Blood of Others received one of the world’s top literary prizes for crime fiction, the 2003 Arthur Ellis Award, given by the Crime Writers of Canada for Best Novel. In his praise of the book, James Patterson, the #1 Worldwide Bestselling Author, said Blood of Others, was: “Tense, realistic, and scary in all the right places.”The disappearance and murder of a lonely San Francisco insurance clerk … insurance clerk puts a relentless crime reporter and legendary homicide cop on separate tracks in their pursuit of a killer.
The suspect lures solitary women out of their quiet worlds and into his nightmare as he races the clock and travels the globe searching for the one woman who will forgive the unforgivable.
In the course of a widening investigation, Olivia Grant, a shy gift store sales manager who aches to escape her painful solitude, meets Ben Wyatt, an outcast San Francisco cop on the case, Wyatt is a man gripped with self-doubt over the shooting of his former partner.
Blood of Others is a study of loneliness and human frailties; a story steeped in terrifying suspense that threatens to destroy the lives of those drawn into it as it rockets to a heart-pounding conclusion.

Well it sure wasn’t a positive for mankind. How such a villain could exist in the mind of even a fiction writer is scary. He needed to be captured and publicly hung from a yardarm at Alcatraz at High Noon. I kept hoping for justice to prevail sooner.
A little slow at first but gets with it
Very good book.. love this author
Slow start for me, but picked up after continual reading. Never thought one of their own was stalking Lei. Wow.
I could read this author’s work daily and get sad when his books end. Enjoyable style.
Kept me wanting to keep reading and wanting more
Good author
A little too similar to all the other Reed books.
Exciting writing style by author, combined with very descriptive settings. Enjoyed it immensely Rick!!
Couldn’t put it down.
I loved this book! Lots of twists to keep you guessing! A real page turner. Can’t wait for more fro m this author!
Rick Mofina is the real deal. Mofina takes what could have been a “been there, done that” story and gives it his own unique twist with top drawer plotting, excellent characters, a great pace. There’s never a dull page in “Blood of Others.” A satisfying read throughout.
I loved how the “race” between the police and a newspaper reporter to gather clues and evidence turns in an ever tightening circle to eventually learn the identity of the killer.
Very good read
One of the best books I have ever read.
Loved the author’s style. ..
Easy read and hard to put down.
ok
Another great read from Rick Molina. You won’t want to put this book down!
Rick Mofina is one of my favorite authors!
Characters that are flawed but redeemable. An antagonist that is truly scary. I couldn’t put it away until the end.
