It was supposed to be a simple job….Go to the Winston Isles, they said. Be a double for a billionaire, they said. Well nothing is ever simple.I was supposed to collect my cash and go home. Easy right? Wrong! When my carefully constructed plan goes awry, and my billionaire double goes missing, I have no choice but to hire a smart mouthed, tight assed bodyguard.Zia Barnes is the last thing I need or … is the last thing I need or want. Lord that woman has a mouth on her. She’s also determined, smart, and has no idea I’m an imposter.
Good thing I have no intention on falling for her, or else I’d be royally screwed.

Sexy as hell story, as I’ve come to expect from Nana Malone. I cannot get enough of this series, from the characters to the storylines. Always keeps me interested with good pacing and character development. Nana always keeps you guessing right up to the end.
There are several unique concepts in this book and I have totally enjoyed all of them. First, we have doing the wrong thing for all the right reasons. I think we’ve all been there. Second, is a badass petite woman. It’s refreshing to see a smaller woman who has more than enough power, emotionally, physically and maturity wise. Third, it made me think of a different spin on The Prince and the Pauper. These are just the uniques aspect. Let’s travel through the others aspects of this book that made me enjoy this story.
There’s the instant chemistry between the main characters. Who hasn’t had that feeling in a moment, even if its only one sided? The evolution of the characters watching the growth individually and together. You get intrigue. I’ve developed several theories while reading the story and can’t wait to see if any of them pan out. We get to become reacquainted with characters from past books. That is one of my favorite parts because life doesn’t stop at the end. Who doesn’t want to know what happens to our favorite characters? Even if it’s several months or years we also want to keep in touch with our best friend. It’s always fun to reconnect. How many times do you think back to one of your favorite books and wonder how they’re doing wishing there was a follow up? Throw in the fact that this is part of a duet. It gives me something to look forward to.
Zia and Theo try to deny themselves and do the right thing with regard to job, life and emotions but when those nasty little hormones take hold it’s hard to think with your head and overrule your heart. The banter between the two is quick, charming and will put a smile on your face and at times go right to your heart.
The heat is on in this book but it’s not lascivious or gratuitous. It’s steamy, but it’s also lovely. The intrigue and mystery keeps you guessing and the bonds between family and friends is one you wishful could be part of. All in all it’s a really good book and I can’t wait for the next one to see if any of my theories pan out. Stay tuned! Better yet read this book and form your own conclusions. It’s like a game of Clue but only with gorgeous people with all kinds of gadgets instead of a candlestick in the library by Mrs. Peacock!
Deception has explosive consequences for two hearts caught in the cross hairs of attraction. Malone pulls a fast one on hearts everywhere with Bodyguard to the Billionaire. Zia finally gets her chance to shine. She’s prepared for anything except falling in love. Zia, Theo and Derrick find themselves in a convoluted web that could spell an unhappy ending for more than just them. The Billionaire Duet begins with a topsy turvy game of danger, deception and heat. What a great start to a rollercoaster of a romance.
Another great beginning of a duet for Nana Malone! I loved reading and following the start of Zia and Theo’s story and look forward to the next book.
Mystery, intrigue, and a great fun story!
So far I love everything about Zia & Theo. I like the mystery behind what’s going on at the company, who knows about the switch up & who’s trying to kill them. I love having all my favorite Winston Isles characters make appearances. & oh my god, that ending!!!
From the Winston Isles, Nana Malone has once again given us readers another royal couple to fall in live with. Derrick is not just a Royal, but a billionaire who needs protection and Zia is the perfect knight for the job. The chemistry between Derrick and Zia is off the charts and the inner dialogue is “on point”. As Derrick and Zia get closer both find themselves in the position of protecting their hearts as well as their lives. This is a fun, flirty story with cameo appearances from Team Winston Isles and Royal Elite and the right amount of heat and heart. This being a duet, I knew there was another part to the story, but this books ending has my mind in overdrive thinking of what comes next. Loved it!
I don’t know how Nana Malone does it; but she has another 5 + book with Bodyguard to the Billionaire.
Derrick Arlington is a rude, pompous ass. So when Zia is put in charge of protecting him, she is intrigued with the version of the man she meets. But after two failed kidnapping attempts and some very out of character good deeds, Zia is starting to question the man who insists she call him Theo in bed.
Mystery abounds in Bodyguard to the Billionaire. The Winston Royal Family and King’s Knights all join in the latest adventure to come to the shores of the Winston Isles.
I read an ARC of Bodyguard to the Billionare, absolutely loved it, and willingly left this honest review!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Zia and Derrick, or rather his Doppelgänger Theo are about to work together in her way of her being his bodyguard due to an attempted kidnapping during Roone’s reception party. To keep him safe and alive she’s going to be his pretent-girlfriend. And while doing so, they find their way to each other. So when the real Derrick never answers Theo’s calls he knows something might just not be as it is supposed to be.
A very sweet story, though you keep wondering why no-one realises that Derrick is not the real Derrick.
What a fun story, Nana Malone gave mystery, intrigue and suspense. I can’t believe I have to wait for Sept. for the conclusion. HEAVY SIGH!!! I have a funny feeling it’s going to be worth the wait. In my opinion Nana Malone does not disappoint in this book. In my opinion Nana Malone knows how to write series stories and manages to make them all unique. Nana Malone grabbed my attention in chapter one and kept me turning the pages till the end. I can honestly say I’m not sure who is behind what in this book, I have a couple of ideas, but I’m not sure. It unusual for me not to have things figured out by the end of the first book, so I give Nana Malone a well done on that. I love Zia and her love for her family, her protectiveness and her willingness to put everything on the line for the ones she cares about. I like Theo and his love for his mom. Even though he is doing something that he knows is a bad idea, appreciate him wanting to follow through. In my opinion Zia and Theo have a lot of similar qualities. Nana Malone brought in few characters from previous royals series, that’s always fun. She introduces a couple of new royals and I foresee at least three more series to come. In my opinion if you are a Nana Malone fan I would recommend the series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy.
I enjoyed this book immensely! I was drawn into the storyline from the beginning. Nana Malone did a great job building this world and the believable characters who inhabit it.
Be warned – THIS BOOK HAS A CLIFFHANGER!
Okay…warning out of the way…let’s continue.
I liked Theo/Derrick from the get-go. His frustration on many levels was palpable but I was frustrated that he didn’t tell Zia, who was his bodyguard, the complete truth. I really like that Zia, the female protagonist, was a complete badass! So refreshing.
I didn’t care for Zia’s needy spoiled little sister and was glad when Theo stepped in and set her straight.
I normally don’t like and/or read cliffhangers, but I highly recommend this one. I’m looking forward to see how this one gets resolved!
I was provided an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review
This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and holy I loved it! Seemed like a simple job, impersonate a billionaire, who seemed to look exactly like Theo and be him for a month. But as we read nothing is that simple, even if your a billionaire. Zia is meant to protect Theo, not fall in love with him. But these two after spending so much time with each other, can’t seem to not fall in love. So many secrets, lies and I can’t wait for the next book to find out the truths.
This book was an interesting addition to the Nana Malone world. We’re introduced to a cousin of the King, Derrick Arlington and get to know one of Ariel’s Knights better, Zia Barnes. While this can be read as a standalone, it is much better enjoyed as a part of the whole.
The crazy mystery and intrigue of the Royal Family of the WInston Isles is convoluted and makes me hope they have some normalcy in the future! But for now we have a doppelganger body double, a missing original, and a petite bodyguard. It’s a fantastic journey with amazing foreshadowing, mystery and romance.
I loved these characters! Ariel has the best bodyguards at Royal Elite. Zia is a petite force of nature that has a lovely sense of duty and family and friendship. Derrick is a cousin to the King, and Theo is a lookalike. As such, they’ve traded places for 30 days and Theo is doing his best to live someone else’s life. These two were fun to read, to see how their lives intertwined with what I already knew of the Nana Malone world, and how the twists and turns would change them.
Sexy fake Derrick may be trying to live someone else’s life, but he’s got his own way with the ladies. Or just one, the lovely Miss Zia. Despite the bodyguard situation, they seem to connect. Their chemistry is all the right kinds of awkward and forced, turning into the beginning of a relationship.
Miss Malone has done a great job with this book. The story starts soon after the last duet ends,, so the continuity is great. And the storyline is just enough mystery, romance, and intrigue. The reader gets enough of the foreshadowing and multiple points of view to know more than the individual characters; even so there are many mysteries and loose ends book one doesn’t tie up and the cliffhanger ending leaves us with so many questions!
Whatever Theo/Derrick is up to, I can’t wait for the conclusion to see how this plays out! That last scene makes me wish I could read the next book immediately. And now I’m invested in seeing if the rest of the Royal Elite find their happily ever afters as well!

OMG what an absolutely delicious book! Every single word of it! First, I loved it because the heroine’s name is Zia and she is quite the bad@ss. That was awesome because my daughters name is Zia, and you don’t see that name alot so it got points with me for that. Then Theo/Derrick… SWOON! All that AND he has a good heart? Trust me, if you love romance you will love Theo from the get go. I don’t want to spoil anything, but every time you turn the page THE PLOT THICKENS! I’m so rooting for these two, they truly deserve each other and whatever happiness they find along the way!
I loved it!
Can’t wait for The Billionaire’s Secret!
Well Theo is definitely charming and caring. So much so that even when he tries to be the contrary, he is not selling it. There is one major secret involving Theo, one that even he only knows the half of it. But non the less he has to keep it. Then to make it more difficult he has to deal with Zia at every turn. It’s not easy to keep her at arms length when her instincts are sharp, when she is super curious, when their attraction is scorching hot and oh yes, when she has strict orders to protect him and not leave his side lol.
With a wild card on Zia’s life, her being taking advantage of and loosing control, she tries to overcompensate with Theo. But he is not an easy client. He is a good one though. And he will take care of her like no one has. With all that, this book gives you passion, action, mystery and a lot of banter. Great entertainment, if you ask me.
This is another entry in Nana Malone’s Royal series. This series is several interconnected duets, and this is book 1 in the Billionaire duet.
Nana Malone always delivers intriguing plots, interesting characters, and a cliffhangers that leave you needing Part 2 yesterday, and this book definitely checks all of those boxes. Zia is a strong, determined, amazing female lead. And Theo is a bit of a mystery. The interactions between these two are amazing, and book 2 needs to be read ASAP!!!
Oh shiiiiit these books keep getting better and better.
Of course when I seen Nana had another book in this royal series I just HAD to get my hands on it and I’m sure glad I did.
Zia and Theo’s story is fascinating to say the least. She’s part of the Royal Elite and he’s cousin to King Sebastian or so he wants you to think. There’s so much going on behind the scenes with Theo that it’s insane.
Being hired to do something has him determined to do the job he’s been tasked with to earn a reward that’ll set him for life. Throughout this book we get a glimpse at Theo and what he’s like and I love this man, seriously.
Zia, this woman is badass. I love Ariel but I think Zia just became my favourite. She’s a take no nonsense kind of girl that knows her way around a weapon and how to fight. She’s guarded and selfless and she’s just an amazing person.
Watching these two had my heart beating but my stomach clenching knowing that things were gonna blow up in their face and damn, they did. That ending has me needing more.
Nana Malone sure does know how to leave you needy. She’s queen at cliffhangers and I need book 2 like, yesterday. I need to see what’s going to happen after that..
Bodyguard to the Billionaire was fun, sexy and a little intense with characters you just can’t help but love and a story that’ll capture you from the very first page.
Well this book is tangles web and draws you in from the word go
Theo is the look alike of billionaire Derrick Arlington. and he is been paid a small fortune to pretend to be him for thirty days. The only problem he isn’t allowed to let anyone know he is a impostor and he has fallen for his bodyguard
Zia Barnes. If he didn’t really need the two million he is been paid to settle his mothers medical bills he may be tempted to tell her who he really is. Zia is well aware her charge is keeping secrets but she has no idea what thy are. As the attraction between them grows will they act on it.
Nana Malone has done it again! Just when I think that the Winston Isle Crew has had its last story, and that there is no way she can top her last book, she goes and give us this one! I LOVED this book and these characters. There is so much chemistry between Theo and Zia! From the very moment they meet there is an attraction that pulls at the two of them. The problem is that Theo isn’t able to tell Zia who he really is and Zia is set on staying single. The two are fighting an attraction that neither one is able to deny, but when secrets are revealed no one knows what is really going on.
My favorite part about all of these books is the way we get multiple characters points of views. Not only do the chapters alternate between our 2 main characters, but characters from past books get a turn to let us know what is happening. I love getting to continue the story of all of my favorite characters and after every book I add on to my list.
Now, FYI this book does end in a cliff hanger so you will want to make sure you grab book 2 ASAP so that you will be able to pick up right where you are going to leave off. Trust me, this is a must read series for sure! By Alisa
