Always like Kim Harrison books,
I love the Hollows series but for some reason this one just didn’t get me excited. It seemed to be all over the place as far as story line and Rachel I just wanted to slap and tell her to get it together. It was not a bad book but it wasn’t the best so far.
I absolutely love this author. She has me hooked. I’ve pretty much read everything she’s written and am impatiently waiting for more!
Of all the Hollows books, this is my favorite so far. Editing was top notch this time, and the story had a lovely flow to it. It was a page-turner from start to finish, and I’m in love with Al. All I want to know is when are Trent and Rachel going to stop sparring and get down and do the ugly?
I love this series and it features one of my favorite magic systems ever.
These books get better with every one! From book one you are invested in the characters because they are so well crafted. You can see the Hollows because the scene is set masterfully! The story is so well told you become immersed in it and become personally invested in the characters and their wants & desires!
