Did you hear the good news?
Club Indigo introduces a brand new couple.
And these two are into my favorite kink,Kinbaku!
This is Karen Nappa at their best, yet again, and i love it.
GT is a surgeon that is proud of his work, rightfully so,but when his hobby gets him injured,he has trouble following orders from his colleague.
The advice of physical therapy,is one he hás to follow if he wants to leave the hospital, though.
The first PT he fires on the spot.
The next is Sandra, and her approach is one he can work with. Teasing her becomes second nature when he sees her reaction to it. He’s even sad when he’s recovered enough to let her go…..knowing he’ll probably never see her again.
Sandra hates the cocky surgeon and his attitude towards her.
She takes her work seriously, but she’ll be glad to see the last of him.
He gets on her nerves with his constant remarks.
And if that wasn’t enough, her mother constantly tries to pressure her to do as she wants, and finally find a suitable husband.
When she has the last session with GT,she celebrates by going to the club for a scene with one of the resident rope masters.
GT already misses Sandra, but when he visits his local club, who does he see to his surprise?
He immediately takes advantage and manages to talk Sandra into a temporary contract.
Now he has 3 more months to get to know her more, and show her the real GT….
Sandra has issues, though….and those walls she has,are very hard to get through. Can GT bind his own jūjun’na with his asanawa? Keep his hana, forever? Or is she too blinded to see how perfect they are together?
The Club Indigo crew keeps growing and it’s always a pleasure to return. I love the art of rope bondage and Shibari (or Kinbaku) has a huge role in this story. I appreciate how every book in this series centers around a new lifestyle topic and dynamic. We had a Dominant, a Sadist, a Master and a Daddy Dom. Now with GT we get a Rope Top. The writing keeps improving and I can’t wait for the next book. It looks like we’re getting a Mistress next .
I found Karen Nappa and Club Indigo in a serendipitous stumble, and the books go from strength to strength. GT is a strong-willed patient – and Sandra pushes him all the time, determined to rehab his leg on her terms, rather than letting him injure himself further. And then they meet at Club Indigo – and she’s no longer in charge. She doesn’t want to move beyond play partners though, damaged from a previous relationship and a toxic mother. After his words hurt her, GT knows he has to make amends – but can he? We are back with old Club Indigo friends, we make new ones, and this is another keeper.

Just like Karen Nappa’s other series, The Quinn Quartett, the Club Indigo novels focus on various aspects of the lifestyle, given not only a great introduction, but also keeping things interesting. Blinded focuses on rope bondage and the scenes between the main characters are not only steamy but very sensual, creating beautiful pictures in my mind.
GT is a successful surgeon and I guess a certain arrogance – I can do everything and don’t need help from anyone – comes with the territory. Add in a natural dominance and you end up with someone who does NOT take kindly to being laid low by an injury. Sandra is a strong-willed woman who fought hard for her success as a Physical Therapist. She is used to calling the shots when it comes to her patients, but naturally submissive in her private life. Which doesn’t mean that she will accept being steam-rolled by anyone … Too bad that GT likes to jerk her chains, or is it? Their attraction and growing feelings force them to take a look at themselves and work to overcome the character traits that stand in their way. A rather short but absolutely recommended read.

Blinded is a fantastic contemporary romance by Karen Nappa. Ms. Nappa has provided readers with a well-written book furnished with an outstanding cast of characters. This is a BDSM story, so it may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Sandra is a physical therapist and her newest patient is Gregory, an orthopedic surgeon. Their story is packed with drama, humor and sexy bits. I look forward to reading more from Karen Nappa in the future. Blinded is book 5 of the Club Indigo Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited time for reading. Blinded is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
This has been just the most delicious listen! The two narrators put alot into the performance of this book. She was snarky, yet obedient. He commanding, dominate and even grumpy. I was totally into their lives. This isn’t just a bdsm romance. It is a love story. Very sensual and very entertaining. Well done.

Steamy Scenes and Real Emotion
What a emotion laden and rich story! Sandra and GT were real in their insecurities and vices and these characteristics made their love story that much richer. Sometimes, I really REALLY wanted to smack GT for some of the things he said, but his apology made up for it in the end. Maxx Power and Dahlia Lynde provides an immersive duet narration of this story, and really bring it to life.
This is the first audio that I have listened in full. I found the story line great but a slow to kick in. Once it grabbed me I was hooked for the ride.
The actual narration could be very bumpy at times. The switch from one “scene” was to sudden often confused at the beginning of the book but settled down the fyi got into the book.

This story ticks all the boxes that you would want in a bdsm read. It explores some of my deepest, darkest fantasies and thats what had me glued in right from the start. Its in its own category of hotness and I reveled in it. GT and Sandra start off on the wrong foot, points of view clashing but the attraction is deep and so very real. Casual is what they set out to explore but it takes a turn into something much more despite Sandra’s hesitancy. I couldn’t help but keep listening to see what would happen next and what new experience they would explore together. Its scorching hot and doesn’t let up. You won’t be able to get enough!

Although Blinded is the fifth book in the Club Indigo series, it is the first book I’ve read by Karen Nappa. I like the world that Karen Nappa has created. I liked some of the side characters better than the main characters which makes me want to look into reading the rest of the series. Contradictory I also wanted more of Sandra and GT’s story. Overall, Blinded a good introduction to a new-to-me series that I want to explore more.
I received this audiobook for free from StoryOrigin. This is my honest and voluntary review.
I really enjoyed listening to Blinded by Karen Nappa because it was the first time that I listened to a duet narration. The narrators, Dahlia Lynde and Maxx Power were fantastic. Sandra and GT were the main characters in this story. They had met when Sandra had to help GT in therapy due to an injury he received. They really did not get along at all in the beginning. But as time went on and they started to become closer and when they each discovered that they both went to the same BDSM club, things shifted between them. It was a very slow romance brewing between them due to some issues that Sandra had in her life. I really enjoyed the duel narration. I received an ARC of this audiobook in exchange for an honest opinion. I really liked it.
A wonderfully well written and narrated bdsm romance read/listen. I think this is book 5 in the Club Indigo series but can be read as a stand alone, since this was my first read of this series…I hope it won’t be my last. I loved how these characters came across as real people and not over the top alpha billionaires (although I love those reads too). Sandra has an unhealthy outlook on love but has such a strong will for a sub, where GT displays a humility not often seen in a dom character. Love the story line and flow. The dual narration was perfect. I loved this listen!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
I wasn’t sure what to expect. This author is new to me. I enjoy this type of genre. I liked the book. The character relationship development was good. I’m glad the author didn’t try to push them together to quickly. Because of Sandra’s past, it prevents her from agreeing into a relationship. But JT took his time. The times they played it wasn’t overdone. It was tastefully written and read.
I am interested in previous and future books in this series.
Things definitely don’t come easy or quickly for these two. GT has his work cut out for him – first with PT, then with Sandra. I enjoyed the pace. It was a good blend of moving the story along with just the right amount of details. The club scenes are hot and time with Sandra’s mother a challenge.
I liked the narrators. They were fitting for the characters and had a good range when it came to secondary characters.
I met GT after he fired Martin, one of my coworkers he’s a therapist and so am I, GT is recuperating after surgery from an injury he got from a fall while helping a stranded climber. He’s very impatient and frustrated when it comes to his recovery, because he has a job to do as a Doctor with people who depended on him for treatments of their injuries and has no time for being disabled and unable to do his job. So I help him get on his feet again and I’m done, but guess who shows up at the club, GT he’s a Dom and a kinbaku expert and wants ro play with me. But he’s my mother dream, I think he’s a jerk, but does he know his way around the ropes and as I get to know him my opinion has been changing as I find out what person he really is, andI am wondering what am I going to do. I don’t want a permanent relationship but can seem to get around how I’m going to live the rest of my life without him.
Our heroine is a physical therapist and good at what she does. Unfortunately, her latest patient is arrogant, condescending and lacks the patience to do the work. So when he shows up at her place to relax and let off steam, trouble is on the horizon.
This is book five in the series but it works just fine as a stand alone. Everything you need to know is laid out early on.
This is something of an erotic romance story featuring BDSM, and rope play in particular. So this story had its ups and downs for me. I really liked the inclusion of rope play in the narrative as that is rarely touched on in most BDSM stories these days. So that was a definite plus. On the negative side, I really took an instant dislike to our hero. His entire attitude and personality is one I dislike and it made it very hard to get past the initial part of the book. The saving grace was our heroine who is a wonderful character throughout and shows more patience than I could muster. The payoff was that not only does our hero realize his faults, he apologizes for them. The final tally: An excellent story with an well deserved (although hard fought) HEA.
Highly recommended.

This book is part of the Club Indigo Series, but can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read any of the other books but I can guarantee I will be reading the rest of the series. GT and Sandra’s story has an enemies to lovers vibe, but when they meet at a local BDSM club, sparks fly. She loves ropes and he loves tying women up. He proposes a short, exclusive relationship in hopes that it will become more. Sandra does not true men, has been hurt before and has her guard up. The book has interesting push and pull between these two, a few twists alongtheu way, but overall well written, compelling, and well paced. I will definitely add the Club Indigo series to my TBR list. Fortunately all the books in the series are available to read for free with my KU Subscription.

GT and Sandra are in the same business although at different ends of the spectrum. When she has to help him recover from an injury, she quickly learns that the arrogant jerk does not respect her profession. On the club side, as Dom and sub, they are tied together with more than the Kinbaku they both love so much. One embraces it and the other runs. Is that all it can ever be? This was a romantic, hot read.

This is a new author for me and I really enjoyed this
I felt it was a little slow start but the back story for the characters was good
loved the characters – both quite complex characters and the story had a great ending

This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed the story. You have GT who’s a very domineering Dom and a successful surgeon. Sandra agrees to a BDSM relationship with GT. The relationship turns into so much more. I love that this Dom can acknowledge his flaws and can apologize for his behavior. This is a well written story and I love the relationship between GT and Sandra. You need to read to find out if GT and Sandra will get their HEA.
