Blood of Others received one of the world’s top literary prizes for crime fiction, the 2003 Arthur Ellis Award, given by the Crime Writers of Canada for Best Novel. In his praise of the book, James Patterson, the #1 Worldwide Bestselling Author, said Blood of Others, was: “Tense, realistic, and scary in all the right places.”The disappearance and murder of a lonely San Francisco insurance clerk … insurance clerk puts a relentless crime reporter and legendary homicide cop on separate tracks in their pursuit of a killer.
The suspect lures solitary women out of their quiet worlds and into his nightmare as he races the clock and travels the globe searching for the one woman who will forgive the unforgivable.

First of all…..Jake brakes do not hiss! They rattle, clatter, hammer, and they roar, but they never hiss.
Mofina has a formula he seems to stick to: abused newspaper reporter, jerk editor, opinionated cop and there is normally a kid thrown in the mix.
The stories are normally good, but you have to get past his over the top characters.

really good read
Decent story line, just way to much boring detail, not enough character development, a few too easily solved problems.
An interesting crime thriller.
Was an entertaining read with sinister overtones.
Love Rick Mofena. His books are always edge of the seat reading
Very slow read
Fast moving. Good plot twist
Slow
Good quick read
Repetitive and wordy, too much backstory & explanation of things. A good story that was swamped with just too much detail and repeated explanations that were not necessary. I prefer more showing and less telling when I read a crime story.
I love his stories. They can keep me up at night.
it doesnt disapoint.all his books are great reads.currently on my seventh book by him.all great.
Characters one-dimensional, the storyline cluttered and preposterous.
Rick Mofina is one of my favorite authors. I have read all of his books and hate when one ends. The characters are great and the plot the best. You will enjoy his books.
Outstanding author.
A superficially riveting murder mystery involving the perfectly evil serial killer/computer genius and abused person, who kills similarly isolated women seeing forgiveness. He is way too evil to create any empathy for his “foibles” but every other main character has similar, but less extreme foibles. Ben Wyatt, a SFPD Detective wrongfully blamed …
I have reviewed several books by this author and he never disappoints. This book starts off with the murdered body of a woman put on display as a bride in a shop window.
The hunt starts right up with Walt back on the case with his partner. Thrown into the mix is a guy named Wyatt….a cop disgraced because he didn’t back up his partner. Then you …
This is a book you won’t be able to put down. It is packed with adventure and keeps you at the edge of your seat. Great reading!!!
