My fate is commanded by a dragon. He’s the one who helped me escape the fairy queen. I thought I was free. But instead of letting me go… This sculpted rock of a man made me his prisoner. He had an impossible condition. I would help him get his revenge in exchange for my freedom. But his piercing eyes made me wonder if I even wanted to leave. One touch and I knew I belonged to his man. I knew I … even wanted to leave.
One touch and I knew I belonged to his man.
I knew I was never meant to have him.
But the curve of his dangerous smile imprisoned me more than I already was.
How am I going to escape now?

Wow! What a great read! This book is different than the previous books, but just as good. The submersion you usually feel when reading a great story is intensified with this book. Val’s pain becomes your own, along with her confusion, sadness, friendship, joy and love. It may take her and Grant a while to get their act together and find the path to their HEA, but when they do the results are explosive. I loved this book and can’t wait to read the next one in the series.
New to me author…
I am just reading this series and it’s book three.
However, with that being said this is one fantastic story.
A Fairy? or is she? Holding the Angel of Death hostage?
And the big bad Dragon comes to the save the day? Well maybe not.
I loved Grant and once he gets Val to open up she is likable.
You get a bit of everything from high impact action, suspense and oh yea a bit of hotness too… Everything a paranormal book lover loves to read. Grab it and find out.
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

WoW, Grant is one heck of a white dragon & Val, she’s badass too. This story really revolves around trust & Val’s purpose in this new life. There are hints throughout this book that Val plays a pivotal role in the fight to eradicate The Devourer. There are also many cameos by outside sources planting seeds to ensure this worlds survival.
This one for me was a bit harder to get involved in. However, once I figured out where I was and what was happening, it was enthralling. I loved this story. The internal conflict Val was constantly fighting was what made this so interesting. Grant seemed to understand Val more than she understood herself. The closeness they shared once she realized he didn’t want to just use her for her powers was heartwarming. I loved how she used her powers and Grant was amazed with it as well. This was a wonderful addition to the Dragon Lords series. I can’t wait til she runs into her friend Lana after being dead and all. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
I like this story. It is a very enjoyable and entertaining read with at the edge of your seat moments and breath taking scenario and challenges thrown in makes a great read
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. You have a girl locked into servitude. A dragon bent on revenge. but he has a hidden agenda in helping the girl. its entertaining overall a good read.
This was a fun and quick paranormal romance about a demon of death (?!?) and a dragon with an agenda for vengeance. Is he using her or will he set her free?
I enjoyed this book and the plot, though there were some extraneous parts that I didn’t think were necessary (like the some of the scene in the car at the beginning of the book). It’s frustrating, also, that it is never quite clear what Val is, though at the end they given you a definition. I still don’t know what that intails.

This is an emotional, exciting, intense, dramatic, suspenseful romance. They both have baggage and need each other. But it is a very bumpy road to get there. These two have a hot, emotional romance. I loved it. I voluntarily review a copy for booksprout.
Vengeance
If you enjoy dragons, Shen, and family challenges to the death you just might want to read this book. There are definitely other things going on in the story but I thought to provide you with just a hint.
He held her escape them and he would let her leave if she help him to get his revenge. She will help him and she finds herself wondering if she will leave. He is so strong. Will she want to leave him? Will he allow her to leave? See if she does leave

This is different. Even though we are a little familiar with the female character I still feel like I am coming in the middle of a ongoing story. I like the connection between these two. This is another good quick fun dragon story. I listened to this on audio. Victoria Mei was again wonderful. She is very easy to listen to.
I read and enjoyed this book as part of the Dragon Lovers Box Set. Dragon Lovers by Kara Lockharte is a box set of the following three book: Betrothed to the Dragon, Belonging to the Dragon, and Bonded to the Dragon. Each book is a stand alone story featuring a specific couple but all three books are part of one overall incredible story. These characters are unusual and the individual books are so compelling, I couldn’t put them down until I finished them all. I fell in love with every character in this series while reading it and especially loved the way all the characters that were featured in the first book continued to be part of the overall story throughout all the books. This book is a wonderful read that anyone who enjoys reading about magic, magical creatures, and dragons will love. Bonded to the Dragon is an amazing book full of magic and romance.
Third book in the mini-series and this one is a little bit different than the first two bringing some new faces into the story. Val was the friend that Lana was trying to save in the last book, but ultimately had to kill to save her from The Devourer. But the Fairy Queen Titania uses her Shen magic to resurrect her to serve as a vengeance demon and then barters her away to a dragon to use to get his sister back from The Angel of Death. Grant is a very old and very powerful dragon set on revenge. When he meets Val, her inner strength and view of vengeance not to mention the attraction her feels towards her begins to thaw his heart. But Val isn’t exactly what everyone thinks she is, and she just might end up being the key to defeating The Devourer once and for all. If you read the previous stories in this series you’ll see some familiar faces in this story in addition to Val and Grant. It’s full of action and fast-paced with some surprising twists plus a sizzling romance full of a wide range of emotions.
two lost souls
This series keeps getting better and better! its an emotional roller coaster!! fast pace filled with action and romance! each can be read as a standalone but so much better if you read them all! it always features a new couple
This book is different to the first two books but just as good. It is an enjoyable short read, that I throughly enjoyed. The story is written in a way that Val’s pain feels as if its your own. It’s great that the book draws a you in this way. I throughly enjoyed this read.

This is a fairly short read that is full of action, adventure and romance. The chemistry between Grant and Val is amazing and shows in their dialogue with each other. There is a lot of story in these pages and if you enjoy dragon shifters then you shall probably want to add this to your to read list. I really liked even though this is part of a series you can easily read it as a stand alone. You can really feel Val’s struggle with what she believes she wants vs what she might want, while you see Grant try and draw her out to see who and what she is as well as try not to care for her. I haven’t read the previous book but I will be now!!

Dragons and Shen are an interesting mix and not always for the good of one or the other. A young woman brought back to life by none other than Titania, Queen of the Shen as a “vengeance demon” who can not die again , gets traded off to a Dragon who manages to get the best of the Queen. The dragon’s sister was kidnapped out from under Titania’s protection and this trade is supposedly to balance the scales of her being lost. The Dragon wants the young woman to help him get his sister back. Along the way they fall for each other, but will love set them free from the past and allow them to have a future together?

Yep! It’s a winner. This is the third(?) book in the series and since I’ve read the other two can’t comment on whether it works as a stand-alone. In any case, the first two are worth reading.
Great characters with lots of heat and an uphill battle against evil. Fast and easy read, you’ll enjoy seeing the characters learn to work together. She’s no wimp which is good because he is a dragon shifter. There is magic and some pay back. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
