This book was terrible up until the end. However it was unpredictable
One of the strangest, scary books I’ve read in a long time. But I couldn’t put it down.
WOW
I thought the author wanted so bad to give a shocking twist to the story that it ended up being honestly laughable. But also the whole story was unrealistic from the beginning a 6 year old that devious? Ridiculous plot
dark
Not realistic
While I liked the storyline I felt like it was not very well written.
A little different plot twist.
Very well done. Everything is spelled out and right in front of you. And I still didn’t see it. Grab the reader’s attention and you can lead them a long way past their exit.
I made it thru a few chapters then quit
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Have begun the 2nd book!
So very good. I usually have an idea what the ending will be but not this book. Kept my interest to the very end.
WOW! This book is amazing! Just when you think you have it all figured out, BAM! You get side-swiped.
Keeps you wondering what’s next! You’ll want to finish in one setting.
I don’t like this book at all! If I could give “minus stars” I would give it 5! It starts very interesting but then for a long period it gets boring and suddenly the entire story changes in a direction that is completely unrealistic and inexplicable. I’m sorry but I cannot recommend this book.
Overall I enjoyed the story, it was not well written though.
The point of view flips mid book and you have no warning and it takes a moment to realize, then when it flips back, you again have no warning.
I was not expecting the ending, I did enjoy the twist, even if it could have been done better.
I received the trilogy for free so I’ll read the other two books and provide a review on those as well, I’m hoping her writing improves a bit.
A horribly written book about a disturbed mother who frames her son as a murderer many times over. The premise was good but the writing was terrible.
I did NOT like this book. It had profanity & incest situations that were too specific. I also didn’t like how the author just suddenly changed from it being the mom’s point of view to the son’s – drastic switch with no warning – which throws the reader off. Hated the ending, too.
Surprise galore. Rally liked it. Want to get #2.
This book is a very slow read even though it is a short book I struggled to get through it
