KC Cross is the pen name of New York Times bestselling author, JA Huss. Welcome to Harem Station where every perversion is for sale and pleasure is the only objective.Bounty hunter, Serpint, has just returned to Harem Station with a prize addition to his brother’s elite collection of Cygnian princesses. But Serpint sacrificed a lot to bring this little gift home and now all he wants is some … sacrificed a lot to bring this little gift home and now all he wants is some no-strings sex with a simple, obedient girl and a bottle of whiskey.
Enter Princess Lyra. She’s any filthy-minded rebel’s one-night-stand erotic dream. If you don’t mind her bad attitude and lack of… luster.
Not quite the obedient girl Serpint was craving. But Cygnian princesses are hard to pass up. Even one with dark secrets. Because they have a very special, very specific, sexual talent.
They glow when they climax.
Lyra thinks she’s one of the strong ones. If anyone can resist an overzealous alpha like Serpint, it’s her. But his touch makes her light up like the sun. She’s never been with an Akeelian before and they are known for having an extra… appendage.
How long can she resist that?
Booty Hunter is the first book in Harem Station standalone series bursting with outlaw alien alphas with extra appendages, runaway princesses with erotic surprises, and a whole new world of secrets, mystery, and sex.

I saw a recent review of this book and based on the fact that the Hero, Serpint is from a race of males with 2 remarkable c*cks and the heroine, Lyra, is a princess from a race of females that glow while having an orgasm, I thought it would be an interesting read.
I figured the book would be your typical Alien captures female smut. A lot of sex scenes, but not much story. I am so glad I was wring. This was a great story, a funny book, though the humor was often raunchy, making fun of the alien body parts, I was laughing out loud throughout the book, but also as quite engrossed in the story.
The sex scenes were steamy but they were not outrageously smutty and there weren’t too many of them. There was much more story than sex, though there was still plenty of heat. I really enjoyed the book and plan to read more of this series.
Serpint is called the “Booty Hunter”, he lives on a station called Harem that he and seven of his friends found when they were teens. It was empty aside from an AI who made a deal with them and allowed them to live there. The AI does all the security and now millions of outlaws, robots and renegades call it home.
Serpint has a sentient ship called Booty, and he and one of the seven friends and a robot travel the galaxy looking for Cygian princesses to bring back to Harem to sell as indentured servents (basically high priced sex slaves).
After returning from a trip where his friend and his robot were killed and his ship was damaged, he sees Lyra who is a Cygian princess, she is being punished for being bad. He humiliates her by making the cyborg master prove she is a princess. Which he does by making her orgasm and glow.
When Serpint returns to his room he finds Lyra in his room with papers saying she belongs to him now. The story goes on from there and is very good. Lyra is hiding a lot about herself and there are other mysteries that come out as well.
No one is more surprised than me by how much I love this futuristic Sci-Fi romance! When I saw JA Huss was writing genre as KC Cross, I thought I’d give it a try. It blew all my expectations out of the water with this fantastic world she’s created!Think Guardians of the Galaxy meets Star Wars, and add in the most delicious erotic twists.
Serpint, and his sentient ship Booty Hunter, are trolling the galaxy looking for runaway princesses to fill the harem. It’s a win-win for the residents and these particular princesses…and a good life for a single carefree guy. But Serpint’s life is about to be turned upside down when he meets a spitfire princess named Lyra who has a hidden agenda, one that doesn’t mesh with Serpint’s not so secret plan to keep Lyra bound to his bed. Sparks literally fly between this pair! Their banter is witty and smart, as is the whole story.
It’s fun and sexy, but this is more than a light read. There’s underlying drama and intrigue in Harem Station, all delivered with JA Huss’ thought provoking style. She has me hooked, and I can’t wait for more!
I was lucky to get an arc copy for an honest review I love Julie’s books but this is the first in a series of science fiction by the name K C Cross
It’s just fantastic she has build a world about akeelians who are hot and handsome and Cygnus princesses who are beautiful and feisty
Booty hunter is Serpints space ship with a personality of her own there are lots of robots and AIs and you find out how Lyra and Serpint meet and fall in love in this crazy new world can’t wait for the next in the series
Booty Hunter is surprisingly amazing!
I don’t read much Sci-Fi Alien Romance, but this first installment for Harem Station series, is absolutely fascinating and well-written.
Booty Hunter is intriguing, exciting, suspenseful, addictive, engaging, with amazing characters and a great world-building. A real page turner as its best!!
Can’t wait for the rest of this awesome series!!
I absolutely loved this story! I love to watch science fiction movies and tv shows, but haven’t read a ton of science fiction lately. Science fiction romance by JA Huss writing as KC Cross? Amazing! Great world building and character development- it’s enjoyable to read and visualize. And the sex scenes are out of this world HOT! I’m definitely looking forward to reading more about Harem Station.
Where to start!?! There’s just soooo much going on in this story. Sex bots, unhinged war ships, Akeelian males with extra appendages and beautiful glowing Cygnian Princesses! All of these add up to quite the tale.
Serpint is the epitome of the brooding male and Lyra is…..feisty! Together, their chemistry could light up a room….literally.
This is such steamy story, full of passion and intensity and is offset with incredibly tender moments that left me feeling warm and fuzzy.
There are so many different characters and they all seem to have a story to tell. I can’t wait to read what Harem Station has in store for us next. A brilliantly written introduction to KC Cross!
So I was very entertained. Fair warning, though. It’s a Sci-Fi romance where consent is absent at first for some sexual acts the hero doesn’t participate in nor does he stop it?
Once you get passed that, it’s a good story with a sexy romance.
The trust issues, though, they persist to nearly the end.
I came across this book as a recommendation through my book club and I was so happy to know that it was included in audible plus. Had I known that J.A. Huss wrote under a pen name, I would have jumped on this sooner.
As I am a fan of alpha men, I’ll read any sub-genre of romance as long as I get that spicy touch. And let’s face it, these alien men have TWO c*cks (that’s right, I said TWO) and the women glow when they experience an out-of-this-world orgasm. Say wha????
I know, I know. It’s a little bizarre, but let’s face it. If you’re not willing to take a trip out of reality, then what are you doing here?. This book wasn’t at all what I expected, and I hope I caught your attention so that you will give it a shot. I love going into books blindly. Serpent and Lyra satisfied each others souls and their hot erotic romance was unique and interesting. You should definitely pick up the audiobook because the narrators were fantastic! Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood are well known throughout the romance community and if you have not listened and read along with their narration, then you are missing out times two. Hehehehe! I still can’t get over these men having two schlongs
My First Sci Fi listen. And JA Huss was the perfect way to start. Definitely has a tongue & cheek feel to it. And the Hero has 2 . So you really can’t go wrong Loved this story!

To be quite honest I don’t know what I was expecting going into this, because again quite honestly the title is ridiculous and the cover is not my style to draw me in. But it was free and I was pretty surprised by the amount of glowing reviews it had so I gave it a shot and dived in. I did not expect to be so impressed by Booty Hunter and yet here we are.
This book has seriously so much going for it. For one it’s genuinely really funny. I cracked up at so many scenes.
This series is about an outlaw station run by an all knowing AI and a group of alien bounty hunter brothers who collect runaway princesses.
Booty Hunter is about couple Serpint & Lyra. These 2 were SO funny together. Idk how the other brothers will top Serpint because I just LOVE him.
It’s so refreshing the female is an alien as well. I’ve been reading a lot of make alien/ female human books lately so it’s nice to learn more about both characters.
The world building was top notch and there was so many twists and a TON of action. Overall this was such a fun novel
Booty Hunter is a brilliant start to this fun and sexy sci-fi series by JA Huss writing as KC Cross. The world building is amazingly detailed and the storyline with its fantastic twists and turns is just mind blowing. There’s plenty of mystery and suspense surrounding the colourful characters of the Harem Station. But who are the villains in this fantasy saga? I can’t wait to find out!
Thank you to the author for an ARC of this book.
First off, I want to say that the unusual time it took for me to finish this book had nothing to do with the book itself; I went through a busy time and as much as I wanted to read, I kept falling asleep from exhaustion when I tried. I wanted to get back to it everyday that passed.
Do not let the name Harem Station fool you! I almost turned away from this book just at the sound of the title and it was the synopsis that changed my mind as it didn’t sound like a menage book. So anyone who is going in circles around the concept, trust me when I say this is about 1 male and 1 female and no sexy times with any outsider is involved.
Now, onto the book:
I enjoyed this book so much! I don’t remember the last time I read a sci-fi alien romance, and I devoured the words! (when I was sitting and able to). K.C. Cross/J.A. Huss creates a world that sucks you right in. We meet Serpint, a bounty hunter as he comes back from a hard mission, friends dead and a stolen queen. As he is walking through the room, one of the stolen harem princesses spits on her. Here starts the romance.
This is where I assumed the book “ended”. They met and the rest of the book would be their romance. It was but there was SO much more to this book than I thought going in. The interstellar issues, the battles, etc. The author created an interesting and large plot that I can foresee how it will be interwoven through the other books.
More so, the characters–specifically Lyra–is so interesting. She isn’t just a female glowing alien. She’s a weapon and knows it too but chooses to keep it to herself. A weapon that was specifically designed and created to be so. By who? You ask…Read and find out!
The reason I give this book 4 stars was because sometimes the descriptions were not super clear and I had issues picturing the scene in some parts. Especially when it comes to Serpint’s ship. I just can’t get a clear image and would have liked a bit more descriptions regarding it.
But other than that and overall, it was a great book with great characters that introduce to us the complex world and the sorts of characters we will expect to see. I can’t wait to read the next book/prologue and see how the queen fits into all this, and then the third and next full book.
Hell yeah, I want to join them on their station. Where can I sign in?
This was refreshing and unique erotic sci-fi romance. It is an entertaining story, full of mystery, brotherhood, sexy surprises, unexpected emotions, drama and more.
The author creates an amazing new world for sci-fi lovers. New races, cyborgs, ships, AI, humanoids, glowing princess and more are what awaits you here.
Serpint is a Bounty Hunter who travels around the space to collect/steal the princes. When he returns with Princess Lyra, thinking she is just another dull slave, he is in for a glowing surprise. Their relationship is quickly developing, and their sex seems to annihilate the Universe. But soon secrets are revealed, and nothing is like it used to be.
The main characters are fun, despite being different. I liked how their personality is shown through the conversation and their decisions and they are not perfect. Lyra is not some week female; she is strong and smart and determined. I loved every one of them, despite others being in the background, there is potential for their own stories and books. They are brothers but every one of them has their own secrets.
I liked how there was more story than sex. I liked the kinky scenes, but they are not all consuming. I don’t mind two cocks, but there was something similar in Victorious Star from Morgan Hawke and I was intrigued back then too.
Mostly I am curious about ALCOR, this advanced AI got my attention, I can’t wait to read more about it or him? He seems so real and human. A bit crazy so I am wondering where his story will go. He seems to know a lot but is keeping it for himself for his own purpose. What is his agenda? He is so old that there is so much knowledge in him and with the all available calculations it seems he knows all the possible outcomes. Some question was answered but so many are still open, so I am looking forward to reading more.
Anyway, I would definitely recommend this to sci fi romance lovers.
Holy mother of suns!
I’ve recently become a fan of SciFi romance. And I’m so glad I did because I got to read and experience this book! Great world building, awesome characters, and a storyline that makes me want to devour the whole series. This was sexy, it was entertaining, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Serpint can make me light up any. Day.
Being a JA Huss fan made it a no brainer when it came to indulging in her alter ego’s, KC Cross, new erotic science fiction series. Exploring the new world of Harem Station was a treat. It’s full of glowing princesses; sexy alien men with “unique equipment;” bots of every kind shape and form; AI life forms and so much more. Booty Hunter’s two main characters, Serpent and Lyra, will almost set your book on fire because they are so hot together. I had a lot of fun exploring this new world and look forward to reading more.
A sci-fi romance of epic proportions!
Despite the ridiculous title, cringe-worthy cover (which doesn’t even fit the character descriptions), and mildly subpar proofreading, I absolutely loved this book, and here’s why:
-Both main characters are remarkably well developed. You get inside their minds and really relate to them. Even the bots and AIs are so fun!
-The descriptions are thorough yet not overdone. It’s definitely not one of those books where you’re thinking, “OK, you’ve been describing the table in the corner for like three pages now…”
-Even though there is a lot of sex in this book, it is so unique it doesn’t even remotely take from the plot; in fact, it adds to it. The fact that the FMC glows just gets progressively more interesting. The plotline is just as well-developed as the characters are.
-The writing is just downright fantastic. Each chapter is structured beautifully in that flawless ‘upside-down pyramid’ style that is so important for creating a page-turner. I did a little bit of homework on the author, and now I see why. This woman knows what she’s doing. I’m so glad she ventured into this other pen name!
Now as I said, I didn’t care for the title or the cover, although I know the cover design in particular is common in this genre. But what is interesting is that this is my first venture into SF/PNR. I’m a big fan of both genres, but had never read them combined into one book. Well, now I will be doing so quite a bit. I randomly clicked on a BookBub ad for it, and even though I wasn’t particularly impressed by the cover or title, and, at the time, it only had one review, I was so impressed by the blurb, I had to try it out.
And I’m so glad I did. I will definitely be reading the others. And I will be watching out for other books by this author, for sure. Especially when I got to the end and saw she has vampire books!
I am a recent convert to all things sci-fi romance. Once I read a sci-fi romance last year I was hooked. And then proceeded to tell everyone I knew they needed to read the sub-genre too.
So what happens when one of my most favorite authors writes a sci-fi romance? I don’t hesitate. I one-click that b*tch faster than you can say two big, thick, juicy c*cks.
Let’s step back for a moment and examine what I just wrote. Imagine what those two big, thick c*cks could do to a woman. Especially one that glows so hard she could take down an entire universe.
This lady had to wear some shades while reading this book.
But I don’t want to give away the good parts *whispers* two c*cks *clears throat*.
There’s more to the story than just blinding orgasms and a whole lotta male pleasure parts.
There’s the best type of romance in my opinion – enemies to lovers. If that’s your crack, like it’s mine, then read this book. Serpint and Princess Lyra hated each other at first but then the two cocks and the glow and you know what I’m getting at.
The world building was perfection. I really felt like I was on Harem Station. As always, this author does a fantastic job creating realistic and believable characters that are as far from cookie-cutter as you could get. Even the bots had personality. It’s not easy to make outer space feel like a cool, faraway home that you desperately want to visit, but J.A. Huss made me want to explore Harem Station.
Read Booty Hunter because it’s sexy, the characters are amazing, and the story is totally addictive.
What’s that you say, SciFi Romance? Why yes, yes it is!
Mystery and intrigue wrapped up in pure, laugh-out-loud entertainment.
Welcome to Harem Space Station.
Throw in shining a light on social issues and challenges around living in peace with a mish mash of humanoids, bots, cyborgs and aliens, of all kinds, and it becomes a thought provoking and inspirational story with an underlying lesson on love and acceptance. Let’s not forget the fun…
Bravo! I’m off to find more!
KC Cross has begun an awesome sci-fi series. It is fantastic writing with an interesting storyline. The characters are enduring. The imagination it takes to create a new world is beyond me. The story was colorfully written, but with some somber moments. Can’t wait for the next book!
Loved this Booty! 4 stars
This is the first sci-fi/paranormal book by JA Huss under the pseudonym KC Cross, and I loved it! I was captivated by the world building and characters. I loved Serpint and Lyra together and separately. It was instant hate turned instant lust with sizzling chemistry. Lyra was a kick-a$$ woman and Serpint was an outlaw alien hunter with Alpha tendencies but together they light up the station! This author innately knows how to write characters and make me care about them, and I did care about all these characters. I even cared about the Artificial Intelligence! I can’t wait to continue this series!
I received a copy of this ebook from Xpresso Book Tours for my honest review.
