I like the romance and the conflict between the main characters. The reason I gave it 4 stars as the intro took too long getting to the main story; I almost quit reading because of that but hate to leave a story unfinished;
This is a wonderful read. It has everything, wit, charm, endearing characters and an unpredictable ending that leaves you wandering.
I really enjoy this auther and had read the previous books in this series.
great series!
Good, interesting read. Insight into trauma related effects, post traumatic stress disorder. Supportive spouse and friends were the best parts.
This is a well-written (Why is that not one of our check-box options??) and deals with the question of returning to normal life after a trauma.
Another great Emma Jameson mystery! Clever plot with many surprising turns. I loved it.
Two of my favorite fictional favorites. But the ending was too predictable.
One of my favorite authors, I’ve read many books by her and enjoyed them all.
Just ok
This was my first book from the series, I can’t wait to read all the others! The characters are real and tough and believable.
Well written and proof read. Well detailed with good descriptions, but a bit predictable and formulaic for my tastes.
Enjoyed the characters, how Kate is working through her fears, how friends sorted her, and how Tony cared for her while being true to himself. Their humanity and generosity are heartwarming. This is my intro to the Hetheridge’s: I intend to read more of their stories.
Another book in the Kate Jameson series – good plot, interesting characters.
I’ve read several of the Tony. And Kate Hetheridge books. Enjoyed all of them. I like the characters, they seem real.
Enjoyed this “who done it” so much that I have sought out and began reading the entire series. It’s very refreshing to find an author knowledgeable enough to express themselves without profanity.
Would recommend.
A puzzler.
Very enjoyable series, and this is another good one. Love the continuing characters and all their problems and successes. I’m not quite finished with this one but I look forward the finding out how the murder was committed and what happens from there.
I enjoyed it. I was wrong most of the time about how this all happened but realy had to keep going until the end and then was surprised.
I enjoy this author and following these characters. A little bit of the English peerage.
