Blue Moon Saloon
Book 0.5 prequel
This is a very short story of how Jess and Simon meet. It’s a great sweet sexy way to introduce the characters. Looking forward to the rest of the series especially as I’ve got them in audiobook and I absolutely love Kelsey Osborne
Book 1 of Blue Moon Saloon by Anna Lowe
Where to start? I absolutely loved this book but to get the full story or beginning YOU MUST READ PREQUEL PERFECTION SHORT STORY BEFORE DAMNATION. This is a short story about how Simon first meets Jessica but it just beautifully starts everything off but when you start book 1 damnation you are thinking of a great romance that started so well but this first book throws you so much.
Simon is a bear shifter but after been away from his clan with his brother for some time he returns to find them all dead. He and his brother end up as cook and bartender at the wild owned Blue Moon Saloon.
Jessica and Janna are wolf shifter that turn up in town and running for 6 months after a rogue kills their whole pack.
Such great twists in this series and I’ve only ready two books and one was a short story.
The audiobook is fantastic Kelsey Osborne is a favourite of mine and narrates so beautifully. If you love shifter series that look no further then Anna Lowe
Book 2 of Blue Moon Saloon by Anna Lowe
This book carries on directly after the first, Janna is a waitress at the Blue Moon Saloon and become attached to a alcoholic customer Cole.
While there she starts to try and sober him up, she’s worried about him.
After the Saloon is attack Cole becomes injured but no one realises he was bitten by a werewolf. After this Janna wolf starts making demands about mating.
I absolutely love this book especially with Cole being a broken cowboy that needs serious tlc.
Janna has a very dark upsetting pass but she’s always on the brighter side.
I absolutely love this series but this book is my favourite at the moment but after ready blurb for book 3 it might be tough to choose.
At the moment I’m listening to this on audible with the awesome Kelsey Osborne as a narrator.
Book 3 in blue moon saloon series by Anna Lowe
I didn’t think this book would top book 2 but as always I shouldn’t had judge a book too soon especially a Anna Lowe book.
Soren is heartbroken after losing his mate to a awful fire set my the rogues and starts to build a life with his brother and wolf clan mates.
One day a heavily pregnant human is brought into the saloon almost collapsed and Soren brings her water but is completely shocked to find his dead Sarah in his saloon and look very pregnant.
I absolutely loved this book it through complete curve balls and twist in there that compelled me to listening and not stop.
Kelsey Osborne does another fantastic job getting the amazing story by Anna Lowe across to listeners that I can’t stop listening.
want to read the rest of the group of Novels
So far l havent read a book by this author l havent liked. Her characters strike a cord in your heart and before you know it your so involved in their lives and reaching for the next story. There are 6 stories in blue moon saloon series, this set has 3 of them.
Each of her series intertwine the characters with cameo visits from other series. I really enjoy this and get a buzz when reading ,for example, Pearls of desire series have some of the wolves from the Twin moon stories lend a helping hand. Recommended reading.

“Great start to the series!”
Overall: 4 stars
Performance: 4 stars
Story: 4 stars
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, it’s fun, flirty and even has a bar fight. I enjoyed the flow of the story and how the author filled in the backstory while telling the current story. I enjoyed the back and forth chatter between wolf and human. It showed while the two were one, that human and animal see the world differently.
What did you like best about this story?
I totally loved the humor which was sprinkled liberally throughout the story.I loved how the girls practically took over running the saloon. They’re brainstorming session was freaking hilarious.
Which scene was your favorite?
I loved it when Simon realized Jessica was selling his muffins.
“Muffins? She was selling his muffins?
“Giving my muffins away, he nearly said”
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I have no idea. Sorry.
Any additional comments?
My only turn off in the story is taking the Lord’s name in vain. I have little problem with other swearing, but that always makes me wince and jars me out of the story. That said, the cursing is not over the top and fits the moments it’s used.
While I enjoyed the narrator, Kelsey Osborne, I kind of wish she had a bit more definition in the male voices. That said, I’m looking forward to listing to the next one.

Would you listen to Temptation: Reckless Desires again? Why?
Totally. It’s a great story and my favorite of the series so far. I loved the interaction between the main characters and their wolves. Plus, there was lots of humor.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I am totally in love with Cole. He was so sweet and lovable. I loved how he dealt with the changes that were happening to him.
I also loved the wolves voices inside Janna and Cole’s heads.
Which scene was your favorite?
Hmmm, it’s hard to say that without spoiling the story. I loved the scene with the Cole, Janna, and the bull.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Totally…and I did just that last night.
Any additional comments?
I have to say the narrator, Kelsey Osborne, impressed me much more with this book. The male voices were much better this time.

***Redemption***
Soren and Sarah
I think this is my favorite couple in in the series so far. I love how they slowly made their way back to each other. While both had valid reasons for their hurt and anger, they didn’t wallow in it. They were very pragmatic about the situation they found themselves in.
Something I really loved was that there wasn’t a silly misunderstanding that had kept them separated from one another. The issues were valid and appeared insurmountable. Too many stories use that cliched and overused trope, imo.
The story was well-composed which is the norm for Ms. Lowe’s books. I’ve never been disappointed with her stories. Her characters are imperfect, but improve throughout the story. The stories are do follow a typical pattern so the reader does know what to expect in the general sense. For myself, this is truly part of the charm. She definitely does *not* let it get stale/boring. I can trust she’s going to tell me a fantastic story that I’m going to love.
The narrator, Ms. Osborne, did a fantastic job of reading/acting out the story. She’s really grown as a narrator.
I’m looking forward to the next book.
Disclosure: I received a free copy of the audiobook. I also purchased the Kindle version. (less)
This books set has the first three books in this series and I have to tell you, once you listen to this you will be begging for more. I absolutely loved the couples in this series and how love can truly conquer anything that is thrown at them.
Narration is amazing! All the emotions and characters this series has and yet Kelsey can make them all just different enough to know who is talking.
Love this series
Salvation –
Anna finds her cousin, finally and she finds so much more. Todd is broken and doesn’t know why he’s headed towards a little town in Arizona. He finds so much more than he ever knew he needed.
Deception –
Summer believes she has something to prove, especially because of the role she played with the Blue-Bloods. So she volunteers to spy on the pack that spawned them and report back. This is a tale of finding her self-worth and of Fate bringing her someone who loves her for who she is, not the role she played.
Celebration –
Sweet sweet story. A quick update on everyone in the clan, with emphasis on the individual pairs or families. And a nice way of adding in fates Christmas presents.
A fantastic way to keep all the books together for easy rereading and you will reread this series.
If you have not read anything by this author then pick up this series and do yourself a favour.
Three really gripping stories that hold your attention till the end.
1 – DAMNATION
A great new series coming up.
I read the prequel PERFECTION before this book and it was so sweet. You do not need to have read it but it makes what happens in this book so much sadder.
Jessie has done nothing wrong but been left by her unmated mate. She has suffered 3 years of hurt and then things get worse. Her pack is wiped out by purist rogues that only her and her sister Janna escaped from.
Jess believes she could have done more to help her pack and her guilt at not fighting enough, on top of not being wanted by her mate and living on the run has taken her from being a feisty she wolf to a shadow of herself.
Simon thought he was doing the right thing in hurting Jessie and turning her away and making her hate him. What a ninny.
Why do males not understand that talking can solve so much. IF Simon had told Jessie what was going on, IF he had not hurt her so bad, they may have been able to be together and their respective pack and clans may have been able to help and protect each other from the rogues. Big IF I know.
All in all a very enjoyable read with a good storyline that is leading to a series of books for some of the other lovely characters we meet in this book.
Really want Soren to have his HEA.
2 – TEMPTATION
Good continuation of this series.
I have fallen in love with this series and was so looking forward to this book. Do yourself a favour and read the other books first, you will get a better feeling for this story.
I loved the background we are given on Cole, oh my, what a man. Loved him but felt for him with his guilt over the young rodeo cowboy who died. He is a wonderful person and did well with what happened to him.
I was really enjoying Janna and Coles story until Janna became some stupid idiot who did not tell Cole what was happening to him. I so wanted to slap her upside the head.
Poor poor Cole, he thinks he is going mad, hearing a voice and feeling things he did not know if they were real or imagined. Janna would have saved him lots of grief if she had explained what was happening to him. He also would have known how to fight the Purity idiots when they had Janna.
There are 2 other people this has happened too but does she ask for advice, NO, she just waffles along risking Coles life. Janna knows how close to the change he must be but she agrees to meet Cole to go dancing, at a rough, rowdy bar. Of course, Janna gets taken by the PURITY blue bloods who have been sending threatening letters which she has told no one about.
Really, a smart savvy woman suddenly does stupid things. Just because she is a wolf she is not invincible. I get annoyed when this happens. TSTL.
All in all this was a good gripping story but would have been better if Janna had stayed the same smart woman we met in book one.
I loved the ending with the reveal of Sarah, Soren’s lost mate. Wow, that looks like it is going to be a doozy.
3 – REDEMPTION
MS Lowe is going to kill me with suspense.
I have waited what seems like ages for this story. We get one hell of a teaser at the end of book two, but then we have to wait until over 50% into this book until we hear what happened to Sarah over the past year and how she got pregnant. Now there is suspense in a book, but this was torture. I kept trying to read faster and snarled at anyone interrupting me.
What a sad story for Sarah, she has been through so much since Soren broke up with her and left.
Soren was an idiot for dumping her and had no right to act wounded, but he is a male and they make no sense most of the time.
Unfortunately, Soren is a very quiet bear and hardly says anything, even when he has the chance too and at the end he still had not explained to Sarah why he had broken up with her and left her and what had happened. We know from reading the books but Sarah never had it explained to her. Unless Janna and Jessica told her. Hmm, that’s what was going on behind closed doors.
Loved that Sarah held her own when trouble turned up. Good girl. So glad Soren and Sarah have their HEA.
Then at the end of this book MS Lowe gives us more to keep us on tender hooks for book 4. She is the mistress of suspense.
If you are a fan of Ms Lowe you will love this. If you have read nothing by her before, read this series, you will not regret it.
Very enjoyable series.
