Lexie Greene has always had such a pretty face.
Unfortunately, that’s where it seemed to stop. She’s grown up hearing her Mother constantly remind her that she needs to lose weight. And twenty-two-year-old Lexie knows she’s overweight.
With her younger sister’s wedding on the horizon and a crush to stalk on Facebook, Lexie’s had enough. She gives up her constant daydreams about food and joins a … about food and joins a dieting group. As the pounds melt away at the gym, she finds that life on the other side of junk food isn’t what she thought.
Bon Bons to Yoga Pants is an inspirational hit about a girl coming to terms with herself, and her past, all while navigating a world of food and fitness.

Worth a read
Sort of helped with some motivation to start dieting for the right reasons
you can easily put yourself in book
A sweet story of self doubt that leads to strength, support and success.
Frustrating sometimes but in a good way.
I have no idea how many stars to give this book. If it is solely on how well I enjoyed it then it has to go down to one star. If it is how well written it is, then I probably need to go up to four stars. I just plain hated the subject matter. Perhaps because I felt guilt through so much of it as I read it. In a way it was motivating to get up and do something or eat better but at the same time I just wanted to snack my way through it. ha ha.
I know that the moral of the story is that size doesn’t matter so much as health and how you feel about yourself but I still felt like I was being judged because I am overweight. Not as overweight as Lexie and I don’t binge eat like she did but I do stress-eat. And so perhaps because I could relate too much to Lexie I felt guilt and judgement.
A bit different from the genre stories, totally entertaining and fun.
This book. It broke my heart, inspired me, gave me joy, and made my cry from joy and heartbreak and love. This book hit me hard. The main character may as well have been me. Anyone who has ever struggled with weight loss or self esteem will find a part of themselves in the main character. This book shook my soul and changed my life.
I thought this was a very good book. I have not read any other books like this. It has a unique story line. The writer portrayed very graphically the struggle that fat people go through. In a funny way, I found this book inspirational.
As a fellow fat-kid at heart, this book really spoke to me. It was so encouraging and I fell in LOVE with the characters. They all had their quirks which made them that much more endearing. I even found myself wanting to work out and get healthier. On top of that lex’s obsession with her online guy and inner ramblings to herself were VERY relatable! Fantastic read!
Enjoyed this very much
Very funny and relatable! Loved it!
It was a good book, with a happy, romantic ending
A fun read.
Accurate journey of weight loss told in an interesting way.
If you have weight issues and want a bit of motivation this is a good read. The adventures of the main character are fun and realistic.
Thoroughly entertaining!
This girl’s journey through weight loss and getting healthy was revealing, funny, heartfelt and hopeful. I had to pace myself not to speed read! I’m so glad I did though, because in that thoughtfulness I learned some stuff about me too that I would not have had I binge read it. Thank you!
Fantastic book! It is a page turner as you watch the physical and psychological transformation of the main character. Doesn’t hurt that she meets the man of her dreams.
Loved It!
Great story about a young woman getting her life and weight under control.
Inspirational and uplifting without being preachy.
