“I’m not sure what you have been told about me, but I’m not nearly as bad as they make me out to be.” His deliciously deep voice carried a little bit of ego.
I’m sure you are exactly as bad as they make you out to be….
Brad De Luca is used to getting whatever, and whomever, he wants. The premier divorce attorney in town, he is a forty-year-old playboy who’s bedded half the city–including his … city–including his own clients. And when the newest intern at his firm poses a challenge, his seductive prowess goes into overdrive.
Pre-law student Julia Campbell is fresh off a failed engagement and happy with her new independence. Even if she weren’t warned away from Brad at every turn, she’d know he was bad news. The last thing she needs is an older man who could destroy her job prospects, not to mention her innocence. But before she knows it, the incorrigible charmer has her under his spell. His deviant tastes plunge her deep into a forbidden world of sexual exploration…but her heart may not survive the fall.
This book contains explicit sex scenes, including a MFM menage.

I just finished reading another one of Alessandra Torre’s books in which Brad DeLuca’s character played a small role as a divorce attorney. Let me clarify, his role may have been small but his presence was massive. I had to keep reminding myself who the main character was. To avoid spoilers, I usually wait until after finishing a book to read reviews and that’s when I realized there is a whole series dedicated to DeLuca. Needless to say, I jumped right on it.
Blindfolded Innocence offers dominant characters, clashing personalities, a forbidden office romance, plenty of erotic satisfaction, a bit of kink, and one hell of a Las Vegas scene. Those who have read this book will know exactly which scene I’m talking about. This was a great book that hit me when I was in the perfect mood for it. I one-clicked the rest of the series and I’m about to gobble them up like Thanksgiving dinner! Check it out!!
Alessandra Torre’s Innocence trilogy includes the following installments:
#1-Blindfolded Innocence
#1.5-The Diary of Brad De Luca
#2-Masked Innocence
#3-End of the Innocence
I read all the books by Alessandra Torre. She’s an excellent storyteller. Her prose is fresh and snappy and she’s not afraid to have her characters bleed on the page. She writes provocative dialogue, witty and sexy at the same time, which is gold in the romance genre. Another reason I loved this book is that it took me out of my comfort zone. Brad DeLuca could disarm many a woman in real life, let alone in fiction. At times I didn’t like him, but the author strategically shapes our perspective, unraveling his past to explain why he is the way he is. I enjoyed the character development of Julia and Brad, both who have learned a great deal from each other. Both strong, both resilient, and both intelligent and willing to take risks in a big way. To read this book, you need to go in with an open mind and no blinders on, and you’ll be taken on an entertaining, wild ride!

I am starting to love Alessandra’s writing style. There was definitely innocence with blindfold involved, but than at the same time there was sexiness with innocence involved. I loved Brad and hated his guts at the same time. I almost threw my phone few times involving Julia because of curiosity and confusing for me. But Brad with his sexiness was perfect for Julia. Coming in to Alessandra and her writing was amazing and beautiful. Although I am not sure of ever being disappointed by Alessandra at all. Definitely worth 5*****
Bradley De Luca is not my kind of guy. What the hell does Julia see in him. I just can’t get my head around the swinging thing.
But much as I don’t like the swinging he is as manly as they come. Sex appeal in shovels. If he was in a room full of people he would be the charismatic one that draws everyone’s eye and who everyone wants to meet.
I answered my own question there didn’t I? His charisma is what she sees in him. His huge presence.
The writing is great, it’s just the WTF moments that won’t let me score it 5.
I wasn’t sure when I started to read but it wasn’t long till I was completely hooked. It leaves Fifty Shades in the shade. Great characters, good believable storyline. Lots of twists and turns to keep it interesting. Only down side is that the ending is a bit of cliff hanger and you really have to read the other two in the series. Have read a couple of Alessandra Torre’s other books and she scores high as an author.
