Katrina escaped an awful past and was given a second chance with the Warriors but her past comes back and the Warriors are caught in the middle. Blaze struggles with his past but Katrina is his future and he will do anything to make that future a reality.
I loved Blaze as much as the rest of the stories. I loved that she included all of the characters from previous books, to show where they were at that point of time. It always gives something more to look forward to. Blaze is finally released from his past, guilt from a Warrior’s honor. Katrina is finally able to have a future as she releases the pain from her path. We were also introduced to Ronan the hot Cowboy, can’t wait to see what his story is going to be like.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I loved the connection between her and Blaze. Man, Blaze is absolutely intense and has walls a bloody mile high but we’ve seen him having moments of caring with Katrina in Jax’s book but he just assumed it was because he was the one to turn her from an half-breed to full vampire and he finally gets his head out of his a*se and realises that he actually loves her, he just doesn’t know that it’s love when Katrina is be*ten and it’s touch and go for awhile as she’s not healing as she should be since she’s a vampire who heal rapidly. Katrina tells Blaze and the rest of the Warriors that she doesn’t know who hurt her but Adam read her using his power and knows that she knows exactly who hurt her and why and that it could cause a problem for them all, he then tells them that he’ll give her a chance to explain before he tells her secrets. Katrina tells them who be*t her up, why and who she actually is and it turns out that her dad is the president of a motor cycle club and he’s one that turned her into a half-breed well it was a patched member who created the injection and did so on her fathers orders and because she left not once but twice she has to pay just like her mother who was r*ped multiple times and left alive long enough for her to see Katrina be turned into a half-breed then m*rdered in front of Katrina. The Warriors weren’t very happy to hear this news and were apprehensive whether she could be trusted. Man, this book was an emotional rollercoaster especially when Blaze finally got his sh*t together after wee Daniel told him that he needs to go see Caroline so she can deliver the messages from the spirits following him round and make his peace with it otherwise he’ll lose Katrina forever. I loved how Katrina has a whole different side to her and is completely bada*se. Steve still cracks me the fu*k up with all the sh*t that comes out of his mouth and it gets worse when he tries to fix it. I really hope Dr McHottie Vampire Slade can find out what’s wrong with Katrina and why she didn’t heal quickly and I hope it’s nothing too serious as she deserves all the happiness in the world after everything she’s been through growing up in a motor cycle club. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
Can you stand the heat
Katrina and Blaze are the perfect power couple. The author has given them these amazing powers with unfortunate pasts and together they are able to heal. But it wouldn’t be a Protectors story if there wasn’t some danger, some anger and some humor with one liners by Steve. I loved this addition to the series and can’t wait to read the next book
