This is an interesting story with strong characters in Tam and Nissa. The author does a great job developing the story and had me glued to the pages with all the danger as well as the sizzling sex scenes and growing love. It’s well written, moves quickly and smoothly and is an entertaining read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Okay! I’m advocating right now! If you haven’t read this book go read it! I nearly broke in half about half way through but damn was that ever a good story!
The spice was 100% there and it was wonderful but the spice was nothing compared to the excellent plot! Like I want to read the story all over again for the first time good!
This is only like my third or fourth alien novel but my first Genesis Keys novel and it was so darn good! The idea of the “serum” might be a trigger for some but I just love a good story and darn if this wasn’t.
Walk your booty to a computer and buy this book because it’s so good and you won’t regret it!
I absolutely adored this book!! The author creates a fascinating world with great characters. I loved Tam and Nissa. Tam comes from a planet that has lost most of its women. Nissa comes from a planet that was terrorized and taken over by another race. Their story has danger, angst, steamy scenes and lots of love. I couldnt put this book down and I can’t
Wait to read the next one in the series!!
Trianni red, Argenti blue – Tam and Nissa make their world anew
I enjoyed this story of true love, sex addiction, and the conflict between duty and desire. When Tam the warrior bonds Nissa the future queen of the Trianni, it is to save her life. The chemical nature of his bond is addictive, and the bond is permanent. Nissa enjoys the bond, and her intensely sexual relationship with Tam, but her destiny as the future queen is inescapable. If she chooses to honor her people’s expectations of her, and breaks the bond, it will mean suffering and perhaps death. If she remains with Tam, she will betray her father the king, her people who need her so desperately, and the very purpose for which her life was saved. The level of angst is off the charts, with both Nissa and Tam embroiled in one ethical dilemma after another, doomed to misery no matter what happens. Both are sympathetic and likable characters, both are ill-equipped by education and life experience to face their challenges, and both are good-hearted people who want to do the right thing, no matter how it hurts. Both are also blessed with others who know them and care about them, and the author’s ingenious use of secondary characters to engineer the couple’s HEA is both suspenseful and touching. Triannon becomes a challenging and believable world, but I would have liked more backstory on Tam’s tribe, the Argenti, and their world as well. Fans of teamy sex scenes will be gratified, as will those who look for the HEA ending and the triumph of true love. I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC of this book; the opinion expressed here is my own, and I totally recommend this book.
