Some risks are more dangerous than others…Judd “Judge” Scott lives a simple life running a successful business with his cousin, Deacon. As a bail bondsman and bounty hunter, he’s good at what he does. He never expected Trip to come home and resurrect the Blood Fury MC, reopening old wounds. Being asked by the new prez to fill his late father’s boots as the Sergeant at Arms should be a hard no … Sergeant at Arms should be a hard no for Judge. Not only are they some pretty big boots to fill, but he also has too much to lose if things go sideways. Besides it risking his bail bonds business, he’s worried history will repeat itself and Judge wants to avoid ending up in prison, or dead, exactly like his father did. Even so, he reluctantly takes the spot as the club’s enforcer and wears his old man’s colors on his back.
Despite having no interest in a woman complicating his life, he’s intrigued by the young mother who shows up in town with her little girl. And once Judge learns why she’s come to Manning Grove, he finds he has no choice but to get involved. And that could create more complications than they’re worth.
Note: Blood & Bones: Judge is the third book in the Blood Fury MC series. As always, this book has no cheating, no cliffhanger and has an HEA. It’s recommended to read this series in order.

5 star review of Blood & Bones: Judge (Blood Fury MC #3) by Jeanne St James
Audio Review
Where do I start? It was great to be back in Manning Grove and the Blood Fury MC. I fell hard and fast for bad boy Judd “Judge” Scott and the women that brought him to his knees, Cassie and her precocious 5 year old daughter Daisy. Blood & Bones: Judge was a great addition to the series.
The performance by Aiden Snow and Ava Lucas was spot on and they brought the characters to life for me. I loved how protective Judge was of Cassie and Daisy and I particularly enjoyed the relationship that he developed with Daisy. What a sassy little girl she is and in my opinion there were times that she almost stole the book away from Judge and Cassie.; I just adored her.
This was a gritty, emotional, at times humorous story that touched me on a number of levels. Both Aiden and Ava brought all that to life for me with their performances and I for one cannot wait for the next book in the series.

I don’t know where these stories come from, but Jeanne St James never ceases to amaze me. Each story so different, each character, true to their own personality, it truly amazes me. This one is my new favorite. I know, every story I feel that way, but there is something about Judge that has totally won my heart. Hurt in the past, Judge isn’t looking for an old lady. He is content with his sweet butts until he sees her. Cassie is running from a horrible situation. With her adorable, sassy daughter, Daisy, she has temporarily taken residence in Manning Grove. When she first sees Judge, her feeling isn’t mutual. But leave it to Daisy to break the ice. When Judge’s company takes on a new case and the person of interest is Cassie’s husband, there is a whole new dimension added to their “budding” relationship. Will Cassie come around and see Judge for who he really is? Is Cassie even available? Will Judge be willing to take the chance on love? Be still my heart. This man is so alpha and has the heart of a teddy bear. Sargent in Arms for the Blood Fury, I was ready for the darkness, but while he held a little, his warmth and love shone bright. Cassie is a strong woman, and I loved how she realized just how stereotypes aren’t always what they seem. And the dogs. I am a total dog person, and those English bulldogs along with the humorous antics of 5 year old Daisy had me laughing and my heart melting. St James has done it again, bringing flawed, realistic characters together and creating a story of second chances a happiness and love. Not to say there isn’t some danger, suspense and drama infused! Banging the gavel on Judge, this book is a winner.
Ava Lucas and Aiden Snow are two of my favorite narrators and teamed up to give us this performance is just icing on the cake! Lucas is fabulous as Cassie and Daisy. Cassie has a protectiveness surrounding her, and in the beginning Lucas let us feel her trepidation, and slowly let us hear her change as the story progressed. Daisy’s voice you would think was a child, and the comedic timing, priceless. Judge enters with the deep, baritone of Aiden Snow. His voice projects that masculine protectiveness, but has a hint of warmth that soothes the soul. I loved these two together! If you love Jeanne St James, this one is a must listen!

Judge is introduced to Daisy, a sweet five year old in a parking lot, but her mom did not introduce herself. She didn’t the next time they met as well, she’s one very strong woman. Karma plays a role in Judge finally getting her name. Loved the intensity of Judge and as well, the strength of Cassie. Totally hilarious parts, especially from Daisy, “slap and tickle”, or how come when I make a mistake I get in trouble, but not mamma? I also love how Cassie describes Judge’s voice “low, rolling thunder”. Totally recommend this series and this author, you won’t be disappointed.
I voluntarily reviewed this book.
Witty, steamy, fantastic read
OMG! I adore Cassie’s daughter Daisy’ she is so sassy’ funny innocent and loveable. The whole story cracks me up. Judge is a big bad beast with a mushy inside’ Cassie never had a chance and playing hard to get was a loosing battle. Even her daughter knew judge was a treasure straight away. Jeanne St. James really knows how to keep you turning the pages.
4 Judge and Jury Stars
Blood & Bones: Judge is the third book in the Blood & Bones: Blood Fury MC Series by Jeanne St. James. This book was very slowed paced to start and if I’m being honest didn’t really start until about 70%
He didn’t like little. He didn’t like petite. He needed tall and solid—since he was big himself..
Judge is guilted into taking his father’s old position of Sergeant at Arms of the Blood Fury MC against his better judgment. He promised himself and his sister he would never end up like his father or in prison, so jumping back into Blood Fury Mc was not what he had in mind for himself. He also doesn’t do relationships or trust women but when a new woman in town and her daughter cross his path he finds himself interested, very interested.
“Shouldn’t be hard since I’m so fuckin’ lovable. Like a giant fuckin’ teddy bear.”
Cassie has just moved to town and is trying to start a new life for herself and her very talkative daughter Daisy. Broke and down on her luck she is determined to not to reply on anyone but herself. Not looking a big, tattoo biker to be her knight in shining armour but somehow seems to have caught the eye of the bearded biker! They are both completely different but work so well together.
This book was a very enjoyable read, Judge was very likable and the chemistry between both Cassie and Judge was fantastic and the secondary characters as usual spot on. Even with the slow start, I recommend giving this book a go.
What I’ve loved most about Judge, and about this latest Blood Fury MC Series by Jeanne St. James, is the depths she goes to. The characters come alive with backstories, fears, aspirations, and love for each other. The community bustles around them, the small town, the small side characters, they all have lives, too. Judge is an excellent book to lose yourself in and take a trip to a fictional small town in PA.
LOTs of emotions and sexy bikers. Judge’s childhood and being burned by a women broke my heart and when he meets Cassie and Daisy I prayed they would be what he needed in his life.
Cassie is a mother of a sassy little girl who had me out loud! I love Daisy and the way she with a big bad biker Judge. Cassie is trying to rebuild her life for herself and her daughter due to her soon to be ex husband and isn’t looking for a man.
I loved seeing them come together as not only lovers, but as a family. I loved the ending with Ry too it was perfect.
I can’t wait to see more of them in the future and what a firecracker Daisy is as she gets older.
Wow, how she does this I’ll never know. She brings her world together perfectly. I truly love this writter. She pulls you in with every book. Judge is probably one of my top three favorites. He’s definitely an alpha male with a big heart. You’ll love every minute of this story.
Three books in and it’s easy to see the Blood Fury MC is going to be an amazing series. I’m so excited to hear there are going to be many books in this series. Each one can be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading them in order. The Blood Fury MC is being resurrected and reading the books in order helps to see that progression.
In Judge, we get a prequel that gives us insight into a 16 year old Judge’s life. The stuff he saw and was exposed to has shaped who he is and who he doesn’t want to be. Once we’re introduced to 37 year old Judge, it doesn’t take long to fall in love with him. I think, for me, it was his interaction with Daisy. You can tell right then what a sweetheart he is underneath that rough exterior. Oh my goodness, and Daisy, she is such a cutie. Although a little scary in this day and age, I loved her first meeting with Judge. It’s like she had an instinct about him and the man he truly is.
Cassie has had her world ripped out from under her. She has nothing left except her daughter. Starting over, living with her sister and brother-in-law, the last thing she’s looking for is a man. Having had past trouble with a woman, the last thing Judge is looking for is a commitment, especially one that includes an additional commitment. Too bad for them, but fantastic for us readers, the chemistry between these two is explosive and something they can’t deny. I loved watching their relationship unfold. I also love watching the brotherhood of the Blood Fury MC develop, grow stronger, and expand. I can’t wait for the next book.
*I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.*
Judge…oh my, did I say I have a new book boyfriend. I know I probably say that every time I read a book by Jeanne St. James but she writes amazing characters. I absolutely loved Daisy, Cassie and Judge together. Judge has such a tough exterior but is a big sweetheart on the inside. If you are looking for a fantastic MC book that will pull at your heartstrings then this is the book for you. The writing is well done, the story flows smoothly and the ending is perfect. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
I knew this book would be great. What i did not expect was the emotional turn it took. I loved Judged all his glory especially what was under the surface. A great read from a great author once again.
Bring on the next one!!
Sargent at Arms for the BFMC and his only love (he thought anyway) his American Bulldog Jury. Life hasn’t always been easy, Judge still isn’t sure he is where he wants to be. And women, well they are just there to get off and then get gone.
He meets a little girl name Daisy who brings a smile to his face because of her larger than life attitude and her mom who isn’t sure what to make of Judge. Cassie’s life has been turned upside down by her soon to be ex-husband and she wants to find a new place to put down roots for her daughter.
Two strong characters finding their way after being dealt a crappy hand at certain points in their lives who find each other. A witty couple, some funny moments between them, and some very soft ones, I love a soft man who knows how to show it. The epilogue…oh my prepare yourself for some water works readers, I couldn’t stop them!!
Great series so far, throughout each book you get a glimpse into the other guys in the club. I could not put this book down, it was another fantastic read by Jeanne St. James. Absolutely loved it!!!
unforseen family
This book is fantastic.
It lived up to all I thought it would be and then some.
Judge and Cassie are 2 different people from 2 different walks of life.
Cassie afraid of her own shadow in the beginning and with Judge by her side for some important life changing events, the real Cassie emerges.
Daisy (Cassies daughter) is like a 15 yr old little girl stuck in a 5 yr olds body.
She has personality plus and whoever she hooks up with later on in life better hold on tight.
The best part of this entire book, is the ending and honestly hope we see more of this person in future books.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Judge was so easy to fall in love with! He’s his clubs SoA their reluctant one at that. Judge swore he wasn’t going to be his father and he’s worried he’s getting closer to being him each day. He also doesn’t do complications enter Cassie and Daisy. Cassie is trying to get her life back in order she doesn’t have the time for the slightly scary biker her daughter is drawn to but he just won’t seem to go away. This story has you in your feels. Jeanne St James knocked this out of the park. It’s hot, steamy, sexy, and has the right amount of emotions. It’s told in different points of view, no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a hea. I highly recommend this book.
Love Judge, and cassie just as much! Beautifully written and fell into their story so easily! Cant help but love these two! Didnt want their story to end. This series has me craving more
Judge is this tough MC Sargent at Arms and to watch him on his journey to find that one is amazing. What better way to help Judge and Cassie along tho but a spitfire little girl to tie it all together. I loved this book and was so excited to finally have it. So excited for whats to come as always Love this author.
Blood & Bones: Judge by Jeanne St. James is an amazing story. This is the third book in the Blood Fury MC series. This book had me laughing, crying, angry, etc. I had all the feels. I could not put this book down. This book has drama, heat, romance, angst, each of the main characters have some emotional issues and they all have baggage they need to work on, secrets. This book had me on an emotional roller coaster ride. It has romance, suspense, drama, intensity and feistiness of the characters. The book is well written and has very likeable characters. This is a must read. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.
I loved every second of this book!!!
I was soooo waiting for Judge and I was deliciously intrigued as to how his story would go.
I loved Judge he is so rugged and simplistic, he sees things one way and doesn’t need all the frills to get him there. His reaction to Cassie is sooo freakin wonderful. I loved his protectiveness and damn do I love a large chested man esp one who loves his dog.
I loved watching Cassie evolve into a stronger woman and how her speculations about the club didn’t hinder her questions or her feelings. Her daughter Daisy is laugh a minute fun fun fun.
As a pairing Judge and Cassie definitely sizzle the pages but I simply love how open they are with each other. I also love how gruff yet lovable Judge is to Daisy
All up another incredible story from Jeanne St James. I don’t know how she comes up with these intricate and exceptional character personalities. I want more and I cannot wait for Deacon!!
This book is an absolute win for Jeanne St. James! After falling madly in love with her Dirty Angel MC book series I was not sure a new set of men and new MC were going to live up to my high expectations. BOY WAS I WRONG, these Blood Fury MC books just keep getting better and better! Judge is the Sgt At Arms for Blood Fury MC. He is wild, tough, and for some people downright scary. However, he is no match up against Cassie and her adorable daughter! A chance meeting brings them together for a whirlwind of a new romance. This story is a great ride full of fun, fire, and an all around good time. I did not want this book to end. I cannot wait to read more about the ever growing Blood Fury family!
Another great from Jeanne St. James. Judge and Cassie were great together and I loved Daisy. The characters and story were well written and I can’t wait for more as always.
