Isobel Yates is a single mom with no time for romance, but the Goddess has other plans for her. Hail is a Dark Kindred. Since emotions are outlawed on his home world, he is learning to feel now that he lives on the Mother Ship. Strong emotions are bad news, though–they bring out the part of his DNA that is Bolaxian Beast, a race of beings known for their fierce breeding lust. Isobel is afraid to …
Isobel is afraid to trust the huge Kindred warrior with her heart and the safety of her young son but when fate throws them together, she has no choice. When Hail’s beast comes out, will Isobel run from him…or bond with him?
You’ll have to read Bonding with the Beast to find out…
Please note: There is a bit of rough sex in this book–well, what can you expect from a book called Bonding with the Beast, right? : ) Anyway, I wanted to warn anyone who is bothered by this sort of thing and assure you there is also tender lovemaking as well. Please read responsibly!

I just can’t get enough of the kindred!
Gerri Wilder has nothing on the Goddess! The Goddess of the Kindred knows what her people need and she has made it her mission to make sure they it, or really them. I love how Hail not only accepts his love for Isobel, but he accepts her son Brandon. Even with a brief unscheduled field trip and a crazy ex, the Goddess’ will is done as these two make their way to each other and the love of a lifetime. So many Kindred and so few time to read them all.
Bonding with the Beast — Evangeline Anderson — Isobel Yates is a single mom of a little boy on the spectrum. Brandon is bright, but Autism wasn’t something her ex husband was willing to learn to have a relationship with his son. When Mitch got violent, Isobel got them out. When an alien version of Marine Special Forces named Commander Hail shows up to escort Isobel into space to see her friends on a space station, Isobel, Hail, and Brandon all confess to having seen each other in dreams. Apparently, aliens have a matchmaking goddess. When Hail and Isobel bond in traumatic circumstances, Hail runs scared. But when he senses that something is not right on Earth, is he going to be in time to save Isobel and Brandon? I’ve never been big on aliens, but this was well done if a little weird! Happy Reading!
Don’t you JUST love the models the author gets for the cover. They are so yummie, just want to stroke their faces and purr.
An excellent story. I always enjoy them so much. The author has such an imagination. She can shock me with some of the things she has been able to come up with. It is always a pleasure to see what and how she will get her characters into and out of next. The little gray men was strange. I have another one of her stories so I will see you later.
Hail is a Dark Kindred who doesn’t believe he will ever have a mate. Part of his DNA is Bolaxian Beast which can get quite enthralled with breeding lust. Believing he would hurt his mate he doesn’t seek one out but when he is asked to escort human Isosbel Yates to the mother ship, his emotions want more from her. It is an unfamiliar feeling but he wants Isobel and to help raise her son. However Isobel believes she needs to put her son first after her ex was cruel to them both but mostly her autistic son. What happens though when their flight goes awry and Isobel sees how protective Hail is of her?
There is a lot more to this but didn’t want to put to many spoilers out. I liked this one quite a bit. I thought Isobel was what every mom should be. Hail is intriguing and I liked how his back story unfolded. Another great read from the Kindred series.
Hail was a very interesting character in that for most of his life he was essentially and emotionless, almost mindless slave. Watching him learn to live and feel was a treat. His bonding with Brandon, Isobel’s son, was extremely sweet. Isobel turned out to be very accepting and open and that’s exactly what Hail needed. I was very happy to see these three get their happy ending.
I love everything about this series, and this was one of my favorites. I cant wait for the next one and thank you Evangeline Anderson!!
Rated R for language. Rated X for explicit sex.
This is an alien/human romance with interesting characters.
Short and sizzling, I love this series. Isobel is a divorcee who has escaped an abusive relationship and fled across the country with their son. Hail is a dark kindred sent to pick her up to visit her friend on the mother ship. There is an instant connection when meeting as they have been dreaming about each other.
I love how this story unfolded, two totally opposite people coming together. As well as the sensitivity of touching on a boy with Autism.
So beautiful, I highly recommend it.
A new type of Kindred bride: a single mom. Awesome. And I liked Hail. Immensely. Great, short read!
I love everything Kindred I can’t seem to get enough of this series. This short but fast paced story was enjoyable and entertaining. I love how this story unfolded and how to opposite attract and through everything they both got the HEA they deserve. Can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out. I voluntarily read and review this ARC I haven’t been compensated in any way.
Enjoyed reading this book, it has a great storyline. Can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE copy to read voluntarily for an honest review.
good book
One of my favorite authors. Ms. Anderson does not disappoint.
