Red Slaves book two: Blood two Fire written by Tonya Cannariato. Following the story from book one Dust to Blood book two takes off with no confusion. This story is about Anne and Ivan learning about dragons and the way things are. There is so much they don’t know and do not remember that the elder God’s interfere to teach them the ways to not only survive but how to ensure the continuation of the species. I really enjoy this series the more I get into it. I think it’s fun to learn as the characters go along and seeing where the story goes. You are introduced to new characters and creatures as well as learn so much and the story keeps you wanting to know what is going to happen next. Book three in the series is Fire to Dragon.

Okay now we are talking. You definitely see an improvement in this book. The story is still a little slow but you see more with the characters. You see growth between Ivan and Anne. Her insecurities and fears are something most people face everyday. The time lapses are a little confusing but I figured that the caves are like were fairies live and time moves slower for them. Good story getting excited for this next book.
This is the second book in the Red Slave series from Tonya Cannariato. I was new to reading her work when I picked up the first in this series and I have been a fan ever since. I loved that this book just pulls you in, holds the attention, and then literally plunges you off a cliff with the cliffhangers that will have you baited for the next book. I would definitely read the first book in the series, Dust to Blood, before you pick up this one, or you could find yourself a little lost.
Tonya captures a lot with this series, and she handles it like a pro with fantastic world-building and descriptive story-telling. There is a lot going on in this one, ranging from the paranormal, to magic, dragons, and romance too. This one picks up right where we were left waiting in the first one. Anne is still working hard to figure out how to deal with her powers. There is the new elements introduced that bring another level to the sci-fi realm in this story. Anne just can’t seem to come to terms with the fact that she and Ivan are supposed to be together, especially as dragon-mates. I was a bit irritated with Anne at times, and wanted her to stop making things so complicated for herself. I could see where it was going though once I finished the novel up. I can’t wait to find out what will come next in this series.
Blood to Fire by Tonya Cannariato is the second book in the Red Slaves series. This book picks up a month later than book one finished. The pace of the story was uneven at first and made it more difficult to get me into the story. I was enjoying the progression of the story nonetheless. As I read further I was able to delve further into the story and am glad I held out and allowed myself to get invested in the story. Anne and Ivan are good characters and help to lead the story. The book is not standalone and I highly recommend reading the first book first. There is a wide range of genres ranging from fantasy, paranormal, romance, and lots of action and adventure. I look forward to reading further into the series to see where the story goes.

Blood to Fire is book two in the future and begins one month after book one finishes. We are still in the most of following Anne, who now has been hiding out in her new home with Ivan, Fyodor and Vasily and the ultimate issue of coming to terms that she is a Dragon and Ivan is her mate.
The chemistry is heating up between Anne and Ivan and I can’t wait to see where the series takes them as a couple.
We continue throughout the book understanding the Dragons more but at the same time avoiding the KGB. A true new original spin on the Dragons paranormal world.
I would totally recommend reading the first book.
Blood to Fire by Tonya Cannariato is the second book in her Red Slave Series, and it just keeps getting better and better. Continuing the story of Anne Crosby and Ivan Krempenski, this story gives you a little bit of everything from action, suspense, danger as well as paranormal fantasy overload. I fell right back into this story after reading book one and couldn’t wait to see where Anne and Ivan’s story went next. As well watch Anne and Ivan’s story continue, we are hit with the idea that Anne is going to have to cope with allot by being Ivan’s mate. Will his powers help her mission or hinder it? Finding their next mission and seeing just how integral they will be in solving it takes the reader and our dynamic duo on the journey of a lifetime. Getting to meet the same characters again, as well as new characters made this story even better than the first. I can’t wait to see where this series continues in the future. Cannariato is a new to me author, having only found her with this series, but I am so happy that I took a chance on it. This series has pulled me under from book one and I crave seeing where Anne and Ivan go on their journey. While this story has allot of action and suspense there is also an equal amount of romance to keep the home fires burning.
Blood to Fire by Tonya Cannariato is book two in the red slaves series. I definitely recommend reading book one. Anne has discovered Ivan’s dragon form and her own. They have to learn how to control it and stay one step ahead of the KGB. This was a fun and exciting book to read. I liked the characters and writing. I think the author did a great job with this one. Overall I enjoyed it and would read others in the series. 4 star rating.
This series is nothing like I’ve ever read! You have to read it in order to know what’s going on. I love the pace that it goes at, it does speed though. I love mythical thing and this book has it with the dragons. I like how they are trying to save the dragon population. The description of the scenes are life like. I like the way the characters are coming together in this book. I hope there is more books to be read!
Blood to Fire is the second novel in the Red Slave series by Tonya Cannariato. This is my second novel by this author.
A month has gone, and Anna is trying to adjust. Not everything can explained with scientific evidence, somethings just are. Such as herself and Ivan being dragons as well as mates.
Despite Anne, asking questions, I really enjoyed this novel and the depth of the characters. I really enjoyed how her relationship with Ivan deepened as well as how she adjusted and she came to terms with how her life changed.
I don’t wanna give too much away so I highly suggest you read the first novel. This novel still has a good mystery and builds on the previous novel. I look forward to the next book.

5 out of 5 stars
Blood to Fire is the second book in the Red Slaves series written by Tonya Cannariato and it’s also the second book that I have read by this author. So I started to read book two before I red book one Dust to Blood and was completely lost and thought to my-self what kind of book/series did I pick. After I realized that I started the wrong book I then went and started reading booking one and enjoyed the story but book two was amazing. The characters are easy going with the right spunk especially for this paranormal/shifter romance story. The way this author described some of the location in this story was amazing and so detailed.

Epically since the old Soviet Union once held Russian dragons captive, siphoning off their magic to cement their power. The resurgent KGB believes enslaving them again will return the Communists to their former might.
We get to see what’s going on with these great characters and see how Anne is dealing with being a dragon and the changes that she face’s. This was an amazing read and I going back to reading book three to find out what’s happening with my favorite researcher and her family.

Blood to Fire is the second instalment in the Red Slaves series and it is a great continuation from the first novel. I’d recommend to read the first novel in the series before beginning Blood to Fire because the story itself is quite complex so you could get a little lost in the narrative if you haven’t! It also helped to have read the first book because I was already familiar with the characters and it allowed me to immediately get straight into it! I loved the use of first person again of Anne’s perspective as her character goes through so much in the novel and it really aided in my understanding of her character and the story itself. I loved watching Anne and Ivan’s relationship develop and how even though they are now closer, Anne is still the strong female character that she was in the first instalment of the series. The level of complexity in the story continues on from the first book and even though I had to read it thoroughly at times in order to understand it, it was definitely worth the time. I would definitely recommend this book as it is so gripping and is a great addition to the Red Slaves series!

Rarely does a second book interest me more than the first book. This one does just that. This one focuses more on the relationships between all the characters. Not too much of the political side. Much more engaging and enjoyable. Anne and Ivan start working on how to be “mated”. They are also trying to figure out how to transform to their dragon side “at will”. The two younger brothers, Vasily and Fyodor, are in peril as they have many struggles throughout the story as well.
I am a HUGe fan of dragons! They are mystical, mythical and magical! We are on this journey with Anne as she goes through her discovery period of her dragon powers. I have as many questions as Anne so I love it when she starts asking them! The cave!! What a cool idea! It makes me wish I could live there enjoying the cave and have the bonus of being a dragon. Dream accomplished! Ha! Ivan who was very solid in the last one is kind of quirky in here. He does thing that no one understands. Like the fainting or going Into a coma like state. No explanation yet anyway. The connection all these dragons have would be cool as well.
This is the second book in the series and it’s much more enjoyable! The writing is Definitely engaging and kept my interest. The characters are expanding (not just body wise…*snicker*) and growing. I look forward to the next in the series!
Blood to Fire (Red Slaves Book 2) by Tonya Cannariato is a continuation of a paranormal story that is full of magic and dragons and is fraught with danger, mystery and drama. It is a very unique tale and the characters are well written. The plot thickens as they fight for freedom and survival and understanding their true selves. It is an interesting read with lots of twists and turns. Tonya’s imagination knows no bounds as we follow the world of mythology and fantasy.
I can’t wait to see what happens next.

5 Stars!!!!!
This series just gets better and better. I love dragons and this really filled my dragon need. This series just grabs you from the beginning and the getting to learn the way of these dragons is so interesting. I really like how the chemistry between Anna and Ivan is just starting to get interesting in this book. The author does a very good job of creating the world and bringing the characters to life. I can just feel the emotions Anna is going through as she is learning to cope with her dragon. I found it really intresting learning about this dragon world.
The whole relationship between Anna and Ivan really starts to blossom in this book. I was feeling the emotions as Anna learns how to deal with the newness of being a dragon and being Ivan’s mate. I really feel for how she at first struggles with it and then feel the elation as she gives in to it. I really cannot wait to read more from this series and see how things progress.
Blood to Fire is the 2nd book in the Red Slaves series by Tonya Cannariato, and it is a paranormal suspense novel. At the beginning of this story Anne Crosby has accepted that Ivan is her mate; she is also having episodes of missing time. She has discovered that when these episodes of missing time are occurring that she has transformed into a dragon. Anne is having a difficult time accepting that she is sometimes a dragon, but has accepted that she and Ivan have an undeniable sexual attraction. They can speak to each other with their minds, and the cave that they are living in can read their thoughts, too. From the research that Anne continues to do she has discovered that the FSK, (the former KGB from when Russia was the Soviet Union), want to use dragons as their slaves, and they hope to capture the dragons again for this purpose. The FSK believes that if they enslave the dragons that Russia will return to being the great Communist state that they once were again. Anne and Ivan intend to never allow that to happen.
I really enjoyed this book by Tonya Cannariato, and I am excited to see what happens in the 3rd book of this series. I am not usually a person who enjoys paranormal books, but this book is unusual in my experience because it includes a strong romantic component that is integral to this story. I highly recommend this book and series!
Blood to Fire by Tonya Cannariato is a great second book in the Red Slaves series, a 5-star read,
In the second installment we find Anne and Ivan are mated. They are so cute together, and I love how Ivan cares for Anne so much that he is willing to put up with her brand of annoying. I say annoying because she started to get on my nerves questioning every little thing. I can see how it would be scary and crazy to come into some new powers but, with her it was a little much. Anne is still trying to investigate why the dragons are unable to shift, while she and Ivan try to protect themselves from different threats.
I don’t think Anne had any clue or any idea that she would have a link to the Dragons, but I have a feeling the next book will be just as dangerous, romantic and thrilling as this one is. I would highly recommend reading these books in order, to make sure you get all the background and story line. I am excited to continue this series and can’t wait for the next book!
I give Blood to Fire (Red Slaves Book 2) by Tonya Cannariato, 4 stars.
**This review contains spoilers from book one**
Anne knows she is a dragon. But part of her still fights the fact, and that she is mated to Ivan. But she is slowly coming around. That is not her only problem, though. She must figure out the mysteries of their race to help her new friends, all the while staying hidden from the powers that want to enslave her kind. It is difficult, but she must do it. But at what cost?
This book picks up where the first one left and in my opinion, you definitely have to read the first one to understand the story. This book gets more interesting as you get further into the mysteries. Anne and Ivan working together is good for this story. You will meet more characters this time and go more into the “dragon world”, but some of the great people from book one are back too. The story continues to be interesting and you learn more along with Anne. I cannot wait to see what book 3 has to offer.
Blood To Fire by Tonya Cannariato is the second book in her Red Slave series. This series really should be read in order as it follows the same characters and follows on from the events in book one.
Anne has travelled to Russia, determined to solve the mystery she was set on uncovering. What she hadn’t expected though were be answers she actually found.
Dragon forms and links to herself having her questioning everything she once believed. And with the Russians syphoning magic she knows she is more involved than she every thought she would be.
This book was a great follow up to the first. I loved the development of the characters and how the story progressed throughout. It was an example of great writing and I cannot wait for the next book!

This is the second book that I have read by this author and this series and again I found myself transported back into the amazing world that this author has created. Her writing is so creative and imaginative and she has created wonderful characters. I would definitely recommend reading book 1 first to fully understand what is going on in this story.
Anne and Ivan are back and are learning how to live now they have discovered that they have these powers and how to control them. Again I thought the characters were well thought out and I enjoyed seeing Anne and Ivan’s relationship develop. Ivan is such a sweetie! I really liked him! He certainly had a lot of patience when it came to dealing with Anne!!
If I had to find something negative about this book, and it’s only small, I did find a few inconsistencies with the pace and flow because of the chosen writing style but for me that was so easily overlooked because I was captivated by this imaginative writing of the author.
I cannot wait for book 3 in this series to see what happens next with Ivan and Anne!
