Hi, I’m Jordyn. I flew from New York to Culver City, CA to interview for the job of a lifetime. When I walked into The Bookstore, I only wanted a steamy romance or two to help pass the time before my big meeting.I walked out with a gorgeous and sweet, cinnamon roll who was more funny and charming than all of my favorite book boyfriends combined, which definitely wasn’t the plan. But Mike was … plan.
But Mike was irresistible, and the time we spent together exploring Culver City was more fun than I’ve had in a long time.
But I’m smart enough to know if something feels to good too be true, it probably is.
I mean, Happily Ever Afters are just for fairy tales and romance novels … right?

Dream Job? OR Dream Guy?
Mike meets Jordyn, in town for a job interview, in a bookstore and he just knows he wants to spend time with her. He asks her out and Jordyn weighs her options and agrees. Mike goes all out in showing her California through his eyes, but soon comes to realize she makes California more beautiful. It’s refreshing to meet a sweet hero that knows what he wants and doesn’t play games. It’s even better when the heroine recognizes a good thing when she sees it. Lots of cute people encounters and several guffaw moments with this couple. If you need a two-hour escape this book makes a fine getaway.

Cute. That’s really all I can say about this one. There was nothing that stood out to me, but it was a quick and cute read for a lunch break.
OMG-I want a book boyfriend just like Mike! If you ever dreamed about falling for a book boyfriend then read this book! All the places they went to and the sweet things they did in just the first day they were together made me sigh and wish I could experience that too! Perfect short story if you want to escape reality and fall for someone at first read!
