I’m Mac, the Intel guy of the Sin City Outlaws motorcycle club. When it comes to technology, there’s no reading between the lines or emotions to decipher. I prefer two interactions with people. I either fuck them or kill them. There’s no confusion between a woman gasping when I thrust into her, or someone gasping for their last breath of air while I squeeze their neck. Then Simone Ray walks into … into my life with sad brown eyes, beautiful lips, and pregnant with a child that could possibly share the same bloodline of a fallen brother’s.
I’m the last person that should play daddy. I’m a biker and am no role model, but being with a woman who is anything but basic and far from a club chick, stirs a wind of chaos that I can’t escape.
I was ordered to protect her…
Falling in love with a woman and a child that’s not even mine was the last thing I saw happening.

Bloodlines is a calculating blistering Inferno of brokenness!
One that will hijack your mind, cage you in by it’s splintering depth of soulfulness.
Just like an explosive bomb of fate, of demise, rattling your scene’s!
Then boom!!!
You’re lost in it all the fire and fury!
Bloodlines might just be my new favorite in the Sin City Outlaw Series. Mac and Simone tugged at my heartstrings and made me fall in love with them.
From a very young age, Simon was told that she would be married off to Veer. A very cold an calculating man who only wants her for her bloodline. Trying to take matters into her own hands, she ends up pregnant and in hiding.
Mac’s the tech guy for the Sin City Outlaws but don’t let that fool you. He’s just has hardcore as the rest of them. When Zeek, his president, assigns him to watch over Simone he had no idea how much she was going to change his life. Now he will do anything to protect her and the baby.
I think what spoke to me the most is just how sweet and protective Mac was with Simone and the baby. The entire time I just had this vision of a big biker all tatted up and brought to his knees by the mother/child duo. He has his own internal struggle with thinking that he isn’t worthy of them and it both broke my heart and healed it because I was rooting for him so fiercely.
If you are looking for a softer biker book that still has the typical biker behavior but delivers you a man with a heart so full and lovingly then this is the book for you. Bloodlines will captivate you from start to finish.
1/2 STARS
So this I found was a tale of two halves the first third of this story being so-so for me.
I still ultimately enjoyed the start of this but there was nothing initially that made me exclaim wow. Then the second two-thirds gobsmacked me it was absolutely bloody amazing and I was unable to put Bloodlines down so hooked was I.
For me, this story came into its own when Simone meets Mac and these two misfits lives start to intertwine wrapping around each other in such a way that it’s hard to tell where one starts and the other begins.
Though complete opposites on paper when it comes to there initial upbringings, the one thing both Mac and Simone share is a complete disregard for the law and the rules that govern it.
They both exist on the fringes and according to there own agendas.
Mac the IT guy of a notorious Vegas MC gang and Simone the privileged Indian daughter of a renowned criminal family.
When Simone goes off script to prevent an arranged marriage to unite a rival family she has no idea just where her choices will ultimately lead her.
I have never read anything by this author before, so this was a completely new experience for me.
And as it turns out a good one at that, despite the initial slow start.
This slow beginning was ultimately the only reason I removed half a star.
Though I do understand the need for the backstory I just would have liked it to have gotten to the main course faster than it did.
Though part of an ongoing series this can still totally be read as a standalone.
I had no issue following along at all.
“Bloodlines” itself is told from both Mac and Simone’s POV, and I loved that this was a slow burn as the two got to know each other properly before connecting more deeply on a sexual level.
There was no OW or OM action here, once these two met they only had eyes for each other and I felt such a strong connection forming for me to both of our two main leads.
Mac was such sweetheart, a quirky, take no prisoners, what you see is what you get kind of fellow.
He’s also fully prepared to do whats necessary.
A real man.
He was so OTT protective towards what he perceived as his girls.
The perfect babysitter for Simone while the club tries to keep her safe and locate her dangerous EX.
Simone I also adored especially when she was out in the real world, her true colours and strength of character finally revealed and put to the ultimate test.
She came away with full top marks here.
“Bloodlines” was filled with a colourful and extreme extended cast and each one portrayed here was so fascinating to me.
I can’t wait to read a few more in this series to become better acquainted with this intriguing line-up.
So this pulled out all the stops and left me wanting more.
An incredibly emotive story that I can’t recommend enough.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of “bloodlines” (Sin City Outlaws, #5) of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
Readers who are familiar with M.N. Forgy’s Sin City Outlaws series know Mac as the Intel Guy – the one who uses illegal means to gather information as well as put information on lockdown so that the club’s business dealings aren’t used against them. Mac has minimal interactions with people; in fact, his only association with people, outside the MC, are the women he fucks and the men he kills, and that’s the way Mac likes it because being a loner works for him…until Simone Ray enters his world and turns everything upside down.
Simone Ray may not understand Mac’s world, but she sure as hell doesn’t want to exist in a world where she’s forced to marry a man she doesn’t love regardless of how luxurious her life is and the privileges that come with being the daughter of a renowned criminal. And because she refuses to follow her father’s dictates, she takes matters into her own hand, hoping that her choices prevent anything from happening without her consent.
But as Mac and Simone’s story continues, Simone’s impulsive actions still have severe repercussions because, in some ways, she trades one dangerous and deadly environment for another, but at least where she ends up includes one heck of an alpha male who is extremely protective over Simone and her unborn child for many reasons than just the potential bloodline connection.
Mac definitely doesn’t scream ‘daddy material,’ but what merciless biker would, so the fact that he takes on that role, not merely due to orders, but due to his attraction to Simone and the feelings that slowly develop into ones he’s ready to fight to the death for, things have changed because despite their opposite upbringings and Mac’s horrific past, Mac and Simone are willing to risk anything for her baby and for a shot at becoming a family.
Bloodlines is pure M.N. Forgy MC goodness. There’s action, suspense, angst, and steam, which moves the plot line forward and keeps readers’ attention to the very end. Mac proves just what kind of man he is and that he’s so much more than the ‘Intel Guy.’
4.5 Poison Apples
This story was WOW, nothing I have ever read by MN was this amazing. I was lost for words once I was done. Entertaining is one word to describe this story with the back and forth banter the characters and the different events that take place leave your head spinning. Wow was this one twisted but almost like a good twisted, one that I have never read before anywhere ever. It’s a Tear-jerker, Action-packed, Page-turner of a story and it only gets better. The more and more you turn the page the more and more you fall in love with this story. Tragic events do take place ones that will bring tears to your eyes be warned you need tissues handy. It’s unpredictable but in a really good way like no same page is the same in fact nothing about this story is the same, it grabs your by the balls and holds on. MN has a really great way with words and makes this super easy to read no matter how fast or slow you read. This is one steamy, hot and romantic story you want to enjoy over and over again. Geek meets Princess of a native american mob, things get out of hand and bam you have an amazing story. Watch out Felix you might have to make room for Mac. MUST READ, beware this might be your favorite of all.
***I received this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts, it’s all me myself and I, I was in no way told what to say***
I think Bloodlines might just be my new favourite MN Forgy book! I absolutely loved Macs story.
Mac is the hacker for Sin City MC but he’s not above getting his hands dirty when it comes to club business. His childhood wasn’t great but it led him to the men he now calls family. Never forgetting where he came from, Mac will always have his brothers backs. So when a gorgeous pregnant woman turns up claiming one of his brothers is the father, Mac finds himself needing to know more about this mysterious woman.
Simone is a good girl. When her father tries to force her into doing something she doesn’t want to, Simone sees what she thinks is her way out. After a one night stand leaves her pregnant and her life unravelling faster than she knows what to do she ends up trying to find the father of her unborn baby in the hopes him and his club can help her never expecting the gruff biker that’s left to watch over her.
I adored Mac in Bloodlines. I loved the way he was with Simone. Not knowing what to think, he doesn’t make the best impression on her at first but there’s another side to the big bad biker and it was that side that had me a swooning mess. As his attitude towards Simone starts to change, he finds himself determined to protect both her and the baby and I love protective, alpha Mac.
Although Bloodlines is part of the Sin City Outlaws series it can be read as a stand-alone. I do recommend reading the previous books solely because you’re missing out if you don’t. Full of action, danger, heartbreak and plenty of hot bikers, I definitely recommend this book.
Oh Macdaddy! This story was an emotional roller coaster right from the start! I adored Simone’s character right from the start. Her sass was off the charts. She had amazing depth in her character as well. I found myself drawn to her as a heroine! Totally someone you want to be friends with. The pain and emotions that were going through that poor girl right from the start then all the issues with the baby. Then you have Mac, who comes out of left field and regardless becomes a constant in her life. They just gelled together like they had been together forever. Mac intrigued me in previous books and Forgy really delivered with him in this story. It is passionate and intriguing at the same time. I love seeing past characters as well as it just makes the story more in depth.
Overall, I think Mac has won my heart for the Sin City boys. Machete will always be my boy but Mac is right there with him. This is a great story of finding love and family where you least expect it and what loyalty means to the people who care about you. If you are a fan of Forgy’s books, this one does not disappoint and an automatic one click!
