Romance, mystery and humor. Pulled me in from beginning to end. I will be buying more in this series.
This was a very very good read. There were several places that I just couldn’t help laughing out loud. And there are a couple of places that make you think “Really? ” But put all together it’s a great read. And it’s a pretty clean read too.
This was definitely a four-star book. The story was sweet and the author created a small amount of attention perfectly. It was a very clean book – at most I would say it would be rated G. I would read another book from this author.
I love the whole series by Kathleen Brooks. I have read the whole series. I have read the follow up series with the grown up children that have been written so far.
I love all of her novels!
I really enjoy this author!
Love this series!!! Can not wait to get the next book in the series!!!! Fantastic series to read/listen to and the Bluegrass Universe is getting bigger all the time!!! Thank you Kathleen Brooks for a heartwarming, funny and enjoyable set of books to read!!!
Awesome book
I love all the books in this series starting with the Bluegrass series, then the Bluegrass Brothers series, Bluegrass Singles, the Forever Bluegrass series and also the new Shadiws Landing series. I can’t wait for the next books in the series to come out and will sometimes just start with the 1st book and read the entire series again while …
An excellent story. Picking up where Dead Heat left off, with a new storyline, the town of Keeneston, KY is hopping. Although many of the characters were first introduced in Bluegrass State of Mind, this story can and does stand on its own.
Kathleen Brooks hit it out of the park again.
I’ve read all the books in this series and I look forward to more of them.
Excellent read
This is the second book that I have read by this author, it is was just as good as the first one. She has a way to mix romance and suspense together to have a great story.
Blue Grass Undercover features Cade, an ex-Army Ranger, now high school teacher and head football coach and Annie, the new school guidance counselor. Wait! She’s really an undercover DEA agent, sent to crack a vicious, expanding drug ring praying on high school athletes. The author aptly describes Annie’s investigation as she and Cade collide and …
Good Looking &Tough
That’s what you get with this beautiful DEA agent. Going undercover to catch people selling steroids to young athletes. You get sent to a small town in Kentucky and meet your future love. You try to help the kids while doing your job and there are a lot of twist and turns.
A perfect blend of mystery and romance. With twists and turns along the way, I didn’t know until just a few pages from the end who the culprit was. Difficult to put down.
First book of the series that I read. Writing style got me hooked. Have read most of Ms. Brooks other works. Very enjoyable.
Having live in Kentucky for 66 years, and in the Bluegrass for 30, I enjoyed reading the Bluegrass mysteries. I had fun recognizing the places mentioned (Midway, Keenland, Center College, etc.).
Love this series and the characters kept me laughing.
I thought it was an easy read. But a good one as well. It is one that I would read again
