Wow! This is the 1st book of the Black Light series I have read. I am already a huge fan of LK Shaw’s. This book is another big hit for me! This book is a page turner. I just have to keep reading to find out what happens next. I had no internet, at the time, but had the book on my cell. I carried it around with me and read it at every opportunity. I even took it to bed and when I woke up at night, would read more. LOL If you are a fan of true romantic suspense. Please put this in your TBR. It has some very sexy BDSM scenes. It is also a Menage story. I highly recommend this book. From a True Fan… Pam James.

This one…….perfect addition to The Black Light series! I have read and loved each one of these and this one, she nailed it.
It has everything I expect from LK Shaw, I am a faithful stalker, on Amazon anyway, real life would be bad, bad, bad……I look horrible in orange anyway!
Joseph, Nathaniel and Madeline had me from the first chapter, it started hot and heavy and just snowballed from there. But honestly the best parts in it were the emotions she pulled out of me. And on a side note I’m so glad we didn’t get a wussy heroine, that woulda disappointed me! I highly recommend this one, especially if you like some intrigue, hot FBI guys and an amazing plot!
This was the first book I’ve read of the Black Light series. I have been a fan of the author from her first book. This book is super sexy and keeps you on the edge. It’s about Dr. Madeline Parrish who moves to Washington D.C. after she has been receiving love notes from a secret admirer. Her friends take her to the club Black Light where she meets Joseph and Nathaniel whom later she finds out our FBI agent. You will see how their relationship grows and works while they are investigating who is behind the letters that are being sent to Madeline.
Loved this book! Couldn’t put it down, read it in one night. Dr. Madeline Parrish moved to Washington D.C. after receiving letters from an admirer who has been named Casanova by the FBI. She goes with friends to the local club Black Light. There she meets Joseph and Nathaniel who are FBI agents assigned to the Casanova case. There is an instant connection between them. As the investigation continues the men discover that Madeline is the latest person to be receiving these letters. All previous recipients where murdered 6 months after they started receiving the letters. Madeline has been receiving them for 6 months. The story is filled with suspense and has a twist that will surprise the reader.
I was hooked on this from the first page and kept on reading until I was done. This is the first book I have read by this author and I am a new fan. For those unfamiliar, Black Light is an exclusive BDSM club. Madeline is new in town. An experienced sub, she is quickly spotted by Doms Joseph and Nat. They all feel a connection they want to explore after their scene and plan to meet up again. They meet sooner than expected, and the triad need to balance out their emerging ménage D/s relationship with their now professional relationship. There is a lot of tension around Maddy’s safety, and the action at the end was so exciting. Maddy’s training as a psychologist and experience with mind bends help her deal with the situation. A gripping thriller with BDSM elements which kept my eyes glued to the page until I was finished.
I am voluntarily leaving my opinion of a review copy of this book.
What an absolute heart-stopping, heart-warming storyline L. K. Shaw has given us!! To say this took me on an emotional rollercoaster is an understatement. This is so intense, so spell-binding, it kept me on the edge of my seat and I literally could not put it down. The chemistry between Madeline, Joseph and Nathaniel is beyond close, it’s like watching the melding of souls. *sigh* Add to that a serial killer that hasn’t been caught yet and my heart couldn’t stop pounding. What an extraordinary story you don’t want to miss.
This was so full of suspence and danger as Madeline has a stalker and is all out creepy. Nat and Josepth both Doms vow to protect her at any cost both with very different personalities which I liked it keeps them balanced and lucky for them looking for a Sub. The three together fit so perfectly and with so much trust I loved it. very well developed characters and the plot was very engaging and lets not forget hot.
LK Shaw Black Light Possession is a mind blowing thriller with a lot of suspense.
Madeline is a clinical psychologist who likes to be a submissive. After a breakup and receiving strange letters from a admirer she decides to move and start new in another place.
With the help of her best friend Garreth, he takes her to Black Light. In there she meets Nathaniel and Joseph, who besides being partners in their job, they’re like brothers who like to share a woman in a ménage relationship.
When Madeline’s secret admirer / stalker finds her, Nathaniel and Joseph learn that he’s the killer that they’re been hunting down.
This is a scorching hot book that has you at the edge of your seat. LK Shaw did a stunning work writing this incredible book. This book is worth reading.
Black Light Series is worth reading too, so don’t missed out on this opportunity.
Yet another brilliant story to add to the Black Light series!! I love how each different author adds their own take and twist onto the Black light storys!!
This is a thrilling, edge of the seat story which keeps you guessing right up to the end. Brilliant characters, senarios and of course steaming hot kinky sex!!
Totally loved it!!
This was my first read by this author and I loved it. It’s a great addition to the Black Light Series. Madeline is a Dr. who leaves her home to get away from a bad relationship. She finds one night of extreme pleasure with two men, Joseph and Nathaniel. They make arrangements to meet again, but they actually meet sooner than that and they are all taken by surprise. The story unravels from there with a great story line.
There is great sex, suspense, emotions, an awesome plot a definite page turner. There were new aspects to BDSM that I had not read before and I enjoyed learning about the new play options. I loved how Nathaniel and Joseph were such a great team in both their work and their play.
I would recommend this author, the Black Light series and any other books by Ms. Shaw. I received this advanced reader’s copy in exchange for an honest review.
This book is a great addition to the Black Light world! It was unique and I loved the creepy factor of the letters. And the story is so hot too!
I love Black Light and Possession is no exception and the suspense was gripping The dynamic between the three was amazing and the transformation of Nathaniel was so heartwarming. I was so enthralled I couldn’t put it down and had to read it from beginning to end in one go. A great addition to the Black Light Series.
Since my first Black Light novel, (theoretically Livia Grant’s Infamous Love, but Black Light: Rocked might hold this title), I’ve been hooked. Initially, it had more to do with the triad of Chase, Jaxon, and Emma. I have a dirty little interest in MMF romances (partly because I don’t understand how they truly work in practice…not judging). However, in reading these books, you are drawn into the individual characters who frequent Black Light, a BDSM club. The way that individual authors (yes, there is some oversight of these authors) create the stories and twine them into other authors’ stories in the series intrigues me. I love when characters from other stories play into the existing story/book. This is the case with the Black Light series.
We are now in Season 2 of the Black Light series, and L.K. Shaw’s book, Black Light: Possession, is the most recent fare. I received an ARC of it for an honest review.
With this book, we find ourselves back in D.C. at the original Black Light. The latter part of Season 1 found us in the newest version of it in LA. And I loved going back to the original in this book. It feels like going home again. This time around, we meet Joseph, Nathaniel, and Madeline. Joseph and Nathaniel work together at the FBI. They are equal parts “yin and yang” with Joseph as the tender, but stern dominant and Nathaniel as more brash and unemotional. They are Doms together, searching for their perfect submissive. They are looking for an amazing night at Black Light, but they are also looking for a life-long partner to fulfill their triad. Madeline has recently moved to DC, as a way to escape a stalker and find a fresh new start after a disappointing break-up with her former Dom. She simply needs something new. Her friend, Gareth, is a DM at Black Light, and he introduces her to this new club. From the beginning, she is enthralled. This is further escalated when she meets Joseph and Nathaniel on her first night. From the start, the chemistry between the three is fire, so much so that Joseph knows that Madeline is “the one” for him and Nathaniel. However, they need to explore the relationship further before fully committing to it.
A few days after her evening at Black Light, it becomes apparent that Madeline’s stalker has followed her to DC. The letters she receives from the stalker match similar letters in a case that Joseph and Nathaniel are working related to a serial killer. On investigating the letter, they realize the Madeline is the intended target. Very quickly, the relationship between the three becomes about protecting Madeline at all costs. Will they realize a life-long commitment, or is Madeline in danger of losing her life? You need to read this book.
What I love most about L.K. Shaw’s book is the ease of the relationship of the characters. There is no dawdling in moving these characters together. They meet on the first night at Black Light, and they spend the rest of their time together in the story. There is no angst about their “throupling.” Instead, the serial killer and stalker investigation play a large part in their story. This is THE strife to their relationship. Madeline is a good submissive. She doesn’t push back on Joseph and Nathaniel very much, so they can love her easily. Also, the “time between the sheets” with these three will leave you fanning yourself.
Even more, Nathaniel, who carries some emotional baggage from his youth, undergoes a change due to this burgeoning relationship. I personally love, in a romance, when characters who are seemingly closed off emotionally bloom feelings because they are loved fully. Reading the emotional softening of Nathaniel in this story adds another layer to it.
I enjoyed these characters and their relationship. Even more, it felt like “old home” week at Black Light. If you haven’t read this series, and you like BDSM elements in your romance, then you should read this series and this book. It is indeed worthy of your time.
Overall: 5 Stars
Possession was a fantastic addition to the Black Light series! It fits right in like a puzzle piece, and we get Madeline, Nat and Joseph’s story. It’s intriguing, steaming hot, and you’ll be on edge with the twists and turns! These two alpha Doms are sexy and domineering, just what Madeline needed. Figuring out whether the three of them could work in a relationship was what made this such an angsty read. Their possession of Madeline, oh, so swoony! And with a creepy stalker on the loose, the suspense was just killing me! I loved it all!!
I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book. What an amazing, suspense romance, with a sprinkling of BDSM. Madeline moves to DC, for a couple of reasons. Little did she know she’d be moving to DC for a couple of more reasons; their names being Joseph and Nathaniel. This was a page turner, don’t want to put the Kindle down book! Ms. Shaw kept this reader entranced word after word, page after page, chapter after chapter. Cannot wait for more by this awesome author!
Wow. This book is a great addition to this Black Light series. The chemistry between Madeleine, Joseph and Nathaniel is so amazing. There is a lot of suspense, action and sex. Even though they met at Black Light most of the action takes place outside of Black Light. This is a page turner and sit at the edge of your seat book. Enjoy
One of my all time faves so far in the black light series, with some seriously hawwwwwt bdsm.
The story is vivid and all encompassing, leaving you wondering how you survived this long without it.
There’s a great mix of erotica and suspense, and is extremely well written and not stuffed full of stereotypical fillers. It leaves you guessing right up until the last minute, full of steamy hot scenes, edge of your seat thrills that leave you desperate to read on.
This isn’t flowery bdsm either, the characters are mature and experienced enough and the actual bdsm scenes are very well written, like lots of good research was done!!
I’d definitely recommend this book, it’s a 5 from me!
I have loved every single Black Light book but Possession….this book is THE BEST!
Madeline hasn’t been able to move on from her recent break up and she’s been getting these letters for months from a stalker…time for a fresh start. Joseph and Nathaniel are not only partners at the FBI but they are also the best of friends.
One night at Black Light these three meet and it’s the beginning of not only a deep connection for them but also a disturbing nightmare they can’t wake up from.
This book had me hooked from the start. I seriously thought I knew which the bad guy was but when it all came to light….Mind Blown!!!!!!
Dr Madeline Parrish has a secret admirer. She moves to DC to get away from him. A friend invites her to Black light, an upscale BDSM club where she has a wonderful night being topped by two Doms. But her secret admirer returns, more threatening than ever. She turns to the FBI, where none other than the two Doms who topped her are assigned to her case. This is an intense, suspenseful read, by a wonderful author who is new to the Blacklight world. It is full of steam. I highly recommend this book 4.5 stars.
