The number 1 New York Times–bestselling author is back with an electrifying new entry in the FBI series featuring Savich and Sherlock.FBI Special Agent Griffin Hammersmith, last seen in Backfire, has been recruited by Dillon Savich to join his unit in Washington, D.C. Savich sees something special in Hammersmith, an almost preternatural instinct for tracking criminals. While on his way to D.C., … criminals.
While on his way to D.C., Hammersmith plans to visit his sister, Delsey, a student at Stanislaus School of Music in Maestro, Virginia. Before he arrives, he gets a phone call that Delsey was found naked, unconscious, and covered with blood after a wild party. The blood isn’t hers—so who does it belong to?
Meanwhile, back in D.C., Savich and Sherlock have their hands full when the grandson of former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank is found murdered, every bone in his body broken, and frozen at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial.
Was Savich right—is Griffin gifted with a unique ability to “see” how criminals think? And will he figure out who was behind the attempt on Delsey’s life—before it’s too late?

A very enjoyable read. It keep me wanting to know what was going to happen next.
All of Catherine Coulter’s books are Sit on the edge of your chair good. I’ve read all of her suspense books and recommend them all.
Catherine Coulter has developed a series that contains wonderful characters. Suspense filled, but, what I always want from my books, endings where the good guys triumph.
Not sure how I feel about this book. You have to like this sort of story. It is not my cup of tea.
I have all of her FBI series love them. Page turner. If you plan on reading start with the maze the first book of series then go from there.
Catherine Coulter did it again. The story was intriguing and suspenseful. I love Savich and Sherlock and loved the other characters as well. Keep them coming, Catherine!
An easy to read story.

Love Coulters FBI novels. Very interesting with unexpected quirks
Good plot, good charactors, Good Book!
This was one of my first coulter novels , and I quickly became addicted to everything she writes. The pace is good, no crappy space fillers, keeps my interest, is not predictable
Was very good and easy to read, but thought the ending was not quite as
dramatic as it should have been. My first Ann Coulter book I have read’ and was not disappointed. Will keep my eye out for more on Book Bub !
Very good read

I have read all of Catherine Coulter’s books. I like her stories and characters. They come alive and you can’t get enough about them. I read one of her books and want to start the next one and hate having to wait for the next one to come out. She is an exceptional author and her books are action packed, page-turner and realistic. I can’t say enough about this author and her writing.
