I like the main character, who is strong, but not without her faults. She is a well-rounded character. The supporting characters each have their own defined personalities. Not predictable, and enjoyable to read.

Was an ok book, but it led NOWHERE. The conflict is kind of there, but nothing ever advances in terms of a solution. She decides to join the army to figure out something about her father, then ends up in a pointless fight, but it’s ok because she can NEVER lose a fight and no one dies. The whole fight scene didn’t affect the overall plot and …
