Great perspective. Something different.
Could not put it down. Ordered not book
I am in love with Mazen. So well-written, patient, and passionate. I immediately bought and read White Locks (Book 2) within 24 hours. I am so ready for Book 3!
Great storyline.
I started this book with an open mind because I knew it would be a different type of read for me and it blew me away. I absolutely loved this story and the characters within it, especially Mazen. Mazen was simply amazing! He had so much patience, he was caring, loving and protective of those he loved. There were times I wanted to slap the hell out of Joseph and Marie. Marie cried a lot. This story had my emotions all over the place and I loved every minute of it and I can’t wait to start the next book in this series.
This series can make you want more. It can take turns to keep you on your toes. The romance is there, but is it right?
Great writing and a cliff hanger. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
It brought me into a world that I know very little about. It storylines that as much as people are different, they are more alike than they fathom and that love flourishes without boundaries.
Pleasantly surprised with the content and the story told in this book. Romances lately have seemed to tell the same story and all seem to have the same theme. This was an actual story that I had not heard before and helped me to understand more about the Muslim religion. It also had so many informative details on what it would be like to be an Arabic prince and the responsibilities it entails. What better way to see this than through the eyes of a young American girl forced into this world?
I found this book to be page turner, always wondered what Marie an Mazen were thinking. I could feel for the betrayal Marie faced. This book made me look at how I was raised an made me question the beliefs that were placed on me. Made me want to explore other beliefs and ideals.
The book is a true slow burn love story full of drama and heartbreak. A total must read.
I believe that books are the easiest way to escape your life .. They introduce you to new people and cultures .. They take you to a world of your choice for as long as there is ink still on the paper . However, when a book change one of your beliefs, that takes the matter to a whole new level and that’s exactly what happened when I read “The Colorblind Trilogy” .
It changed one of my strongest beliefs that alot of people tried to change before and failed miserably .. It made me view some matters in a new light .
It has been a long time since I was fascinated with a story like that .. The development of the characters is unbelievably realistic to the extent that I could predict some of their reactions to certain matters on the other hand you could never predict the twists in the story until you’re one page or less away from discovering the truth .
To cut it short , I haven’t read anything like this trilogy in ages .. I experienced everything with the characters from heartache to extreme joy without it being dramatic or over done .
Read that trilogy you’ll never be disappointed
Having never read a book with an Arab country as the setting, I found this to be an interesting and informative read. The clash between the characters and their religions brought an interesting depth to the storyline. I acquired this book free from Bookbub, however I was so drawn into the characters that I actually purchased the second book in the series: White Locks!!
Makes you think about how Arabs (Muslims) are viewed after 9-11 and how some of our opinions are incorrect.
Not my kind of book to read for entertainment. Muslims, Clinton?
It gave me something to think about. Saw an issue from another perspective. I did not like that it didn’t end, have to get book 2 to finish the story.
I rarely give five stars but this book is worthy. Yes, it has romance, more important, it has pages that beg to be turned! The writer provokes you think about your own personal prejudices regarding those we deem as different from us.
This was a very good story. The many twists and turns kept me wanting to read more and more.
Loved this series. I will be looking into more of her stories. Some of the best plots. Thank you. Jd
Quick easy read. While predictable, it was still enjoyable. I quickly ordered the second in the series and am looking forward to #3
You wrote about an very interesting topic. I couldn’t put it down.
