Rowan Walker – young college student and coffee house barista – believes that her twin sister, Eden, has been taken against her will. The Seattle Police – based on evidence to the contrary; as well as Rowan’s sister’s free-wheeling, off-the-rails past lifestyle – believe otherwise. Rowan, however, refuses to let the case (or, for that matter, the SPD) rest and after a solid year of relentless … badgering by the young woman a weary, and sympathetic detective gives Rowan an alternative solution.
Enter Fallon Wylde, 17th Century pirate turned vampire turned soldier-for-hire.
At first, Fallon, too, has his doubts. And there is the unignorable fact that his fee is well beyond the young woman’s means. But for reasons he can’t immediately comprehend, Fallon feels drawn to her. Out of sympathy or an undeniable sexual attraction. . .he isn’t quite sure. But then, during the initial interview, the mention of an all too familiar nightspot sparks his curiosity. And from that point on things start to happen. . .
A very curious home invasion. . . The out-of-the-blue transformation of harmless next door neighbour to homicidal attacker. . . Scare tactics that run the gamut from the grotesque to the downright deadly.
And with the additional, eventual inclusion of elements which lead back one of most grisly and controversial murders in Seattle’s history it soon becomes apparent that the kidnapping of Eden Walker is just the tip of a very large and sinister iceberg.
Return to the world of A Dark Legacy and Shadowfall with this second book in the hot new series!

Love this series!
This book 2 is Fallon Wylde’s story. The 17th century vampire pirate has taken on a missing persons case. However, as he digs into the case, is client Rowan, life is put in danger. Rowan is looking for her missing sister Eden.
This book has twists, turns, great characters, solid storyline that will keep you engaged well into the night. Now I have to wait for the next book!
Loved it!!
Blood Carousel was a fabulous read. Vampires at their best and most violent.
Gritty and dark this pair of authors do an amazing job of bringing you a twisted tale that has you wanting to keep turning the pages.
You get lost in the story which is entertaining and witty. You get to fall in love with Fallen and Rowan as he helps to find her twin sister.
They find a lot more going on behind the scenes that lead them on a dangerous road.
The romance is hot and at times swoon worthy. I love a good swoon.
All in all a great read, don’t just take my word for it read it for yourself.
Love Fallon’s story. Another in L Ann’s vampire series. As with Taz’s you will fall in love with Fallon. You won’t be able to predict what’s going to happen next! And you won’t be able to put this book down! READ this series! You will be glad that you did!
This one’s gonna get a little crazy so buckle up!! Rowan is a young woman who firmly believes her twin sister has been taken against her will, however, the cops believe she up and left on her own. Rowan is absolutely convinced and she makes weekly, if not daily, trips to the police station looking for updates. She is hoping for someone to take her seriously. Finally one of the Detectives gives her a business card. That business card changes the course of her life. That business card leads her to Fallon Wylde. He’s a merc, savvy cutthroat businessman, and he also runs a successful P.I. agency. He has also been described as psychotic, crazy, insane…the list goes on. As it happens, he takes Rowan’s case and things start to go from desperate to crazy and Rowan starts to question her decisionmaking capabilities. But no matter how crazy it gets, she knows Fallon is the man for the job. This book is full of humor, death, gore, electric attraction, and more! This is not your average vampire novel, and its definitely not your average paranormal romance. It has a little bit of something for everyone. You’re gonna love it!
This is my favourite modern day Vampire series. This is book 2 however it can be read as a standalone. There are crossovers from book 1, Bonded in Blood which gives a deeper perspective.
Blood Carousel follows the story of Rowan, a strong fiesty, independent woman who asks the dark, handsome, take no nonsense vampire, Fallon. The adventure follows them as they attempt to find Rowan’s missing sister Eden. The plot is dark and suspenseful and the scenes so well described they take the reader right into the action.
I love how this book is written as it kept me turning pages at a rapid rate to find out what was going on. There is plenty of mystery that kept me guessing, romance to keep me swooning and dark vampires to keep my heart racing.
This is a book not to be missed!
