“One hellish, fast-paced creepshow that demanded my attention…” –Tammy’s Tea Time She had the day planned out to perfection—before he called off the wedding and broke her heart. Now all she has are dreams of what could have been. She doesn’t yet know that someone else is out there, but she will soon. He’s existed in the shadows, stalking her every move, and he’s finally ready to end her suffering… her every move, and he’s finally ready to end her suffering…
It’s been exactly one year since Cheryl Bradley was found dead in her bathtub, dressed in a wedding gown with her ring finger severed. With no leads and no more evidence, the case had gone cold. That is, until another young woman is found murdered and posed in the same fashion.
Now, FBI Special Agent Brandon Fisher and his team have been called to Grand Forks, North Dakota, to catch the killer before another innocent life is taken. As Brandon begins to pull at every possible loose thread, the idea that the killer’s method of operation is all that connects the women begins to unravel. This serial killer isn’t just out for blood; this is a murderer on a mission.
But the closer Brandon thinks he’s getting to a resolution, the more evident it is that the killer is losing control and slipping up, making the trail even more difficult to follow. And unless Brandon and his team can catch up to the killer, the bloodbath will continue to overflow.

I enjoyed this book. It was original and I thought fairly realistic. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a good police/FBI story. The characters are relatable to.

Kept me interested…didn’t want to put it down.
I liked it and didn’t figure out the bad guy until the very end.
Excellent read
couldn’t put it down.
Just couldn’t get in to it. Read about 5 or 6 chapters and gave up.
The only thing bad about this book, is that you won’t be able to put it down, and when you have to, it’s close on your mind. Great thriller, written superbly!
Pretty good read
Not to put downIf you like suspense you will love this book one of those books you never wa
thi sserial killer yarn is dragged down by the soap operish antics of the FBI behaviioural analysis team. Narration alternates with the focus being the newst member. He unfortunately is an arrogant, self centered, selfish, immature self proclaimed stud muffin. Even worse he had an affair with a member of the team and they both behave like it is junior high. The rest of the team fares no better. They are blowhards, know it alls and rude. Of course they have the usual territorial cops. Not scaryor interesting.
This book is well written with the characters being appropriately developed. Although it is part of a series, it can stand alone. The sex was set up and then left to the imagination, for the most part, which is how I prefer it. I would have preferred a little more camaraderie within a team that works so closely together. Murder descriptions were graphic enough to say the reader should be mature.
If you like mysteries that devote a lot of text to the internal struggles and interpersonal dramas of the investigative team, then you will enjoy this book. I personally don’t and found the team at best tiresome, and at worst so annoyingly self-absorbed that it interfered with their ability to do their work. It would be one thing if these folks were part of a small law enforcement team in the middle of the nowhere. But they’re supposed to represent la creme de la creme of US law enforcement.
Those who like a lot intra- and interpersonal on the job angst and enjoy figuring out whodunit before the end of the book also will enjoy Blue Baby.
I like the book but, again, just like in “Eleven” it was a great lead up to a very anti-climatic ending. It was a great page turner, then it is over. No real story to the end.
Not riveting, but an entertaining read.
A good look at the FBI
Could not get into this Brandon Fisher #4. It was a little slow going. I guess I liked Brandon and Paige together.
