I survived the hunters’ death games, but this fight is far from over. War is coming.I can feel it in my bones. But there may be a way to stop it without further bloodshed. The hunters are human. Without their mysterious drug that enhances them, they are no match for the supernatural community. Destroying that drug is easier said than done, especially when they have more allies than we do. It … when they have more allies than we do.
It doesn’t help that I can sense a change in Zander. He’s harder. Rougher. Darker.
Something is happening to him . . . and I think I kinda like it.
I might even love it.
Our allies? Not so much.
I need to find a way to stop this war—and fast—otherwise it won’t matter what kind of future I want. Human or vampire, we’ll all be dead. The permanent kind.
This is the second book in the House of Blood series. This series must be read in order. Start with Death Games today!

Vampires vs Hunters
Wozers! this trilogy is amazing! cant stop reading! Vampires against Hunters in this brewing War like no other! Kill or be killed. The casualties are huge in this book and Friday must make the ultimate decision. With Zander at her side anything is possible! Action, bloody and very sexy! i read this with my kindle unlimited
This is the second book in the series and the author did NOT disappoint. She came back stronger than ever with so much more.
This book picks up where book one leaves off. Friday and Zander are still in a fight to save not only their lives but all the other Supes as well. We also learn a little more about the Supes who career lucky enough to have a family like Friday. We see more of how they live. There is even more action than ever. Awesome fight scenes, clever twists that leave you wondering what you actually really know, and romantic scenes that leaves your heart melting. We also meet an uncle of Friday’s! Can Zander and Friday make it though everything together? Who is this uncle of hers, and can she trust him?
Again, the author has created the same effect in this story as she did in book one. She sucks you in with her writing that makes it near impossible to put the book down. She has expanded the already capturing world and brings you so much more. The story is fast paced and easy to follow along with. Wonderfully written. I honestly can’t wait u til book 3 is here. I need so much more. I need more of Zander and Friday.
I received an advanced copy from the author in exchange for a review. I agreed to read book two because book one was honestly so amazing that I need more. So glad I’ve found this author. I can’t wait to read book 3 and so many more of her books.
A DEFINITE MUST READ SERIES!!

Blood Gamble is the second book in the trilogy. It’s where the plot is more developed and begins to prepare for the final fight. I would say in terms of plot, it’s mostly unexciting. The book focuses a lot on Friday’s family, her revenge schemes, and her relationship with Zander.
Friday comes off as “normal” in book one but she’s quite the schemer. Not sure where this personality came from? But it works. Her and Zander begin working to cut the hunters off from the source. She’s all about revenge though, for what they did to her friend.
She’s extremely family focused. Much of this book is spent with her family. I found it all a bit odd. At first, they’re weary of Zander, but instead of throwing this random hunter out, they allow him to sleep in her room with her. I know she’s an adult, and I could believe their acceptance of him. But allowing them to sleep in the same room is not a sense I get from her family. Adult or not, they seem like people to ensure their house rules are followed regardless of what they are.
Her relationship with Zander was perfect!! I love its pacing and development. I love how the sex scenes are not cliche and overdone. It’s very natural and not at all annoying. Plus, I will say that as a couple, they are cute. This series is focused on a vampire and a human, so inevitably I assumed we’d get the cliche “turn me to be with you”, or the “I want to be with you but don’t want to be a vampire”. But that isn’t the case with these two. Again, it’s a natural approach. Even when there’s progress in this aspect, the author did what I wasn’t expecting with it. It’s refreshing.
Looking forward to seeing how the series ends!
