great character, good plot. The diary passages that start each chapter add to the charactors and are in their own thought provoking.
First book of a series. Couldn’t put it down. Same with the second. Waiting impatiently for the third.
A good read. Good story. Learned a lot about railroad life (in and around). Kept my interest. Well done and worth the time spent reading the book.
