Then she receives news that chills her to the core: Jean-Baptiste Chandonne—the vicious and unrepentant Wolfman who pursued her to her very doorstep—has asked to see her. Read it, it’s worth it
I loved this book, I am a big reader of Scarpetta. I have never been disappointed.
In the true spirit of Cornwell’s Kay Scarpetta novels.
Patricia Cornwell could write a grocery list and I would buy it
another great work.
I was very disappointed in reading book as I am a big fan of “Kay Scarpetta”. It is one of the very few book that I did not finish. Having said that though, I know that I will go back and try to read it another time. I found it a bit dull/boring. It is not a book I would recommend to fans of Patricia Cornwell.
I LOVE all of the Kay Scarpetta novels.
I like Patricia Cornwell’s books. If you like forensic/crime/mystery type of story, her books are for you!
Very good novel, thrilling and scary
I really like Patricia Cornwell, her characters, and her stories!
It was an alright read
Wonderful Cornwell read.
The ending was disappointing for me. The book was exciting and the characters were interesting. I still recommend the books. I didn’t want to stop reading it
Had a different feel than most of her books, but it was an entertaining, satisfying read.
Not one of her best.
Love the Kay Scarpetta series! Always informative, interesting, and adds to the knowledge (hopefully) of MEs everywhere. I love knowledge and addto mine as I can. This hasa a romantic side and a realistic side. The information is scary and disturbing. For mystery fans everywhere, this is a must read and follow!
Patricia Cornwell is great as always!

It led you to believe that one character was having a heart attach and in his next appearance he was just fine and having an argument with his girlfriend. At the end people were in interesting places but the scenes were anti climatic . The guy goes into the …
Another great read
I actually didn’t care for it as much as her other books. It tended to bounce around and concentrate on multiple relationships rather than develop a story line of substance.
