an afternoon with. Made me laugh and left me feeling good.
Loved this whole series!
This was a fabulous book to begin this series! I loved Blue and Tristan together and how Tristan came into himself after meeting Blue. There were some I tweeting twists added to the story surrounding the secondary characters that thankfully didn’t deter Blue and Tristan’s happily ever after.

I’m totally falling in love with Lucy Lennox and her leading men! Learning who you are and who you are meant to be plays a central role with both are main characters. There are a few despicable characters as well but as in real life there is always someone who will not be happy with who you are. Blue and Tristan are stunningly beautiful together and I absolutely need more of the Marian clan!
Loved it! It’s funny, sweet and interesting. The MC’s and secondary characters are fun
Blue!!! This was my first Lucy Lennox read and I loved it! It was funny, sexy, heartwarming and I enjoyed the family drama! Looking forward to reading more in the series.
It was a fun read. Not much original in M4M romance novels, but this was a nice straight” man who turns out t be not so straight. Add in a dysfunctional family and another too good to be true plus one jealous ex and you’ve got a a quirky story.
* AUDIOBOOK REVIEW *
I enjoyed this story very much, it was fun, sweet and had some hot love scenes. The storyline has a good build up and a perfect ending. HEA!
Characters descriptions is very good, I felt like the characters was familiar in the end. Introducing secondary characters that peeked my interest is a good way to get me reading the whole series.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and good dialogues makes it easy listening.
This author’s writing style is making the emotions of the characters very clear.
Narrator
Clear pronunciation and a great voice
Read with passion so the feelings is coming through to me, I enjoyed it very much.
This first book in the Made Marion series is Amazon. I love Tristan and Blue are great characters and I fell in love with them as they fell in love with each other. I am excited about checking out the rest of the series. Definitely recommend.
I’m a sucker for great dialogue, and for navigating tough situations with honesty–not resorting to “the big lie” or constant misunderstandings to create drama. This was a lovely romance, and Blue and Tristan had fun banter! There were some surprising twists to the story, and I like the idea that we have the chance to read the romances some of the other characters will receive.
The unknown man (Tristan) is willing to help Blue when his ex appears. Kissing turns into a hot night. But then morning comes, they realize that their families are about to be connected, Tristan is not gay as far as his family is aware, and crazy family members adds to the interesting. You will laugh and snort through parts while the emotions will cause you to ignore the world.
I am a fan of Made Marian series. I have read it all. The book is my personal no 2 just after my favourite Jumping Jude. It is well written with great reality and characters.
It has all I appreciate in my books. I like pretending relationship books and the one is my favourite of the kind.
Some good M/M scenes! Aunt Tilly steals the show
A Great Romance
This was a great story how two people fall in love with everything that could go against them they fight for what is right for them. Blue is at the vineyard for a week of festivities for his sister wedding. His ex shows up with someone else. He meets Tristan in the bar at the lodge not knowing it was his future brother in law brother. But not so the sparks fly.
I loved this book so much! Blue and Tristan are the sweetest! Love the Marian clan so much!
Borrowing Blue is the first book in the Made Marian series, and it has immediately made me want to go out and buy the rest of the series! Blue and Tristan are amazing, and I love them both so much! Jeremy is a douche, and I feel sorry for Brad. As for Tristan’s brother and ex-wife, I tried to like them, I really did. In fact, I probably like her more than him, because at least she was nice to Blue! Set mainly in a vineyard, this book is a feel-good book, but with enough angst to keep you on your toes. There are also some laugh out loud moments, and plenty of steam coming off the pages too.
Well written, with no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow, this book grabbed hold of me and wouldn’t let go until I’d finished it. Blue and Tristan are absolutely perfect for each other, although I love the Marian family as a whole. I really can’t wait to read more. I just hope that Granny, Irene, and Aunt Tilly pay frequent visits, because they ROCK! Absolutely recommended by me.
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. *
