A new urban fantasy series by USA Today bestselling author Angela Roquet. Detective Jenna Skye bombs her first week on the St. Louis Vice Squad when she’s bitten by a vampire in a supernatural brothel. Her day only gets worse from there. She wakes up in the morgue and discovers that her partner is dead. Before the sun rises, she realizes she is too. Jenna vows to continue their investigation … their investigation until justice is served, but a werewolf squatter, an unexpected visit from her estranged sister, and a nosy FBI agent stand in her way. Not to mention her fresh aversion to sunlight and a thirst for something a little stiffer than revenge.

A blend of familiar and unique with this one! Fans of Chloe Neill and the early Laurell K Hamilton books will recognize the vamp/shifter world and its hierarchy (romance and dangers!). This blends with the crime fiction genre nicely, giving it a fresh spin.
Angela Roquet is talented, and now you can check her out for free!
love this series! adds murder and mystery with the supra natural. OH! and it has some romance as well.
Easy to read and her writing style builds the characters very nicely. Made me want to read the next one.
Original
Next installment is definitely on my wish list.
Fun and quirky with some good action.
It was good.
Fun different characters
My first werewolf and vampire book, humorous at times.
I’ve enjoyed this series.
I read the whole series. Can get a little overly detailed, but the story was great and each book ends very well (which was a very pleasant surprise).
Really good story line. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
I loved this book. I will definitely look for more titles by this author.
great book and good series
Great Book!
I think the series is getting better, the first one is very good but the next two are progressively better.
It was hard to put down! Loved every minute. Can’t wait to read the others
This was a simple read, not as good as I thought it would be. It is the first in a series and would be great for younger readers. Younger adults
took me away for a while
