The stunning conclusion to the Blood Type series finds the world in chaos and turmoil with one final battle left to determine who will survive—humans or vampires. She had the world on her shoulders. Now she has nothing. Reyna Carpenter was twenty-one when she became a live-in blood escort for the ruthless and darkly handsome vampire Beckham Anderson. She thought this was just a small price to … was just a small price to pay for feeding her brothers back home.
But nothing went as planned. Not even her tumultuous relationship with Beckham. And now she wonders if anything will ever be the same again.
As she finds herself in the midst of a losing rebellion, she and her trusted friends must flee from a city conquered by the vampire elite. With their plans blown to pieces and everything they knew and loved gone, their future hangs in the balance.
Despite all she has lost, Reyna must rise from the ashes, reclaim the life that was stolen—and complete her mission, once and for all.
K. A. Linde’s addictive Blood Type novels are best enjoyed in order:
BLOOD TYPE | BLOOD MATCH | BLOOD CURE
more
Is this really the end of Reyna and Beckham’s story??????? I want sooooo much more, but K.A. Linde did such a great job wrapping up their story. Now, that’s not to say that she doesn’t mess with you like she is known to do, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m not going to go into specifics because I don’t do spoilers, but YOU MUST READ THIS SERIES!!!
MY REVIEW:
I received a copy of Blood Cure from Net Galley. This is my honest review.
Blood Cure is the third installment to the Blood Type Series. All I can say is at least I didn’t have to wait a year, or years for the final book to be released. Normally, I am a semi-patient person, no laughing, but this series kept me captivated. I have heard it said that there is very little that is original these days. When I listen to much of today’s music, I must agree.
Everything we see, read, hear, dream influences what an author writes. As I read the final pages of Reyna and Beckham’s story, I applauded the transformation which took place within Reyna. Yet life does that to everyone as they mature, hopefully not at the rate she needed to mature, or because rabid vampires are loose in America. What I read was an inventive, fresh look at all of my favorite vampire reads boiled down into a new favorite couple – Reyna and Beckham. But as in all stories, as in life, there are some who refuse to change, to grow. War breeds contempt, insanity and we know from our own soldiers it brings soldiers home who do not know how not to be soldiers anymore.
This is a series for everyone. It is a highly hot, sexy, read with horrible implications for humanity if people were complacent. If we looked out for our own and choose not to care about our neighbors, to make friends, to bury ourselves in our phones and computers and become sheep. Not all vampires drink blood. Some trade in secrets and make even vampires afraid. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book!

I couldn’t wait for this book to land on my kindle, after the cliff hanger of an ending at the end of book 2, I was eager to see of the story played out!! It was just awesome, I loved every minute of this series!!
I loved Reyna and how strong she was, even when she was at her lowest point, she was such a strong character. The emotions coming out of her at different points in this series had my heart breaking for her several times, but she always got back up on her feet and tried to move forward, even though her heart was shattered!! I loved her character growth in this book, where she grew to take charge, stepping up was just the right thing for her to do.
Beckham was just so Alpha, and would do anything for Reyna, at times in this series I didn’t always like the things he did, but in the end he was always doing it for the greater good and for Reyna, even though it didn’t look that way. I loved his character and his strength, they were the perfect couple together.
This has been a great series, fast paced, keeping you on the edge of your seat, heart pumping in anticipation, along with some very steamy scenes. A great PNR series, highly recommended reading.
Oh that KA Linde has sucked (pun intended) into the wonderful world of vampires. Becks and Reyna have changed me forever!
This book picked up from the moment KA Linde left us hanging in Blood Match…with her soul mate and love is gone and she needs to regroup and find her calling in life – to revenge all that Harrington has done.
KA Linde has once again taken me on a ride of a lifetime; the ups and downs, the ins and the outs of Reyna’s mind and life were something to feast upon. Watching this all happen as if I was there is one of the things I most love and admire about KA Linde’s books, her imagery and writing takes you and the adventure with her characters.
This series is one of my top favorites of the year and of all time! I highlighted while reading, so many things that made me fall in love with the story but all of which may be spoilers. Read this series, allow yourself to be drawn into the world of vampires and humans, and love and war.
I have loved this series from the very first book and I am still in love with it all the way to the end. You know in K.A. Linde style that this book is chock full of action, intrigue, shocks, and romance so you know that means there isn’t a whole lot I can tell you with out spoiling the entire series. Now luckily for all of us this time, Blood Cure is the last book in the series (wait, is that really a ‘luckily for all of us moment’, maybe not…I don’t want it to end) and K. A. Linde doesn’t leave us standing precariously on a cliff needing only a light breeze to send us over the edge. No, this time she wraps things up beautifully and we have the end we all needed, doesn’t mean getting there is going to be pretty, but there is an HEA and I love it.
There is a lot of introspection in this book from both Beckham and Reyna and while I like that it brings some wonderful growth for the characters it also slows the pace of the book a bit and I have to say it was the only negative for me this time around. There were a lot of moments of just standing around with quiet thoughts and I can see readers finding themselves skimming those sections just trying to get back into the thick of the action or the romance. Now, like I said it isn’t a terrible thing as the character development of both Beckham and Reyna really shines in this book. They both truly become the ‘people’ we always knew they could be and make every hard moment that they go through, that we go through with them worth all the suffering and pain.
Even with my one ‘complaint’ about the amount of introspection this book is still chock full of action. You might have those lulls but they always come back around to fast paced, high action moments that you expect. Beckham and Reyna’s world got turned upside down at the end of book two and we start off right where we left them, in the thick of things and trying to find a new path and forge a ew future for humans and vampires. Everything comes with a price though and boy do those two pay it. If you have been of a fan of this series from book one you are going to love what is to come in this book. If you haven’t’ picked up this series before now, go back to the beginning, you have to start with Blood Type or you will be completely lost. Each of these books build on the ones that come before it so reading in order is a must. Luckily they are awesome reads that you will fly though because you just HAVE to know what happens next. I am actually jealous of those who get to pick up the series now and read it as a new reader, one because you get to start a new adventure and two because you don’t have to wait to find out what happens, those cliffhangers in books 1 and 2 aren’t going to leave you in misery while you wait for the next book to come out, luckily book nerds, haha.
This is a fantastic Paranormal Romance and I really hope to see more of this genre coming from K.A. Linde in the near future, she is turning into an automatic one-click author for me! Grab this series up y’all you won’t regret it.
~ HAPPY READING ~
Blood Cure is the third installment in the Blood Type Series and you need to read the first two before reading it. It picks up right after the last book, where Reyna and Beckham are in a fight for their life.
Honestly, it’s hard to write a review without giving away anything from the previous books but I’m going to try to do my best. In Blood Cure, we really start to see just how strong and amazing Reyna is. She’s a force to be reckoned with and one of the strongest humans around. Her unique bond with Beckham only heightens her fierceness.
Even in the mist of devastation, Reyna and her team are able to bind together and continue fighting for the equality between humans and vampires. Her relationship with Beckham is tested. Multiple times. Yet at the end of the day, their strength shines through.
I’ve enjoyed this series and Blood Cure added a bit more of a dystopian feel to it. It forced me to rebel with them and fight beside them. If you want a different paranormal romance book with a fight between humans and vampires, then Blood Cure and the Blood Type Series are it!
Well writing a review for this one is really hard to do without spoilers. I will say that this was my very favorite book out of the three and the perfect ending to the trilogy. Reyna is fierce and one hell of a leader. She sacrifices her safety to help all the people she loves and does so without hesitation. She has so many people in her corner, but at times her army seems so small in comparison to everything they are up against. Even still she perseveres.
I’m sad that this story is over, but it ended in the best way.
This is an amazing book and one of the best paranormal romance series I’ve read to date. It’s unique and imaginative. It is simply a must read whether you are a paranormal romance lover or not.
It is an action packed read that had all of my attention.
In this installment, we start where Blood Match left off. The Elle supporters are rallying after total devastation and loss. They may be down but they are definitely not out.
With renewed hope, strengths and plans, will Reyna and the Elle supporters put an end to Harrington’s reign for good?
Reyna really proved herself to me in this book. Her strength and leadership shined through.
I loved, loved, loved everything about this book. From the suspense and action to the originality and pace of the plot.
And the cameo of a new character, Graves, PLEASE tell me will he have is own book?
I am actually a little sad to see this series end but what an end it was!
I received an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
The wait is over!!! Finally!!! Gah!!! I’m gonna keep this short and sweet because I’m liable to spoil it otherwise, and that would be a travesty. After Blood Match, I wanted to scream. Actually, I did scream. LOL!!! Blood Cure picks up right where we left off. And it’s a non-stop up and down from there. So many surprises and twists. The plot line kept up with the suspense and intrigue from the previous two books. We meet some new characters. I continued to love on some older characters. *cough*Gabe needs a book!*cough* If you’ve enjoyed this series thus far, you’ll definitely enjoy the ending. *twirls happily*
There is so much I want to talk about regarding this book, but I can’t. If I do, I will spoil some plot twists for you, and I don’t want to do that.
So here’s what I will say: K A Linde gives you the perfect ending to this series. Some of it you will anticipate, but other moments will surprise you.
Reyna and her pals need to come together to save man- and even vampire-kind from a terrible enemy, and as with any rebellion, not all of them will survive. K A Linde keeps you on the edge of your seat, wondering how everything is going to work out.
I admit that I wasn’t always the biggest Reyna fan. Sometimes she annoyed me with her self-importance, and I dearly wished she would take herself a little less seriously. But all of those things about her that frustrated me in the first two books become needed elements of her personality here. K A Linde developed and nurtured this character through the first two books, and you can see Reyna fully come into her own in this last book.
The cover clues you into a romance. But between whom? You’ll just need to read to find out. Let me assure you, though, that the sexy times are FANTASTIC.
Blood Cure is a fitting, strong conclusion to this series.
I have been anxiously awaiting this book because I needed to find out how things would go for Reyna! And WHAT. A. RIDE. This book picked up right where Blood Match left off. I was holding my breath, dying for what was to come. This was one of those books that grabbed me from the beginning and didn’t let go until The End. My heart hurt for Reyna as she was dealing with such loss. This book was jammed packed with things flying at her and she had to be strong. She was upset, hurt and grieving but she managed to keep going forward and not let it stop her from what had to be done. This story blew me away and I couldn’t read it fast enough. I don’t want to say too much and give anything away to you, reader. Just know it was an all-consuming read and the twists and the turns were great; a great conclusion to this series! I can’t recommend this book enough, but you definitely need to start at the very beginning with Blood Type.
With the conclusion to this series upon us, I was eagerly and impatiently waiting for Blood Cure! We pick up right at New Year’s when everything was unfolding. With the situation and the turn of events that were experienced, Ms. Linde had us on the edge of our seats. The angst and fear of not knowing what the future held for Reyna, I couldn’t wait to start! Knowing it was the end kind of held me back from jumping right in. I always have that sense of dread knowing that a favorite series is coming to an end. Blood Cure was fast paced, action packed, and had my eyes open like a deer caught in the headlights. I loved all of the twists and turns and the what-ifs that we thankfullyget the answers to. I can’t say enough good things about this series. It thrust me back into the world of paranormal and reawakened my love for all things vampires, or maybe just the ones that Ms. Linde gives us!
This is the third and final book in this series and I loved how everything wrapped up. Reyna is almost a completely different person to me. In the first book she was kind of weak and let everyone walk all over her. But now, now I love her. She is so strong. She had gone through hell and has come out fighting and I LOVE it! Beckham grew on me as well.. I will not lie and say he was my favorite hero of all time because he wasn’t.. but he fit well with Reyna.
This book is filled with action and love. It was by far my favorite of the three books.
I was given a copy of this book by the author.
The conclusion to the Blood Type series is here! Blood Cure brings Reyna and Beckham story to its end and what a crazy and wild ride it was. Reyna’s life will never be the same. Yet somehow Reyna finds a way to stand for everything she believes in. It is not an easy journey, but one that will consume you!
With no one to trust and nowhere to go, the humans, including Reyna, are trying to survive. Not only that, Reyna is grieving. With lies and betrayals at every turn, how will it all end? There is so much I want to say and share, but it really just needs to be experienced!
I loved this series! I am not usually a paranormal reader, however, this one was captivating from start to finish. The characters and the story drew me right in! How will is all end? Jump in and fine out today!
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
The beginning of this book had my heart racing and me sitting on the edge of my seat. Rowland was dead set on getting revenge. He went at it with everything he had and he wasn’t stopping. This book was action packed from the very beginning. Lives were lost and changed. There was destruction and there was rebuilding but everything was unpredictable. The ending was worth the journey. There were moments that made you smile, made you want to pull your hair out and moments that left you wanting more. No one was safe. I wanted more of GRAVES! There is so much mystery to who he is and I was left wanting more of him, in any way. The ending to Reyna and Becks story was a good one and the world was definitely a better place. The epilogue gives readers updates on the characters you have come to love but I honestly wanted more. I wanted an “unforgettable” ending to Becks and Reyna’s story and it was missing to me, but even with that missing this series was one that I would read again and again.
Oh, such a bittersweet goodbye! This series was so unique, sexy, angsty, heartbreaking, and wonderful. This was the perfect wrap-up with plenty of room if the vampire lords hear my prayers and bless Miss Linde with more words for this world! Loved every minute of it with my whole heart.
“But here, now, there were just two blood matches who had found the cure to their souls.”
We finally get the conclusion to the Blood Type series and man what an ending was it! I have been not so patiently waiting for this book. I was desperate to know what was going to happen after the ending of Blood Match.
This book picks up right where Blood Match left off and thank goodness for that. Reyna is losing everything that is dear to hear. She is doing all she can to survive but it’s hard. She finds strength she didn’t know she had and is fighting for what’s right.
This book was so good and you need to read them from the beginning. I am not going to go into detail all I’ll say is you need to read this. This series is unique and so good. I highly recommend it!
While I was a big fan of Buffy and Angel on the TV shows, I was never a fan of vampire books or movies. I just had a hard time getting into books in this genre.
That is until Linde wrote this series!
OMG! I was enraptured by Beckham and Reyna.
Their story was one that both captured my mind and heart.
I’m going to miss them greatly. I don’t even want to believe this is the last book in their story.
I think the author left it open with so much more to tell!
I hope, somehow, someway, K.A. continues this journey with the story and characters!
I adore Linde and her words, I always have.
This series, however, took us to a whole new level!
I cannot wait to see what that imagination of hers brings us next!
I’ll admit I’m not a huge paranormal reader, but I’m a huge fan of Ms. Linde. I was completely spellbound by this last book in the trilogy. I couldn’t put it down. The cliffhanger of the second book left me with my mouth open wondering how we come back from that. I loved Reyna’s strength and perseverance and how she rose from the ashes to lead the Elle group.
I don’t want to talk about the story because no spoilers here! This book was so action packed. It was like the Hunger Games and Divergent series! Lots going on and lots of characters to love and hate. The writing was brilliant and held my attention all the way through. Reyna and Becks completely stole my heart. Reyna is such a strong leading lady and my heart soared for the woman she has become throughout this story. It was amazing to watch her transformation to the woman she is at the end of book 3. This is a must read!!!
