Whether it’s the father she has spent nineteen years killing for, the witch of flame who promises to teach her control, or the charismatic Yenic who claims to love her, she must ultimately decide who to trust. If only that trust didn’t come at such a high price.
Blood Witch is book two in the Witches of Etlantium series, a new adult fantasy series for women of all ages, but recommended for those over seventeen. There’s a good bit of intrigue, a smidgen of magic, and of course, some steamy romance.
a different kind of witchcraft fiction where womens adventure celebrates a strong female lead, paranormal romance, and warrior women and adds a touch of sorceress romance.
If you’re a new adult paranormal romance reader or a lover of women’s fiction where kickass heroines inhabit worlds of sword and sorcery fantasy romance, and if you dig fiction where female warriors become female heroes in a series that blends teen paranormal romance with just the right amount of romantic adventure, this series might offer you a delightful few hours’ enjoyment.

Alaysha is recovering from a stab wound to her side. The shaman Theron stitched her up then Saxa took over watching over her. Yuri has brought Aislin, the fire witch, to Sarum supposedly to teach Alaysha how to control her water magic when in fact, Aislin has a young girl who looks similar to Alaysha. This story has romance, lots of action with plenty of it being sword fights, and ends in a cliffhanger. Highly recommended.

Heart racing twists, exciting action packed moments and emotionally thrilling twists make up this darkly thrilling adventure filled with dangerous and engaging charters, witty banter and spine tingling intrigue. This magical and deadly journey will have you on the edge of your seat and get your heart racing for what may happen next.
I love the darker feel of this installment. It really ramps up the tension and brings a new dimension to the world-building. This book has a deep sense of mystery and foreboding that deeply enriches the series so far.
The MC is a fantastic tortured yet strong and resilient heroine. I am really excited about the new edge to the series progression and I look forward to the next installment.
The story continues from the previous installment. The witches have even more twists that they must contend with. This series is an intriguing mystery and one definitely keeps me guessing. There are some areas that are a bit confusing, but things unraveled I began to understand the world as it unfolds.

I enjoyed reading this book. In this episode, Alaysha is trying to keep those around her safe but she isn’t able to control her magic powers. Alaysha enters into an apprenticeship with another witch in order to learn how to control her powers. This is well written and a great storyline.

Our heroine is still trying to learn how to control her power when another witch comes along and offers to train her. But can she trust her?
This is book two of the series. It works pretty well as a standalone, but there is a lot going on and you will be missing some of the back story. Keep that in mind.
This book is a sword and sorcery fantasy story. The story is well written but not necessarily easy to read. There is a lot going on and it can be difficult to keep track of what is what at times. Our heroine develops a bit in this story, which is good, but she still has a long way to go in my opinion. The plot is intriguing and there is clearly lots more to come. Overall, a step up from the first book and I am encouraged to see what comes next.
Recommended.

The phenomenal continuation of this enthralling series! I love how Alaysha is finding allies in the most unexpected of places and how she is learning who she is! I can’t wait for the next book!
