A murder without a body. A murderer without a memory. A night without answers. January 16, 1999: a magical night for a group of high school seniors in Panama City, Florida. They listened to Maya Angelou read poetry. They danced. They celebrated life. By the time they noticed their friend Angel Diaz was missing, it was too late — she was never seen again. Her boyfriend, convicted of her murder, … convicted of her murder, has sat in prison for 18 years. Their friends have never looked at each other the same way; each sure one of the others killed Angel.
Detective John Jordan, mired in his own crises, is asked to solve the mystery of what happened that night. Can he uncover the truth that has remained hidden for so long? Can he retrace the steps in a closed case and get to the bottom of a Blood Betrayal?

micheal listers books are all good. This was not as good as some but the characters are great.
Love Michael Listers books. Excellent writer!
Unusual storyline with unique twist. Disconcerting to believe the possibilities of actual events.
Entertaining.
Well written, interesting characters and a look into the world of the prison. I am really enjoying these books!
Great legal thriller; interesting protagonist
the author trys to inflict his political leaning upon the reader, i read for relaxation
Too descriptive by moment but good plot
Blood Betrayal was just okay. Actually better than some of Michael Lister’s earlier offerings, so his writing has improved somewhat. It just seemed like something was missing to really get me invested.
Interesting storyline, just lacked punch.
Unexpected ending, the best way to end a book. Great read.
I love this author.
Well written but I did not care for the story itself.
Didn’t like the end.
A good page-turner
I liked the book but not enough to rave about it to my friends. It kept my interest throuighout — and I did not foresee the ending.
Great read
Stilted language. Amateurish plot.
Good read
Enjoyed reading it. Its my kind of book.
I really enjoy books that show the authors are vivid, forthright and insightful. Through superb research and keen interpretation.
