I love, love, love Born, Madly, the second part of duology Darkly, Madly… It’s one hell of a ride of disturbing, full of twists, ups and downs book. I absolutely adore author’s genre, her fully diggins of her character, thus fully developing her characters, their mind games, their feelings. The psychology is deep, psychological aspect of book gives you full entry to character’s minds, their experiences, their motives.
Born, Madly continues the emotional journey of Grayson and London’s love beyond obsession and possession.
Will there be any HEA for London and Grayson, one of the most dangerous serial killers? Who is the copycat? Can he be found before he do unspeakable things?
All this you will find in this captivating story of must read book!!
Brilliant, cunning, sophisticated and hauntingly beautiful!!!
If words create magic, then Trisha Wolfe is a motherf@cking magician–a master illusionist that tantalizes with gorgeous prose, slays with emotion, depth, and detail, leaving me in awe struck at the power she wields with mere words. Not many authors have the capability, the talent or the grit to garner such a reaction from me but this woman, this sorceress, does it every time. Her dark matches my dark and her words own my soul.
“Good things don’t emerge from basements and cellars… Dark things do.” ~Grayson
Born, Madly and the Darkly, Madly Duet is an epic masterpiece that follows the relationship of two souls born of impossible circumstances, thrust into a world they can’t possibly survive, shouldn’t survive, but damn if they don’t try. And what a breathtaking, twisted experience it is.
‘We’re a fucked-up kind of inevitability. Not fated. Doomed.” ~Grayson
“A finality with a standing ovation.”~Grayson
I’m so very sad to see this duet come to an end but I am excited to see what other magic this author has up her sleeve
I am at a loss as to how to describe the journey that is the Darkly, Madly Duet
Chaos – Intrigue – Darkness – Passion- Ingenious- Stunning
You definitely have to start from book 1 to ensure you get the full potency that is London and Grayson
May I suggest you find a quiet corner to curl up in – something soft to hold on too – and a counseling appt for when you are done – because everything you believed about yourself is about to be shattered
London -she was supposed to be the sane one – the voice of reason – the balanced factor in this equation
Grayson -he was supposed to be the emotionless killer -the unbalanced factor in this equation
They were supposed to be in a Dr. – Patient relationship
Funny how things never work out like they are supposed to
I swear there are so many twists and OMG NO moments in this series that my adrenaline was constantly pumping and my chest constricting from holding my breath –
and as for the pinnacle of this fable – I HAVE NO WORDS
I can only say – grab a copy – grab on to the last vestige of your sanity -because this might possibly be the last ride you take as you…
The dark angel and her equally dark psychopathic killer protector are back and the hunters have become the hunted. But these two are a formidable couple with devious minds and this new threat underestimates his opponents..
A dark tale of unconventional love with plenty of crazy twists and turns that leads to an unbelievable ending.
What a spectacularly brilliant conclusion. I’m not sure there are enough positive adjectives to do this story justice.
Doctor and patient, serial killers, London is the key to Grayson’s lock and together they define depravity in a whole new light. I hated and loved them at the same time and was completely convinced that these two sick minds could only have one outcome befitting their twisted deeds. However, as I reflect on the horrors of their young lives, you can almost understand and forgive them for their brand of vigilantism.
This one is going to leave you with a serious book hangover, a true psychological thrill ride. Just when you think you have it worked out, along comes another twist to derail the train. I really need to stop trying to out think this author, her style is methodical and deliberate as she leads you to a conclusion that, in reality, you wouldn’t dare hope to cheer for in the company of god-fearing, law-abiding folk. But hey, it’s just fiction, right?
If you’re looking for a story that will keep you guessing and leave you breathless, I highly recommend this duet.
This could quite possibly be my favorite book of the year! Holy hell…. I love Grayson! there I said it.
Ok so you know what I liked about this book? Well its the fact you can’t guess what is going to happen. The author did a really good job writing it. Did it end the way I wanted? well hell no it didn’t. It twisted things up and really made you grab your kindle and hold on for the ride. I couldn’t put the book down once I hit a certain point. I didn’t want to continue reading in fear of the hangover that was inevitable, but I read anyway. It happened, I am so hungover I don’t know what to do with myself. I am just amazed with all the details between these two books and how the whole story played out. I am still baffled how it ended. I mean its one of those I should of seen it coming but also no way could you see coming. I can’t wait to be able to get paperbacks and have these sitting on my self. I will totally be reading more from this author after this.
If you like a good mindfuck, get this book!
If you like a good thriller with twists, get this book!
I honestly have nothing about it I didn’t like besides the fact the ride is over.
“We are perfection.
And we are the fear that lurks beneath it.
We feast on each other and exist only for the highs…and even now as I kneel before my dark goddess and pray for her mercy, I regret nothing.”
what a way to end this duet. This was a bit a of a ride but worth the read.
This author knows how to keep you interested the entire time.
I’m just sad it’s over! I need to buy it so I can read it over and over
I am a sucker for a good romance, and this one was epic. A Star-crossed lovers type story. But I think that I was even more entranced by the exploration of the human mind. The depth of research and insight that had to go into this duet. Not only was it very well-written in a medical and psychological way, but it was also done so the reader could easily understand it all. The entire ride was enjoyable for me, but the twist at the end is what clinched it.
WOW. Just, wow! I cannot say much without giving anything away, so here it is…
Book 1 was a masterpiece and now that artwork has evolved. The players have increased, the suspense has doubled, and the end game has been re-imagined.
This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole way. The first book was the build up, the unraveling and while it was an intense trip, Book 2 left me biting my nails the whole time, afraid of what might happen next, yet unable to stop reading.
It’s the biggest, longest and most elaborate trap of all with countless variables and too many moving parts. There’s a copycat killer nipping at their heels, dancing through their fragile façades and shaking up an already volatile situation. Trust issues call for contingencies, hidden answers call for international investigations and no one’s ever quite ready for the devolution of a serial killer…are they?
With so many things that could go wrong, this new psychological war will have to surpass anything that’s ever come before it and that will take the greatest mastermind of them all.
Serial Killer.
Psychologist.
Copycat.
Detectives.
In Born, Madly, it’s anyone’s game all the way to the end and what a mind-reeling ride!
Born, Madly’ is a completely dark and suspenseful mind screw that continues the story of London and Grayson from the previous book ‘Born, Darkly’. I do not recommend that you read this by itself so make sure you read book 1 before reading book 2.
What can I say but this is a disturbing, dark, gritty, physiological thriller ride like none other. Grayson and London find themselves in a twisted and dark web that has many twists and turns. You have two characters that are crazy mad/crazy hot. What a match made in heaven or hell if you like. You would think Grayson is the bad boy, London is the good girl but that’s not the case. It’s really bad boy, bad girl in hiding. In this book, Grayson is on the run along with London. They find themselves ensnared in a twisted and dark web that has many twists and turns. Nothing is what it seems and they have to figure things out before it is too late for the twisted lovebirds. The ending is one that will have you on pins and needles. There are so many twists and turns that led up to this point. It is one psychological erotic thrill ride with an epic ending. Grayson and London are a masterfully written couple who are deeply disturbing , powerful yet at the same time, I felt for them. They truly loved one another and understood what each other needed. Trisha Wolfe has written an epic duet that was bloody masterful in its simplicity in showing what twisted and amazing dark plots can do when showing the madness and complexity of the main characters. This is a duet that stays with you long after you finish reading it. I am heartbroken the story is over…or is it?
My Rating: 4.8 stars *****
“I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me.”
Very interesting and slightly disturbed which is why I loved this book. The characters are deeply troubled in a way that matches each other. You don’t want to like them but you do.
Definitely for someone who likes to read about twisted situations that make you feel uncomfortable feeling the way you do about the characters and book.
This book was just as captivating (if not more so) as the first book in this duet. I couldn’t stop myself from marathon reading both of them, one after the other.
This duet was such a beautiful love story. For Grayson and London, love isn’t sunshine, roses and floating hearts. They may be psychopaths, but they’re not delusional to how they feel. Their sense of honest and trust has to go beyond any normal level. I mean…what level of trust can you have with a psychopath’s honesty? You’d have to truly know how they think and still take it with a grain of salt.
Grayson and London understand each other in a way that makes it all work for them. It was like their love was the purest I’ve seen. With them it was just acceptance and a strive to fit their puzzle pieces to make their perfect picture.
I said it in my review of the first book and I’ll say it again…this story was beautiful and darkly poetic. The author didn’t focus so much on the physical. With these characters their attraction was more about how the other thinks and process, copes and survives. It was an outstanding and exquisite story!!
