From Amazon bestselling author Diane Moody.Sometimes the best Christmas presents aren’t found under the tree . . .Working late on Christmas Eve, college senior Hannah Brooks is in the midst of a full-blown pity party. When a last-minute customer brimming with holiday spirit invites her to a candlelight service and a late-night family dinner, Hannah reluctantly accepts. She has no idea this … accepts. She has no idea this kindhearted woman is the mother of Jason McKenzie – leader singer of Out of the Blue, the hottest band in the country – and Hannah’s childhood idol. The evening ends with an innocent kiss (sans mistletoe) as Hannah is swept away by Jason’s unpretentious manner.
Over the holidays Hannah and Jason’s relationship grows, but when turmoil and tragedy strike at the very heart of his famous band, their newfound love is put to the test in the glare of the paparazzi spotlight. Throughout her rollercoaster of experiences with Jason and his friends, Hannah comes face to face with her own beliefs. Who knew she could learn more about prayer and faith by hanging out with a bunch of rock stars than she ever learned in church?
The author first wrote Blue Christmas as a gift for her then-teenage daughter in honor of her affection for a wildly popular band in the late 90s. The short story grew into a full-length novel, eventually surfacing on one of the band’s fan fiction websites where it became quite a phenomenon. More than 80,000 readers stopped by to read the story, with over 1000 of them sending personal emails to the author who still enjoys reading them today. Though the story’s details have been changed, its band and all characters now fictional, the story line remains the same. Author Diane Moody has dedicated Blue Christmas to her now-grown daughter, Hannah Moody.

This was a good book with a wonderful Christian focus. It actually gave me hope that there are famous people out there who remain grounded and the popularity and fans do not go to their heads.
While a lot of romance involved, there are some twists and turns that keep things interesting.
This was a good addition to my Christmas books-to-read …
This is such a captivating, sweet, addicting story. Loved each of the characters. The story was amazing because of the chemistry and love between all the characters. The ending was fabulous as well.
Good Christian book. Kept me guessing
Blue Christmas – Diane Moody— This is the most adorable piece of fan fiction I’ve ever read! Ever wondered what would happen if you got invited to your childhood crush’s house for Christmas Eve? Apparently Diane Moody has! This is the cutest little story, and it’s set just a stone’s throw from home! It’s a perfect Christmas read with just that one …
Great book for those who like boy bands and sappy romance stories.
My daughter and I both really enjoyed this book. It’s kinda fairy tail which is good and entertaining!
This would probably be more for a young adult. It’s story line is appropriate for that age level.
Very light, fluffy read 🙂
I loved this book and couldn’t put it down…it kept me up way too late at night!
Great story. Didn’t want to stop reading. Good characters.
Love this book. I love everything she writes!!! Another winner!!!
This was a fun read. I enjoyed the characters and the portrayal of her surprise and dealing with famous people was well done.
Engaging. Much more than I expected. I will certainly read more of this author’s work.
Wasnt a fan…
Although I felt it geared to younger adults, I truly enjoyed the insight these characters had to live good moral lives. The writer kept you turning the pages.
Good clean reading
The plot was too simple everything happened too easily. Almost boring and I live Christmas stories
I love the fact that famous people can be kind of ordinary. Well the parents helped lots. Thank you lots because I remember also being mesmerised by famous boy groups and wondering what their life was like. Thank you for the awesome read. Now at least my questions are answered
Sweet story. Good Christian romance.
