Reclusive rock star. Notorious bad boy. Heir to a legacy. They say a single moment can change the course of your life. Mine wasn’t a moment, but a man. We were wrong for each other in every way, yet it didn’t stop me from wanting him. The broody, arrogant rock star on the verge of self-destruction. His touch was electric, his wounded gaze burning me from the inside out. He was perfectly … star on the verge of self-destruction. His touch was electric, his wounded gaze burning me from the inside out.
He was perfectly imperfect.
Irresistibly tortured.
Utterly broken. Almost as broken as me.
Our jagged edges aligned so seamlessly even I believed we might have healed each other.
I couldn’t have been more wrong.
*This is book one in the STAND ALONE Savages in Ruin rock star romance series more
This is the first in a new series from this exceptional author, and this story just blew me away! Wyatt and Willow are both broken in their own ways, yet so perfect together. This is a beautifully written story which is intense, raw, gritty, steamy, and with twists and surprises which all lead to a powerful emotional roller coaster journey throughout. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this author, whose work I highly recommend for all.
Talk about keeping me on the edge of my seat! This book was intense from the very first page until the very last. Full of suspense, heartbreak, drama and mystery I was constantly trying to figure out Willow and how she just happened to be right where she needed to be in Wyatt’s greatest time of need. The two were definitely broken, but the author kept you hooked trying to figure out what could have happened to cause them both so much pain.
I loved the chemistry between these characters and the fact that Wyatt instantly felt the need to protect Willow even though he himself was struggling. This book is full of so much raw emotion that I could feel the pain that both Willow and Wyatt were feeling.
On top of the emotional roller coaster that I was taken on throughout this story, there were also some serious twists that I did not see coming thrown in. Every time I thought I had things figured out something else would happen and really there was no way I could have guessed how this would end.
This is a must read book for sure! I can’t wait to get my hands on more of this series! – By Alisa
This deeply emotional romance about a troubled rock star and the mysterious, waif-like young woman he finds dripping wet and alone on a dark road is as is mind-bending as it is engrossing. Wyatt and Willow’s connection is almost spiritual and their love for each other is awe-inspiring. The story touches on some difficult subjects – depression, substance abuse, and mental illness. This is not a lightweight story. The writing is simply awesome and the revelations at the end are stunning. I will be thinking about this book for a long time to come.

It was not what I expected. It was soo much more. The place of the story blew me away, when I found out…
Willow and Wyatt have their own background and story, but the story they have together is so good/bad/unbelivable. It’s not often that I’m surprised by a story, but here I was…in a good way.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
How do you get over a book hangover that has left you emotionally torn open!?! This book was just beyond what I was prepared for going in, and I mean that in the absolute BEST way possible! Wyatt and Willow are both such captivating characters and the way that you are sucked into their story is just incredible! wyatt made my heart ache and Willow was just perfectly broken too! I loved this!!
People say don’t judge a book by its cover, and seriously do NOT judge this book by the cover (although the cover IS to die for).
This story is so much more. From the get-go, Jane grabs your attention and with each passing pages, you keep stumbling down a world of mystery, emotions, hurts, angst that will just keep you guessing. You can feel the palpable connection between Wyatt and Willow and their push and pull relationship.
” I’m quickly learning Wyatt Blue has two sides. Arrogant ass and sweetheart, the latter being my favourite.”
Throughout the book, Jane kept me guessing on where the story is going. Just like the character, you are lost in their world, and Jane’s mastery with words help pave the way for both them and you.
There are some pretty deep truths in this story that makes you think; and something that you will never expect. Overall, this is a brilliant start to a new series and I am looking forward to seeing what Jane does with the rest of the casts.
Wow! Just wow! This book had me all over the place! And the twist! Whaaaaaaaaaaat? Wyatt and Willow are a very odd couple. It is so difficult for me to write this because I am so mind blown that I am having a hard time putting it into words and not spoil anything! I will say this though….. Jane Anthony is so great at writing about tortured people. I was not able to put this book down, except at bed time. I NEEDED to know what was going to happen with them! Such a great read! Totally worth 4 stars!
Jane Anthony didn’t shrink any on this story. Blue is everything you didn’t know you wanted and more! The twists, ups and downs leave you literally hanging on to your seat wondering what will happen next. There was such a connection between Blue and Willow is breathtaking and heartbreaking. Blue is my favorite book by Jane Anthony.
OMG! I just love Jane Anthony’s stories. They pull every emotion out of me. Blue is such a gut wrenching, emotionally charged story and from the prologue I was hooked. That opening scene was so dramatic and intense. Wyatt Blue and Willow are 2 very complex characters, each with their own special brand of demons to deal with, including some mental health issues but their connection is undeniable. What they share is even deeper the physical realm.
I’m just blown away by the way Jane structured this story – the symbolism of the rain and the setting fire to the rain (yes, Adele reference) was just perfection. I don’t want to give anything away but I was in tears when it became clear what it meant. You would have to read it to understand the beauty of Wyatt and Willow’s journey. Even death couldn’t come between them. Fate destined them to be together. Beautiful story with amazing characters and a worldwide of emotions and passions that wrap around your heart. And that epilogue was awesome.
Do you believe in destiny?
This has been my first step into the world of Jane Anthony books and won’t be the last ’cause she just bought me with this beautiful and heartbreaking story. As soon as I read first chapter I knew that this is going to be something I’ve never read before. This book was full of different kind emotions pouring from every page and my mind was racing hundred miles an hour wondering what will happen next.
Wyatt aka Blue was a rock star of Savages in Ruin band. Tattoos adorn a large part of his muscular body and with the blue hair he looked like Rock God. But his outside beauty was eclipsed by his broken soul. He was deeply suffering inside and constantly drowning his sorrows in alcohol. One day he met Willow, petite young girl and that changed his life forever.
Since the beginning Willow was like a mystery or enigma to me because she was hiding her secrets and struggled with her own demons.
There was an incredible connection between them, like one soul bonded two bodies. This mysterious bond was captivating me deeper into the story and I was wondering where this journey will lead me. I loved their chemistry, lust and sexual tension. It was slowly burning between them but suddenly exploded like lightning and the thunder at the same time.
Author Jane Anthony knows how to drown reader to her story and I was whole in. She created profound story about two broken souls whom seeking a reason for living but what they’ve found was so much more. If you looking for the emotional and unique story, I highly recommend this book.
OMFG!! Blue has just blown me away!! Wyatt Blue (Mr Sexy-Arse Rockstar from Savages to Ruin rock-band) and Willow’s story is epic – Book 1 of the Savages to Ruin Series. It was full of love, guilt and craziness from two tortured souls with some serious sexy times thrown in.
Ms Anthony has written a truly fantastic story. A superb plot ~ one that encompassed my heart. I’m completely blown away! It’s a raw, deeply moving read and written in such a beautiful manner – pure eloquence.
This book for me surpasses the 5 that I give this book.
I’m now ‘busting a gut’ as I wait impatiently for Book 2 in this phenomenal series… I’m seriously hoping it’s Frankie’s story.
Wyatt & Willow’s connection to each other runs deep. When Wyatt is struggling and at his lowest, can Willow breathe life back in to him? This book shows how Wyatt & Willow cannot escape fate with a plot twist you don’t see coming. Both are broken but their pieces put together makes them stronger as they navigate through the darkness, searching for the light.
This book had me somewhat confused. Wyatt is a struggling band member and he needs to pull himself together as he is always in a drunken stupor. This is causing him to have flashbacks from his accident which left his sister and his other band members dead. When he decides committing suicide is his only option to escape the pain he is in. In the mist of committing the act, he crosses paths with Willow and she is able to read his thoughts, and tries to convince him he is not the monster he has convinced himself he is. He is not open to being close to anyone but she is somehow in his head and he can’t seem to push her away. Is he going to lose Willow as well as his sister, she just helped him come out from the dungeon he has been hiding away in.
If you are into a book with flashbacks and hearing from the dead then this book is for you.
I really enjoyed Blue by Jane Anthony this would be the first story that I’ve read by the author and I’m excited to read more in the Savages in ruin series . The characters were really interesting the story line just drew me into what was going on with them and had me craving a happy ending . This was an emotional roller coaster. For me the book started out slow but gained momentum. I liked the inside thoughts from.bith characters and I loved the twist! This book does have triggers that could have been made more clear but it didn’t take away from the relationship between Blue and Willow. Overall a good job!
This book started off very interesting and differently than most romance stories and I was interested on how the rest of it would pan out. I was really confused for many parts of it, and definitely confused at the end but the ending did provide full circle. It was an emotional book that also had many triggers within it but it really gave a range of emotions while reading. It was my first read by Jane and I’m intrigued to read another.

This book took my breath away! I was blown away by the story of Wyatt and Willow, two tortured souls who connected on so many levels. They are only whole when they are with each other. The plot is intriguing, and the twists and turns took me to places I never thought I would go. This is an amazing story that captivated and moved me from start to finish.
Spectacular.
I have no idea how to describe this book, I knew as soon as I read the prologue that this story was going to hit me right in the heart, and it did. Every beautiful poetic word spoke to me and all my emotions like nothing else. Depression and mental health are a big part of my life so Wyatt(blue) and Willow had My attention and empathy from the start. But this book is not what it seems it is very symbolic and full of hidden meanings. You will understand this when you read it.
It is such a haunting story so perfectly written and it flowed effortlessly thorough me and I couldn’t put it down even if I tried.
Wyatt Blue and Willow are two lost souls broken and filled with guilt and sorrow, healing one another through a Love and connection so strong that no matter what they went through, it would always bring them back to one another.
I Loved Wyatt and his beautifully shattered pieces I wanted to fit them all back together like a jigsaw, I loved this book so much and I can’t pin point exactly why it had a hold on me, but it sure did throw me a few curve balls. This is a Unique Rockstar Romance and I cannot wait for the second book I am so sure Frankie and Jett will hopefully tell us their story soon.
An Amazing read completely, addictive and another triumph for Jane Anthony.
I highly recommend it.
OMG! Jane Anthony you have slayed me with this book.
The cover, is so Wyatt Blue, Jane knows Kade is my man, but he’s gonna have to kick-back for a while so I can drool over Blue.
I’m not going in deep on the characters of this book, not to give spoilers.
I love Wyatt and Willow they are so wrong for each other, but so right together.
It’s dark, it pulls you into the darkness, with you turning pages to get to the light, the lightness lifts you.
Then all that changes in the blink of an eye and you’re left wondering where the hell you are.
You’re ripped to shreds and forced back together again.
Note this book could has suicide and depression triggers.

Blue is a heartbreakingly beautiful novel. Wyatt and Willow are both broken souls, their hearts and minds fighting to survive life. Their journey together is one filled with angst, turmoil, arousing heat, hope and love. There were so many surprising twists that kept me intrigued and invested in wanting so see where their journey would take them. Wyatt and Willow’s story completely enraptured me and will stay with me long after the final page of this novel has been turned.
