I am loyal, but I will betray you.I am strong, but I have scars.I am an angel, but the devil.I met her when I was sixteen and she was a breath of fresh air. She swooped in, making me smile. But then she left, taking my next breath with her.Her smile could light up a room, making my black heart pitter patter.I found her again ten years later, with a syringe in her arm. Blood coming from between …
Blood coming from between her legs.
She was broken and I was glad she was broken. She wouldn’t think less of me and my damaged ways.

Let me start off by saying this book is dark and a must read. This book was intense, gripping, heartbreaking, page turning, word for word good.
This book is amazing. It may be a bit hardcore for some people but I find it captivating. It is about a man who Kills people for a living and doesn’t let people touch him, emotionally or physically, and a girl. I’m not going to say anymore about it 😉 I just recently finnished this book and it left me feeling the loss the characters felt, with the enormous cliff hanger the author left us with. I would definitely reccomended this book to mature readers, as it kept me wanting more to the very end. I may update this review once I finish the next book in this trilogy, hope I’ve convinced you to read it <3
This was such an interesting read that I bought the next two books cause I was hooked! Not your average fairytale everything is wonderful ending. It was dark & passionate. Recommend!
lousy
DNF. Way too dark for me. TW rape & torture.
What a book!! Black/Liam and Rose, what a loaded story line. I fell in love with the main characters and rooted for them. Just expect the unexpected and as for me, I was definitely very emotional. I like this author, she is new to me and I plan on listening to her other books on Audible and Kindle Amazon.
This one is seriously dark and screwed up. But I was pretty engaged with the story and I’m dying to read book 2, just to find out what happens.
I had to really think about how I wanted to rate this book. For me, I did not like the writing type but liked the story. I like more of books that make me feel like I am right in the story watching it unfold. This made me feel more like a diary was being read.
I was not too crazy about the narrators either. There was just no emotion put in the reading. It was a more monotone read.
As far as the storyline I like the story itself I like dark reads and this is what this was. just wised it to be written differently. I do not think I will be buying the next 2 books in the trilogy.
I loved this series. It made me mad, cry, laugh (even when it seemed inappropriate). There is something about the characters that pulls you in and sticks with you.
Wow, this book was not what I was expecting. So many amazing twists & turns. My first TL Smith listen. Looking forward to listening to Red next. Excellent narration by Cat Gould & PJ Ochlan.
This book is intense, but in a good way. There is a lot of things going on, angst, torture, love, drama. This is my first book by this author and I’ve already grabbed the other two books in the series. I guess this would fall into the genre of dark romance, although it has some action in it as well. If you are looking for something that will keep your attention and pull you in from the very first chapter, this is a book for you.
Good plot but terrible follow through. Honestly a painful read; be prepared for bad grammar and over dramatic characters.
Not really something I usually read but wow loved the horrible characters that turned out to be truly beautiful people in a sadistic way
Too dark for me. Maybe someone else would like it.
I’d you like a dark twisted story this series is for you
Couldn’t put Black down. Went back and bought Red and White, and they are just as gut-wrenching. ..in all the best ways. When characters become a part of you, and these characters do, there’s nothing better. What a wild ride: romance, murder, retribution, broken souls and more broken souls who just FIT with them, family, loyalty and love. TL Smith is so talented.
Now I cant wait to read the others in this series!!!!!
So, so, so good! I read book2 (Red) right after book one (Black). I stopped all my regular activities to finish reading. I look forward to read more book from T. L. Smith. I highly recommend!
Made me cry
Entertaining but poor character development.
