Three sisters and one enchanted wedding dress…
When three single sisters inherit their Scottish great-grandmother’s wedding dress, they also inherit the legend that comes with it: put on the dress, look in a mirror, and reveal their future. The dress is more than just silk and lace, for magic has been stitched into the seams of the heirloom. For the MacLellan sisters, the enchanted wedding … sisters, the enchanted wedding dress promises a legacy of everlasting love.
He’s just a borrowed boyfriend. He might also be her true love.
Gym owner Kenzie MacLellan has always been the most independent of her sisters. Spunky and self-reliant, she vowed to stay single, just like them. But when her newly married sister passes their grandmother’s enchanted wedding dress to Kenzie, she can’t resist trying it on. What she sees when she looks in the mirror shakes her to her core. Robbie Burns? Childhood buddy, best friend, occasional borrowed boyfriend? That’s the future the dress predicts for her?
Robbie Burns has tried for years to pry Kenzie from his heart. She’d never see him as more than her manager at the gym, her camping pal, the guy she borrowed when she needed a date for dinner or the movies. That hasn’t stopped him from being in love with her. But on their annual hiking trip in the White Mountains, Kenzie tumbles. Just not in the way either of them planned.
For the first time in her life, an injured Kenzie is forced to lean on someone else for a change. Robbie’s tender care for her, and her growing attraction to him, is setting off all her alarm bells. Robbie would never a change a thing about her, but is Kenzie willing to risk it? Has a borrowed wedding dress really revealed Kenzie’s borrowed boyfriend might be the love of her life?

This is book two in The MacLellan Sisters series and it is Kenzie and Robbie’s story and it is definitely a must read. Kenzie owns a gym and she is independent and vows to stay single but when her sister Jamie gets married and passes the wedding dress to her she can’t resist trying it on to see what it looks like only to get the shock of her life when she sees Robbie in the mirror and she thinks that this can’t be right as he is not only her best friend that she has known since childhood and who has even stood in as a fake boyfriend when she needs him too but what will Kenzie do about this new discovery as he and his friendship means the world to her and she can’t lose him. Robbie has been in love with Kenzie for years but he knows that she only sees him as a best friend and the manager of her gym so he keeps his feelings to himself because her friendship means everything to him but when they go hiking and Kenzie takes a bad fall and needs help everything starts to change for them but will it be good or bad only time will tell what the outcome will be for them. Omg I absolutely love this book and I couldn’t put it down as it was so addictive and a real page turner and I can’t wait to read the final book in this series. I definitely recommend you read this amazing series and you will definitely not be disappointed.
I Voluntarily Reviewed an Arc Copy of this book.
I adore books with enchanted rings, broaches, or like this, a wedding dress! Add a happily ever after and you have a winner with this story!
Middle sister, Kenzie, gives childhood friend, Robbie, the romantic fight of his life. But then again, all those MacLellan women make their men work for their happily-ever-after! And Lucinda writes a hero that makes you root for him. The juxtaposition of an enchanted Scottish wedding dress with a modern-day love story adds to the charm of this wonderful tale. Up next? Grace!
I love this series about an enchanted wedding dress.
This is Book 2 in the MacLellan Sister’s trilogy and is Kenzie’s story. With her older sister now married Kenzie has the magical wedding dress that she has promised to try one. Once she does she is shocked to find her lifetime best friend Robbie waiting for her.
Robbie and Kenzie go through a lot of hoops to get to their HEA with Kenzie resisting it and pretty much pushing Robbie away. She finally gives in to her feelings but it is almost too late, luckily for them they do get their HEA. Still didn’t love the 3rd person POV in this book.

I love the whole premise of this!
A fabulous continuation of Old and New. Borrowed was wonderful, love the main character Kenzie, she is a total spitfire. Laughter and tears, it was great. The author continues to amaze. This trilogy is a total must read, can’t wait for Blue to come out.
