Revenge isn’t always sweet, but it sure can be satisfying…Sig never wanted to return to Manning Grove since it didn’t hold any good memories. Growing up a part of the Blood Fury MC ended up being a disaster and screwed up his life, which led to him spending most of it in and out of jail. But now he’s not only back, he’s sitting at the table as VP next to Trip, his half-brother who has … half-brother who has resurrected the MC from the ashes.
Still bitter about what went down twenty years ago, he’s now trying to move past it and stay out of jail for good. Until he finds a beaten and abused woman running through the woods, trying to escape her captors. Now all he can think about is revenge on the Shirley Clan, a group of sovereign citizens who follow no laws but their own. And if he isn’t careful, he might end up right back where he vowed to never go again. Behind bars.
Note: Blood & Bones: Sig is the second book in the Blood Fury MC series. As always, this book has no cheating, no cliffhanger and has an HEA. It’s recommended to read this series in order.

5 star review of Blood & Bones: Sig (Blood Fury MC #2) by Jeanne St James
Audio Review
Oh my stars. What a raw and gritty books Blood & Bones: Sig was. We first met Sig in his brother’s book,Trip and I was interested to see what Ms.St James had in store for him and the woman who would entice him to settle down.
The performance by Ava Lucas and Aaron Shedlock was spot on and they most certainly did justice to the story. I loved how protective Sig was of Red, the woman he finds naked, beaten and abused running though the woods. When he learns of the horror that is her recent past, he knows that he must do everything in his power to protect her from her abusers.
This was a rare, gritty, at times over powering, emotional story that got to me.The friendship that blossoms between them is real as Sig does all he can to support Red during her pregnancy. Both Aaron Shedlock and Ava Lucas brought all that to life for me with their performances.
Sig is such a tormented man and it was wonderful to see how is willingness to help Red also brought abut the beginning of his own healing. I also enjoyed the progression of his relationship with his brother Trip.
I cannot wait for the next book in the series.
Blood & Bones: Sig
Blood Fury MC, Book 2
By: Jeanne St. James
Narrated by: Aaron Shedlock, Ava Lucas
Every book Jeanne St James writes is special. There is always an incredible bond between the hero and the heroine, and it’s impossible not to root for them. This book in particular is has won my heart. Not the typical story, but this series is a little different as the Blood Fury comes back to life. Sig is fascinating to me. The half brother of Trip, he has been made vice prez, and has no intention of staying around. He just wants what is his from his father and to move on. That is until he picks up Red. Red is a mess. Pregnant, naked, undernourished, she is need of care, and Sig takes her home to give her everything she needs. But what is truly amazing is this tough, broken man and damaged, closed up woman truly see each other. This is dark and gritty with a slow burn romance just waiting to explode. Plus, I absolutely love the story line. There are some crazy people out there and to get to see it through these eyes is exciting. It’s thrilling to watch the MC begin to gel and fun to get to know some of the new characters. It makes me want to listen to more!
Nothing could have made this story better except the narration, and it just brings the story to a whole new level. Aaron Shedlock is Sig, and he gets him. Broken and broody, compassionate and loving, dark and light, he reaches into Sig and brings him everything. Ava Lucas has a tough one, with the closed up Red. She is uses her talent going from the quiet, aloof feel and lets us feel her change and warm up as time goes on. It’s a fabulous team and together made this one of my top listens this year.

Blood & Bones: Sig is the second book in the Blood & Bones: Blood Fury MC Series by Jeanne St. James. I started this book and I wanted to HATE Sig so much. He came across as such an eejit! But I know St. James books and they are all amazing so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and kept with it!
Sig has problems… a lot of them. After a devastating childhood that led to some bad choices that in turn, resulted in him being incarcerated one too many times, he is released from prison. His brother Trip, president of the Blood Fury Mc comes looking for him and wants him to be his second in command. Bitter and really having no more options he decides to give it a go at least until something better comes along. He then discovers a naked woman running through the woods and she changes his life!
“When I’m not with you, I’m in fuckin’ pieces. When I’m with you, you make me whole. It’s the only time I feel complete.”
Autumn AKA Red has been held captive for by crazy imbed people on the mountain for well over a year. She finally escapes running through the woods, naked as the day she was born. She runs straight found by a big tattooed man, Can she trust him to help her. Well she really has no choice.
“We can’t always choose what happens to us, but we can choose how to handle it.”
This book turned out to be so sad, St James took to very broken souls and put them together where they slowed started to heal each other. It was full of pain, heartache and love. It was just brilliant. As always with St James her secondary characters where brilliant and she even gave us a look into future characters like Syn, Sig’s younger sister. This book was so good in so many ways and I highly recommend reading it!
Red gets. Sig is not a very giving person, but he gives everything to Red. All it takes is one leap of faith. “Me or them Red”. She takes his hand. “There’s a trigger and a safety. One does the damage, one prevents it. You just need to find the safety that works for you.”. I loved this line in the book, as well “his nuts wanted to split up with him.” Levity in a very serious situation, this author can do it all. I’ve read quite a few of Ms. St. James’ books, and I love them all. This series is not for the feint of heart, but you will love the strength of the characters, both male and female.
Second in the Blood Fury series. I have to say I love Sig. he so far is my favorite. There is just something about him. Yes he is a bad guy. But he has a heart when it comes to Autumn. Sig has a need and he gets that from someone you would not expect. One day he is on the way home he runs into Autumn. Autumn has escaped from the mountain. She is pregnant and afraid. Autumn was quite the character. She is strong but at the same time is going through a lot that she doesn’t understand. She doesn’t see things as she should. Jeanne did an amazing job of writing her character. You feel everything that she feels. When Sig goes to the mountain and see where she was being held you can easily feel exactly what she went through. That is how well Jeanne tells a story. I loved the chemistry between Sig and Autumn. It is strong, unique and different. But I absolutely loved these two together. I have read a lot of Jeanne’s books and this one is my favorite. There was just something very unique about this storyline that I fell in love with. Highly recommend reading this one.
The first book in this series is good but this second one is even better. It has some very senstive issues the is very emotional but the story is well written and i just couldn’t put it down.
Sig and Red were exactly what each other need. I love how relationship slowly developed and blossomed into a beautiful friendship and love between them. I can never get enough Jeanne’s books and I can’t wait for the next one.
I can express enough how much I love this author. She pulls me in everytime with each couple she writes about. Sig is no different, I really enjoyed his story. If you want an action packed, crazy good story then Sig’s your guy.
Blood & Bones: Sig is my new favorite by this author. Sig has spent most of his life in and out of jail and now that he’s out he plans on staying out. When Sig sees Red running naked through the woods he’s determined to save her and get revenge on her captors. Sig and Red are two broken souls who are so perfect for each other. I fell for these characters and cheered them on to get their HEA. This is an emotional read and I am always amazed at how great this author writes. Sig and Red’s story is a heartbreakingly beautiful one and I didn’t want it to end, it’s that good. I definitely recommend this book, this series and this author to everyone who loves great writing.
Oh wow!! Sig took me on the ride of my life I swear! There is so much pain coming from both Sig and Autumn(Red). These two had so much to figure out within themselves and it was a rollercoaster of emotions. This was not a typical head over heels love story, it gets right down to the gritty roots of who these two are together. I loved this so much. My heart broke so much but I swear it was worth it in the end!
Love this book!!
OMG Sig…this was a ride you won’t forget!!
Sig, half brother to Trip comes home to join the MC, but for good, he doesn’t think so. Sig is trouble with a capital T, likes getting in it, went to prison for some of that trouble. On his way back to the farm he happens upon Autumn, she’s in some trouble of her own, he doesn’t hesitate to help her.
Sig and Autumn, both very troubled souls start on a journey together they both didn’t see coming. Some of the scenes in this book are very hard, all sorts of emotions to come out and answer so many questions about Sig and his past and present mind set. What Autumn goes through is nothing short of a nightmare, but her strength she holds on to is what gets her through all of it and persevere.
I could not put this book down, it was another fantastic read for the 3rd book to this new series by Jeanne St. James. Absolutely loved it!!!
This was an amazing read. The second in the Blood Fury MC series and I loved it. Sig and Autumn definitely take you a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The storyline and characters were well written and I can’t wait for more.
Jeanne St James has this ability to write characters that seem unredeemable. Sig is one of those. He appears in book one of this series as the estranged brother. He’s been in and out of jail. He has issues. But he has shown his true nature in this book. His capability to be more is incredible. Red is a woman I’d like to be friends with. She is strong and so capable but has no idea. Her situation is not one I’d wish on anyone. Sig and Red are two parts that complete the whole. I loved this story even though I thought I might not like Sig at the beginning.
Sig omg what a character he never planned on returning to his hometown in Manning Grove because of the bad memories. His dad belonged to a biker club and everything with wrong and he was a witness to it. Sig himself did some time in jail and he is definitely making up for time I did not see this one settling down anytime soon.
His brother Trip decides to restart the club and wants him to join it’s the last thing he wants to do but he joins and he save a woman named Red. Red had it rough and was running away from I call them predators. No woman should have to go through what she did and the surprise her is Sig he wanted to protect her and I thought I loved Tripp’s book but I loved this one just a little bit more.
I voluntarily received an arc copy of this story for my honest review
Expect the unexpected and buckle up for the ride.
Sig is such a complex character with so many flaws but those flaws also make him completely vulnerable and you just want him to find his happiness in this cruel world. His personal growth by the end of this story shows the power the right kind of love, affection and acceptance can have on a person.
Red (Autumn) is one of the strongest female characters I’ve read in awhile, she could have let her experience haunt the rest of her life but she fights with everything she has to not let it destroy her.
While this is book is more on the emotional side Jeanne never disappoints with adding a few scenes that will have you laughing out loud. The bond starting to form with the Blood Fury members is slow and steady but I have no doubt this group of rough and tumble men will find their way.
It’s told in different points of view, no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a hea. I highly recommend this book.
Jeanne has outdone herself yet again! She captures your attention from the beginning and leaves you turning the pages til the very last sentence is read. Sig and Red may just be my new favorite characters! This is a 10 star read.
I don’t know how she does it, but Jeanne St James is a master at giving her readers a gripping, emotional read that pulls you into the story and doesn’t let you go until the end. Yet even then you don’t want the story to end because it was just that good! Now, I wasn’t sure that I was going to like Sig very much when introduced to him in Trip’s book but turns out I did. Sig is messed up emotionally and is somehow the perfect match for Red, who he finds in the woods running for her life. Autumn “Red” has escaped her captors and Sig decides that he and the brothers need to help and protect her. Their story made me cry a little but the humor/banter between the brothers also made me laugh. Another fabulously written story from this fantastic author.
Blood & Bones: Sig was a great read. This is book 2 in the series. I’m enjoying each book in this series. Sig is my favorite so far. I loved reading this book and couldn’t put it down till I finished it. I voluntarily reviewed a advanced reader copy of this book
‘Sig’ is a touching story about two lost souls. Sig is a tough guy with a big heart and Autumn (Red) is just trying to survive. These characters have some heavy baggage to deal with and hopefully can overcome some of their issues. They both have problems with trust and it will take time and patience to work on their relationship; if there is to be one.
I love a story that has twist and turns that keep you guessing. Its seems that the end of each chapter is so suspensful that you find yourself reading into the next chapter. I just could not put the book down. This story was an emotional roller coaster with a great ending. The relationship between Sig and Tripp was intense. Shady is an interesting character and I look forward to his story. This was a fantastic read. Love the book covers! I will have to reread Brothers in Blue for Matt and Carly’s story-refresh my memory on the deal with the tent.
I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
