Enjoyed the unpredictable genre, but felt it floundered and lost its footing at the end.
Rather an odd book, but it caught you up in it and kept you turning the pages till the end. An unusual story, well told.
At first I thought I wouldn’t get into the story, but then it grabbed me and I had to know what would happen next
Excellent read!! Have already recommend to a couple of friends.
This book was very different. You don’t know what is coming next. It is a sad tell, but I’m glad I read it. Did I mention it was very different.
From beginning to end, this book was unique. I really enjoyed it and recommend it to all.
Did not like this book. It isn’t the type of book I would usually read.
Such a great read. Emotional and well written.
this book was excellent
This book was quite vivid and sinister from time to time. The book was quite suspenseful, aside from the ending which was substandard. A good read, nonetheless.
Really enjoyed it
I seldom leave negative reviews of books, taking the author’s hard work into consideration. However, this book rates up there with one of the worst I’ve read in a long time. It was such a drawn out story that could have been told in a chapter or two, maybe less. The author taps into so many controversial topics: lesbianism, child theft and purchasing, death, incest, murder, depression, crooked lawyers, yet never really decides which way to turn with these topics. I almost stopped reading ⅓ of the way through the book, but decided to keep going. Should have stopped then. Hindsight- not worth the time.
I enjoyed reading this sad but meaningful story.
I enjoyed the twists! Kept me guessing.
Interesting read but disappointing ending.
Really original story. Great characters.thoroughly enjoyed it.
Very British presentation which was an interesting character development.
I purchased the book because I liked the sample. Once I got beyond that the story became far fetched.
Unremarkable
Well written, well thought out, well presented. Made you care about the characters.
