Famous name? Check.
Famous face? Double check.
A life locked up tight? Lock and key.
The daughter of a famed supermodel, Nicole Bissette has lived her entire life unwillingly in the spotlight. And she’s learned that to keep unwanted attention from herself, it’s best if she never smiles, never laughs. Never lets anyone close.
Especially her employees. Especially that one employee who lives to … one employee who lives to make her laugh, who loves to see her smile, and who doesn’t seem to realize that he works for a fashion designer. Does he not know? Can he not see? Is that really what he’s wearing?
This fashionista is about to discover that love really is blind…

I liked the variety of characters and the funny ways they interacted with each other. I look forward to read the stories of Nicole’s friends.
Megan Bryce writes fast paced and entertaining stories. Boring is the New Black was anything but boring. The premise of a supermodel turn designer falling for her IT guy had me laughing. I recommend reading this book.
The characters of the book were pretty one-dimensional. They reacted exactly the same way to every situation. There was little conflict and you weren’t really rooting for either of the lead characters. It is kind of like eating vanilla cake with vanilla frosting. It’s okay but there is little excitement.
Cute and geeky – bonus points for the pop culture references, especially the IT crowd! <3
I liked both the main characters as well as the supporting cast, and I'd love to read more about Gia (and her Nonna!).
Some scenes had me laughing out loud - always a plus, especially when I'm on the train or subway :-p )
A very cutesy story.
Over the chemistry between the two characters. The ending was a little bizarre. I kind of thought it was out of character for him. It is a happy end. But didn’t feel like a ending.
I like how this book portrays that fame and fortune are not all we may dream them to be and carry their own challenges. And at the bottom of things, we are all people, with our own personalities, gifts, and oddities, and life can open doors to us when we let our real self have more say.
Unfortunately this was a bit boring for me, I waited a couple of days to write the review and honestly could not remember much about it. I remember the main male character he was funny but the rest just was not for me.
Not the most original plot but I still enjoyed it.
a long dressed up cliché.
This is a well written, witty love story. Very entertaining. Perfect weekend reading.
Bryce never disappoints! Unexpected, funny, and delightful.
One of the most inane books I’ve ever read
While I wish the sexy parts were juicer – I couldn’t ask for better dialogue. The banter between characters is spot on and makes it nearly impossible to put the book down. A fun quick read!
Great storyline. Has a real feel good feel to it. Will look for more from this author. The title Fashionista and the Geek says it all.
If the heroine brings the looks, fame, money and power – who is to say she needs an alpha male to complement her? A nice break from the billionaires league of HEA.
Poor little rich girl. Girl meets boy, falls in love, all problems solved.
This book was formulaic. Just plug in the names.
May be a really good book if you enjoy this type of story. Just not for me.
Plot is pretty predictable, but the writing is great. I love the way she uses words.
A fun but poignant romance. Well developed characters. I especially enjoyed the male lead and his family.
Flynn and Nicole are lively, believable characters that have real emotions, and develop a real feeling relationship. This is a part of a series and not sure I will bother to buy the rest as I dislike books that are serialized just to generate more revenue, not because I don’t like the writing or the story. It’s good, but just not good enough to compell me buy a business model I despise in spite of it.
Entertaining. Enjoyed the storyline and characters.
