Every book in this series is an amazing read and this one is another 5star.

Booth – This was a great book. I loved the connection between Booth and Jade. I loved Jade and how much of a complete bada*se she is. She knows her own mind, has some mild alpha powers and kicks a*se and takes names. I loved that Booth allowed Jade to make her own decision in regards to staying with the Shaw Pride after she knew that Talon wouldn’t allow the females to become Guardians as they have to enter in the dominance fights and the mated males could go feral if they see their female being hurt, even if it’s by another female. I loved Booth’s attempt at wooing Jade and their date was really cute, since neither of them had really done it before. I’m glad that he never forced her to become his mate as he knew she wouldn’t be happy. They’re both completely stubborn so getting them to agree to something is a miracle, well apart from them both deciding that they don’t want to touch as mating isn’t for them. I loved that Booth totally respected Jade’s awesomeness and that she’s completely capable of fighting her own battles even if it goes against his instincts to allow females to protect themselves. I think it was cool that after all the thinking Talon did and the discussions with both Liberty and Jade he finally decided to allow the females the title of protector and they’re held to the same rank as Guardians but they don’t have to enter the fight for dominance, so hopefully it’ll stop the males from going feral and give the females an honoured role/rank within the Pride allowing them to protect themselves and the Pride. I wonder what they’ll end up deciding since Talon gave them 5 days to let him know if being a Protector is acceptable. I loved getting snippets of Noah and Landon throughout the book and can’t wait to read their story next. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
Oh I hope you are ready for some amazing characters in this book. Booth who is a guardian for the pride has met his challenge. Booth is a very protective of the females of the pride but he respects the ones that want to help protect and learn to fight. Jade shows up to the Shaw Pride to ask to participate in the guardianship fights. Wait What!! OH YEAH, we got a tough female coming to shake things up. Not just with the pride but with Booth too. Jade is one of my favorite characters cause of her take not crap from anyone. However, she has some secrets that come out towards the end. It’s a W. T. F. moment when all that comes out. Booth struggles with his feelings which makes him more real. I wonder what fate has in store for these two. I will say that I was totally worried about getting that HEA but we did.
Read in order. Paranormal at its best. Well written, kick butt strong alpha female lead, funny moments, twist, sexy alpha male,.
This is the ninth book in this series. They should be read in order. I loved this book. I read it in one sitting.
Booth is a guardian. He has watched those around him find their mate. He has helped train some of the females of the pride. Someone new has come to the pride, Jade O’Connor. Jade has come to the Shaw pride because of rumors she has heard that the Shaw Pride are allowing female guardians. They aren’t. The females do help guard the pride but they are not guardians. They are mates but won’t touch as they don’t want a mate, but each day it gets harder to ignore.
Another five star read in this series. I can’t wait for Noah and Landon’s book. I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review, and I plan to buy this book when it becomes available.
I LOVE all of the books in this Rise of the Pride Series and Booth’s book is no exception. I immediately fell in love with Jade and her strength, independence, determination and willingness to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. Like all of the mated women in the Shaw Pride, Jade is a warrior and certainly knows how to protect and defend herself, as well as others. As much as I love Jade, Liberty is still my favorite female….I think They’re both feisty, strong and aren’t afraid to speak their minds and I LOVE that! Booth is stubborn, like most of the males in the Shaw Pride, but he’s also a loyal and caring man and how can you not love a man like that…..We all flaws. In the real world and yes, even in the wonderful fiction world of shifters that Theresa has created for our enjoyment! I don’t want to give away any spoilers so I’ll end my review by saying, how much I loved and enjoyed reading this book and I definitely recommend this book and the entire Series. I can’t wait for the next book in this fantastic series that I have fallen in love with since the very first book, Talon.
Finally got a warrior woman that fights like an MMA fighter. Jade is good enough to be a Guardian. Her Alpha punished her for learning to fight. So she ran to where she thought they would accept her.. But will Talon and the prides Guardians allow it? ” The scent she carried was that of a Guardian…a warrior. Wherever this woman came from, she was trained. ” Please read this book. It is a fantastic story. Lots of action and suspenseful adventure. From a True Fan… Pam James
Unexpected surprises
Booth has been a Guardian with the Pride for going on close to ten years. When he’s called into the Alpha’s office he is surprised to hear that they should be expecting a new arrival in the form of a female who wants Guardianship with the Shaw Pride. When Jade arrives, Booth’s Panther is close to the surface and when he’s asked to train with her, they both can’t deny they might be mates….but neither is willing to touch the other due to their future goals
This was another fantastic story with some good old fashioned surprises I didn’t see coming Looking forward to Noah and his HEA next
I loved this story!! I have read the entire series and have been waiting for this one! (And Noah’s story) I think this series just gets better and better. Booth and Jade are quite a pair. Both trying to NOT find their mate and both knowing they are it for each other. Jade is a kick ass female and so passionate about her dreams to be the first female Guardian. Talon has some tough decisions to make for the pride and in the end stands by his principals. But is ever so slightly swayed by his mate Liberty’s female perspective. A compromise and an HEA awaits!
This is Book 9 in the Rise of the Pride series. I swear these books just keep getting better and better! What a great book. Jade has left her old pride and come to the Shaw pride because of a rumor that the Shaw pride accepted female fighters. There she meets Booth. OMG!!! This is my favorite book in the series so far. Jade is awesome. She’s has so much inner strength that she sets out to make her dream come true. And Booth. I want Booth. There, I admitted it. He’s going to be my next book boyfriend. He’s stubborn and hard headed but pushes through his beliefs to do what Jade wants. This was so good. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good paranormal romance.
