When the devastatingly gorgeous Nick Hart seeks me out after five long years, I had hoped he’d begin our conversation with an over-due apology, not an invitation to his bed.Apparently, nothing had changed about the arrogant athlete from high school—not his sculpted body, chocolate eyes, or his dream of making the professional football league. But raw talent and endless ambition only got him so … and endless ambition only got him so far. The one thing the unconquerable Nick Hart doesn’t have?
Me.
As the team nutritionist for the Ironfield Rivets, I’m the one shoving tofu up picky players’ end zones and serving quinoa to pouting punters. So, when Nick asks me to risk my job and sneak him into a private team try-out, I should say no.
But I need a favor of my own…
With my matchmaking mother rampaging through the city, searching jail cells and corner bars for a man desperate enough to date her voluntarily-single daughter, the only way I can focus on my career is to convince her that I’ve found the man of my dreams…who then breaks my heart. Nick’s perfect for the task—after all, he’s done it before.
But I won’t let him do it again.
No matter how close we get on the field.
No matter how much he wants to score.
No matter how deep he goes…
I’m not looking for a Happily-Ever-After, but when Nick reveals the truth about our Once-Upon-A-Time, can I forgive the past for a chance at a real fairy-tale?

Although the title gives a nod to the fairy tale classic, Booty and the Beast is definitely not your love at first sight story. Nick and Charisma have history from when they were school and it wasn’t full of smiley faces or beating heart emoji’s. Years later these two run into each other and it’s still not a joyous reunion, but both need favors from each other and they decide that even though it’s not the best solution, maybe they can make the best of their individual situations. Who knows, in the end they may even like each other.
Nick and Charisma’s story is full back and forth insults and witty banter that seems to be only a cover for how they really feel about each other. Charisma’s reaction to her mothers antics were funny and liked them both from the beginning. Now Nick, it took me awhile to warm up to. Once I got to the meat of the story I enjoyed both main characters and the story line kept me entertained and rooting for the couple to finally get what they both wanted, which in the end was each other.
Somehow I missed this series. This is the first book it from it that I’ve read, and I wasn’t lost, but you could definitely tell there was more to the story. Meaning background, other characters. Not that this book is a continuation of a cliffhanger book. This was on the longer side, but I enjoyed the length. The story never felt rushed. There were a handful of minor errors, but since I read an advance copy hopefully those things are fixed now. I like a good enemies to Lover’s, and the banter between these two was fantastic. I really liked both Nick and Charisma and love seeing their relationship play out

Rom Com at it’s best with Nick and Charisma’s second chance
Booty And The Beast by Sosie Frost is another remarkably well written romantic comedy by this author. She always delivers a highly engaging and entertaining read with laugh out loud moments, tension building to explosive chemistry, emotionally devastating heartbreak and a much deserved resolution in the form of the must have HEA.
Nick and Charisma are friends to enemies to mutual use to friends with benefits. These two have many things in common, being together without connecting or letting each other in being predominant. I really love these two together. Their history makes for an interesting plot to the development of their present, all the trials and triumphs in between, not to mention the hate and anger. Nobody writes righteous female anger better than Sosie Frost! Individually these characters are wonderful. Not only does Charisma live up to her name; she’s sassy, independent, strong and beautiful inside and out. Then there’s Nick. A bad boy alpha athlete with confidence, machismo and and determination in spades. He is the ultimate hero with his charm, flirting and panty melting dirty mouth.
Overall, a very well written book that is so much more than a romantic comedy; this couple has a lot of love once they allow themselves to have it by accepting the past, realizing they can have a future and welcoming their much deserved HEA.

Charisma was running from her past. In high school she was crushed by Nick and has spent the last 6 years not looking back. She has lost over 150 pounds that when Nick came back into town, he did not even recognize her at the local juice bar. Both had motives in need of help, she needed to get her mom off her back setting up dates(you will laugh at how insane Charismas family really is and why she runs from them) and Nick wants to walk on the Rivets football team. When Charisma realizes Nick has slept in his beat up truck, she invites him into her home. There should be no harm in faking a relationship, can there? Two people so much alike break each others hearts but in the end, Nick realizes he needs her in his life. He can make football and Charisma his everything.

Love Charisma and Nick’s story. Love how they connected with each other and how they overcome the obstacles in their lives.
Favorite quote: Charisma ~ “We were two lonely, self-exiling, self-destructive people, and the only hope we’d ever find would be in each other’s arms. Only then could two broken people be made whole.”
3.5 stars
I really enjoyed the previous books in this series, but just couldn’t connect with this one as much. I didn’t really care for Nick, or the back and forth between the two main characters. I loved the glimpses into the lives of the other couples in this series. There were also some moments that had me smiling. Overall this was an okay read for me.
This book is just what I needed… a second chance romance with a blend of heartbreak, obstacles, family drama, witty banter, explosive chemistry, LOL moments, sexual tension, forgiveness, and lots of feels.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Nick and Charisma go way back – to Highschool. A very entertaining, hilarious and wonderful story of two people who can’t stand each other but nevertheless fall for each other in the progress of helping each other achieve their goals. The back and forth dialogues not only the two of them share are very Frost-style and a superb plus in top of the Frost-cake.
OMG!! I freaking loved this book. The banter/flirting between Nick and Charisma was off the charts. I thought Nick was just too sexy honey. The only thing I didn’t like was her mother bringing random men to her house. She was working my last nerve. Overall I would recommend anyone to read this book.

Terrific story, if you like hate-sex and anger described as love.
I’ll start with the positives: this dialogue-driven story is well-written, engaging, and definitely kept me reading. Charisma is a strong female lead, one who’s overcome a lot to create the life she has, even though she deserves more. It consists almost entirely of witty repartee between Charisma and Nick, with the author’s trademark array of outrageous secondary characters and situations that intentionally go way over the top.
Even so, I can’t say I liked this book. Nick was a real hard character to tolerate. He was shallow and immature, especially in the beginning. His initial scene has him acting like the guys that our book heroines usually have to move beyond before they get to the book boyfriend. He’s constantly fat-shaming her past self, which apparently is perfectly acceptable because he’s wildly attracted to her thinner self now. I kept hoping he’d redeem himself by the end of the book, but that redemption fell flat and far short of the mark. I almost quit reading entirely after the scene where he publicly humiliates her, says he did it for her own good, and her response, after her fury subsides, is to agree with him. Never have I read where a male character deserved to be slapped more.
And while I can understand her appreciation for vegetables now that she’s a nutritionist, the scene with the carrot is full-on cringe-worthy and degrading to her character.
Their “romance” really was just mutual lust, fueled only by constant arguing, teasing punishments, and emotions that were only intense when they were focused on how much they hated each other. She really can’t find anything to like about him other than how drop-dead gorgeous he is, and of course his feelings for her are entirely focused on how beautiful she is now that she’s not as heavy as she was in high school.
How their supposed love for each other grew in such a desolate environment is a mystery to me. Still, they do get their HEA, and it seems that nothing remains to be forgiven since all their (mis)behavior was appropriate and healthy all along.
Since we all know that women never struggle with weight and body image issues, I’m sure this story will resonate with its intended audience. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
After being bullied because of her weight and suffering through a particular humiliating experience thanks to her high school crush/friend Nick. Charisma is shattered and determined to change her life and she does, by becoming a svelte plant-eating nutritionist for the Ironfield Rivets. Guess who wants to use her connection to the team for a team try-out? Charisma won’t make it easy although there is practically nothing Nick won’t do for the opportunity to show off his many considerable talents. Even meeting the hands-y females in her family. Lots of laugh out loud moments that only Sosie Frost can deliver on a fast and furious basis. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this delightful tale of two people discovering what’s really important (love) in life when they weren’t looking for it.

I just loved this book I have to admit my kids think I have lost the plot because this book just cracked me up at times. I just loved Nick and Charisma they were great characters and so darn cute together I do understand her feelings towards him in the beginning though as he was not kind to her in school. This was such a fun read.
Nick and Charisma haven’t been on the best of terms since he bullied her back in high school. Now years later Nick turns up asking for a favor and is stunned by how Charisma looks now. Charisma worked hard to lose weight and now she is the nutritionist for a pro football team. Nick is trying to get back on the pro team circuit but is having some troubles so when he learns what Charisma does for a living he wants to try his hand at convincing her to help him. Will Charisma forgive and forget enough to help Nick get back what he’s always dreamed of doing? Can they be together?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I really enjoyed Charisma and Nick’s story. At first, I wasn’t sure I would like him. I couldn’t believe the crazy nonsense he was sprouting out of his mouth when he was talking to Charisma about Charisma. The changes I saw in him and the development of their relationship was great.

Charisma works as a nutritionist for the Rivets, Nick is obsessed with playing football for team. They know each other from their high school days when she was an overweight teen that was being teased. In the end they both need each other she needs a fake boyfriend to get her mom off her back in exchange to help him in his quest to play the sport he loves. The banter between these two was hilarious.
