Don’t sleep with the nanny. The one rule I swore to myself that I would obey. As a United States Naval Officer and a pilot for the world famous Blue Angels, I always play by the rules.Hell, I make the rules. And I never break themUntil I meet Paloma.I can’t ignore how she makes me feel alive again after I was certain that my heart was closed to love.We have nothing in common besides our love … to love.
We have nothing in common besides our love for my daughter.
I’m rich; she’s poor.
I’m her boss; she’s my employee.
I’m dead inside; she’s full of life.
Despite our differences, I let lust control my actions and kiss her like it’s the last night of the world.
Which it is, because our passionate kiss has changed my life forever.
I may be a Blue Angel, but she has woken the devil inside.
And I’ll do anything to make her mine.
Alana Albertson brings you an emotional love story between a widowed Blue Angel pilot and the one woman who is forbidden to him—his baby’s nanny.
Blue Sky is an epic standalone, slow burn, ugly cry romance.

Beautifully broken military man. Single dad. A nanny he can’t resist. Wow, the sparks are actually fireworks here! Alana Albertson does all my favorite things in a romance in one wonderfully written book. I love a man who finds both halves of his soul in a woman he just can’t stay away from. Don’t miss it.
Great book! Really enjoyed their story.
I loved this book and found myself with tears in my eyes in certain parts. It really touches the heart, at least it did with me. A young woman from a poor family struggles to survive and support her siblings. She applies for a job as the nanny of a Blue Angel’s daughter and gradually their relationship blossoms. Thinking he will never want to marry her, she leaves his home permanently. When she talks to her mother she finds out a secret about the past and her father whom she has never met. I won’t reveal any spoilers but it is a HEA. Thank you, Alana for your wonderful books. xxx
She’s a sweetheart. He’s a hot, pilot, who’s faithful, devoted and loving. Swoon worthy storyline. However, it didn’t really pull me in so I was apart of the story. That’s a bummer. But nice enough ending.
I was hoping for so much more when I saw this was about the Blues. The story was cute but I just didn’t get the Blue Angel vibe.
Great storyline but poorly written. Halting. Amateurish. Lacked polish and flow.
I loved it. Shades of an officer and a gentleman
I didn’t like this book. The beginning was so promising and then the romance happened within only a few weeks and they were in love just a week later. Not enough content to be able to form good connections with the characters.
Very good read. I liked the chatting this book.
it was a fun loving book
Unrealistic from beginning
Writing was stiff.
It was a good read
Was entertaining but very light on the character development…..was not very realistic in todays world…..had to make the main character not quite all Latina so not to turn people off???? mmmmmm
It’s okay, maybe for the beach, but a very weak premise
I loved that it was about the Blue Angels. Describing what they’re about. But what really got me was that it was a realistic story. The characters were so lovable! Now waiting for Blue Thunder, just finished, Blue Moon!
This was a great love story. If they didn’t use the F- word at all it would have been better but the story was great. Beck is a Blue Angel and a wonderful guy that lost his wife in childbirth. He has a 9 month old daughter Sky that be needs a nanny for, for 10 week while in this town getting ready for the Blue Angels to perform. Paloma sees an ad in the paper for the nanny job. If she could just make enough money to get her and her little sistets away from their alcoholic mother. She applies for the job and gets it. She is very professional and so is Beck but they are very attracted to each!! A standalone with an HEA!!!
Super sweet with plenty of heat
Blue Sky (Blue Devils #1) by Alana Albertson is super charged sweet, full of heart and plenty of steamy heat! Paloma and Beck’s story has every thing die hard sweet romance readers love without skimping on the building chemistry of these wonderful characters. And these characters are truly wonderful in so many ways. The author explores the emotional dynamics of each in meaningful reflections as well as dialogue that draws the reader in, creating an investment this developing relationship. There’s lots going on and I appreciated the connections from the past to the present for both Paloma and Beck.
Overall, a wonderful love story full of heat and heart with a really fantastic HEA in so many promising possibilities.
Fairy tale from every which way. Happy endings that never quit.
Wow! What a story. I am new to Alana Albertson and I most certainly have been missing out. Instantly, I was pulled into this story and my heart immediately attached. The entire world she created is a fantastic start to a new series. It gave me all the feels. I laughed, I cried, I swooned. Blue Sky is book one of her Blue Devils series. It is a stand-alone story, but I’m intrigued as to what she comes up with next.
The Blue Angels come to town for only ten weeks out of the year. Beckett has set out to follow his late wife’s wishes. He intends to change someone’s life. He knows that in this poverty-stricken town, there aren’t a lot of opportunities for the chance he’s about to give. He needs someone to take care of his young daughter and he will go to great lengths to make sure he has the right person.
Paloma’s life couldn’t be more opposite than Beckett’s. She has struggled for everything, but she continues to show her resilience by being determined to make a better life for her and her sisters. Now she’s given the opportunity of a lifetime. But will it be worth the risk for her family and most importantly her heart?
I absolutely loved this book. I will be diving into book two in this series as soon as possible. The audio version of this book was phenomenal. I was new to Elizabeth Powers and Dexter Collins but this will certainly not be my last book from them either. I can’t wait for book two of this series!
