Erin Hamilton follows Dante Gabriel back into hell—the underground compound where he was held for a decade—to confront the woman who held him captive. Finally unmasked, she seems to hold Dante under her influence. Erin has faith in Dante’s strength and determination, though, especially when the mysterious Vampyre Texts reveal their first secret.Dante struggles to regain his control, even as he … even as he grows stronger and the darkness rises within him. He’ll let his captor think she commands him as long as it serves his purpose, but if Erin or anyone else is threatened, all bets are off. He’ll use all his powers against her, whether or not he can master them.

Erin has followed Dante into hell, otherwise known as the underground compound where he was held and tortured for 10 years. The Queen has a hold on him but Erin knows that her love can help him overcome it. It is a race against time to rescue all those they love. The Vampyre texts start to unlock one secret at a time. Will it be enough?
More questions asked and more questions answered but there is still so much to find out. Helen Hardt does an amazing job of bringing us closure on some issues while still creating new mysteries. I love her style! I fell in love with Dante and Erin right from the beginning but over the coarse of the series Jay, River, Lucy and Julian have taken a piece of my heart too. This has been such a fun twist on the typical vampire series.
Blood Bond: 13 (Blood Bond Saga #13) was another great read by Helen Hardt. This book follows up right where book twelve ended. Dante finds himself bowed down to the queen and all Erin wants is to have Dante back. Erin has the copy of the Vampire Text and all of a sudden it opens. Erin, River and Jay find Dante and now they must find Lucy and the others who were kidnapped. I have really enjoyed reading Dante and Erin’s story and can’t wait to read more in this series.
In this installment Erin and Dante seek out the Queen’s evil lair to try and free their loved ones, with the help of Erin’s brother and Dante’s cousin. A lot of questions were answered in this book but it left me with even more questions.
Erin and Dante’s bond is so strong they find more each day that nothing will break them apart. Being pulled back into Dante’s hell and they keep getting stronger and stronger. Dante keeps finding ways he is more powerful than even he or his capture ever imagined. He now just has to keep everyone safe while freeing the others and finding his uncle.
Helen does an amazing job of bringing these vampires, wolf changers, and all the power they have to life. I couldn’t put this book down, but as usual I am sad when I get to the end.
Oh. My. GOD! What an epic start to volume 5!
I’ve been beyond eager to read the rest of this saga and was overjoyed when it was finally available.
I was having some major Dante and Erin withdrawals!
In part 13 (Volume 5) Erin and Dante find themselves in the Chambers of Hell, and they come face to face with none other than the “Queen” herself, Dr. Bonneville. They are trying to free the ones they love that are now kept captive there. Dante is still struggling but learning just how powerful his abilities really are and Erin is there every step of the way, as he treads carefully, being afraid that this could take him into the dark places he has fought so hard to get out of, and it is taking everything in him not to let it consume him but with Erin’s undying support, trust, love and help, its proving that love does conquer all.
We start to get some much-needed answers to some burning questions, but I was still reeling and needing to know more.
Dante Gabriel and Erin Hamilton
Dante had bowed down to the queen. Queen? Dr. Bonneville, is no queen. But apparently, she’s a vampire!
Fight for what you want. Dante wants to see, Emilia and Lucy. Erin, wants Dante back.
“Between the doors of perception, will be the most important work of all” .
Finally, the copy of Vampyre Text, that Erin has, opens.
Erin, River and Jay find Dante, and they embark on the mission of finding, Lucy.
Dr. Bonneville, argues “she is not a killer” , but she is the mastermind behind each death.
Do Dante, Erin, River and Jay find Lucy? What more do they have to go through to find the rest of the kidnapped? What is their health like?
Continue with Blood Bond 14 to get these answers and find out what more is going to happen.
It is in true, Helen Hardt style, to keep you guessing. It is for that reason, that I must give this a 5 star review.
Return to Hell….
I have been in withdrawal waiting for the next story in this amazing series. It was definitely worth the wait. Dante and Erin seek out the Queen’s Chamber of Horrors to try and free their loved ones that are imprisoned. Dante is discovering how powerful his strength can be. He has to be careful not to return to the dark side, but it takes all his power and fortitude he has to fight the forces trying to take over his body and soul. The one person who keeps him grounded is Erin. He needs her by his side. The trust and belief she holds for him gives him the strength he needs to conquer the Queen and her evil plans.
We get some explanations to questions, but there are still many more that need to be answered.
